M07 RELEASES DANCE FUEL SINGLE ‘SUGAR RUSH’ OUT 23RD OCTOBER ON KEY FACTORY MUSIC

A second sweet slice of his live performance film ‘SIGNAL’ - Get it HERE
Premiered at Amsterdam Dance Event 22nd October, plus full EP early 2027

Enigmatic live artist/producer M07 returns with ‘Sugar Rush’, ‘a pop-edged melodic house single about appetite: wanting everything and staying for none of it.’ The track debuted in his ‘SIGNAL’ live performance film which sold out four screenings on Premiere Night at Amsterdam Dance Event at Koninklijk Theater Tuschinski. EU tour and YouTube release to follow, and a full EP due early 2027. ‘Sugar Rush’ is out now on his Key Factory Music imprint.

After escaping from war with family after a decade in Kyiv, LA-born, now Spain-based live artist/producer M07, named for the Kyiv–Warsaw highway out of Ukraine taken by millions in 2022, moved into full-on music production with his film ‘SIGNAL’, including his first single from the project, ‘Broken’, supported by DJ Mag, Numéro, METAL Magazine, Beatportal and more.

New single ‘Sugar Rush’: high energy (of course!) dance fuel with a dark edge as melodic synth arps take on an acid tinge amid hoover swoops and hooky vocal phrasing. M07 wrote it in his own voice, then realised he'd heard its story too often: the man who takes what he wants and leaves before morning. So he flipped it. Rewritten along with songwriter Deza, now the woman holds the power. She knows exactly what this is, and she's gone before the crash which follows the spike – the sweetness and sin. ‘Some songs are confessions. This one's an alibi.’ - M07

Co-writer Deza has recently written for INJI and Chelsea Cutler, and releases music as googly eyes, her project with Tove Lo and Flume on Pretty Swede Records.

More about M07: M07’s work is largely shaped by his years in Kyiv, from 2013 until the full-scale invasion began in February 2022. But music came long before and never stopped: Los Angeles dance radio was playing his tracks while he was still in high school, and over the next twenty-five years he wrote around three hundred more, shared only with friends. His debut EP, ‘KM0’, dropped February 2026.

In between, M07 successfully explored every side of the business except the stage: rave promoter in early-2000s Los Angeles (including producing what was then the West Coast’s largest drum-and-bass event, drawing around 5,000 people), talent buyer, booking agent, manager, software creator for the live music industry… Now, ‘SIGNAL’ is the culmination: darker, distorted, hardware-sourced, closer to what he was making in private all along.

A version of ‘Sugar Rush’ was also recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios as part of M07’s ‘SIGNAL’ live performance film, produced by M07 and an elite team. Watch out for the film tour/online release and the full EP, as long-established multi-talent M07 takes centre stage at last.

RÉVEILLON CARNEIROS CELEBRATES 10 YEARS WITH BLACK COFFEE, MICHAEL BIBI, ANOTR AND JAMIE JONES

Brazilian New Year’s festival returns to Praia dos Carneiros from 26 December 2026 to 2 January 2027 with 94 acts, three stages and a new Wellness Club

Réveillon Carneiros will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an eight-day edition on Brazil’s northeast coast when it returns to Praia dos Carneiros in Pernambuco from 26 December 2026 to 2 January 2027.

The anniversary edition plays out under the theme of The Eternal Now, reflecting on ten years of the festival and the meeting point between past, present and future: the now. At a time when attention is constantly being pulled elsewhere, the theme asks a simple question: Are you here now?

The festival brings together 94 acts across electronic and Brazilian music, spanning different scenes and generations. Black Coffee, Michael Bibi, ANOTR and Jamie Jones lead a lineup that also includes Jimi Jules, Kerri Chandler, Mau P, Monolink, WhoMadeWho, Hot Since 82, Carlita and Franky Rizardo.

The programme also features a series of special back-to-back sets, including Adriatique b2b Vintage Culture, Mochakk b2b Maz and Adam Ten b2b Mita Gami, while Brazilian music will have a key presence with Gilberto Gil performing with Gilsons, alongside forró artist João Gomes, Thiaguinho and Syon Trio.

Réveillon Carneiros will also introduce its first Wellness Club for the 2026/27 edition, created in collaboration with NOW Festival. Conceived as a daytime club with its own programme, the space will feature a sauna, ice bath and massage treatments, alongside workouts, yoga, pilates, talks and workshops. Guests will be able to come and go throughout the day, with access included with both the Full Pass and Night Pass. The existing Ritual programme will also return, offering meditation, sound healing and other wellness sessions throughout the festival.

As part of its 10-year celebration, Réveillon Carneiros expands to three stages, with the new Labryinto Stage joining the Main Stage and Trópico Stage. Created in collaboration with Labryinto, the collective behind gatherings in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, the new stage will combine electronic music with its own approach to architecture and production.

The Main Stage will host the festival’s larger-scale performances, while the Trópico Stage will offer a more intimate setting with a house-focused programme. Across the three spaces, the festival will present different musical directions throughout its five Night Celebrations.

The Night Celebrations run from 10pm to 6am, with New Year’s Eve extending from 8pm to 8am. Both the Full Pass and Night Pass include an open bar and food throughout the night, with food served by Arcádia.

The programme continues at Mouton Beach Club, with six sunset parties running from 4pm to 10pm. Villa Mouton serves as a central meeting point throughout the experience, bringing together services and conveniences across the eight days.

The 2026/27 edition marks a decade since Réveillon Carneiros first launched in Pernambuco. Over that period, the festival has developed from a local New Year’s celebration into an international event, with the previous edition welcoming guests from 68 countries and every state in Brazil.

Ten years after its first New Year’s celebration in Carneiros, the festival returns to where it began, looking back at its history while asking what it means to be present now.

INSOMNIAC AND AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT ANNOUNCE MAP POINT SUMMIT, A NEW GLOBAL GATHERING FOR ELECTRONIC MUSIC AND RAVE CULTURE

Insomniac today announced Map Point Summit, a new electronic music and rave culture conference created in collaboration with Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Debuting May 2027 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas between the Dusk (May 14-16) and Dawn (May 21-23) weekends of EDC festival, the three-day summit will bring together people from across the global electronic music community.

Created to support the people and independent spirit that built rave culture, Map Point Summit will provide a gathering place for aspiring visionaries, rising creators, independent promoters, artists, entrepreneurs, and established professionals to share knowledge, build relationships, discover opportunities, and help shape the future of the scene.

The summit's name comes from the early days of underground rave culture, when party locations were often kept secret. Ravers would first travel to a designated meeting spot known as a map point, where they would receive directions and a map leading them to the party. Map Point Summit brings that tradition back with a new purpose: helping people find their way into the culture, navigate their journey, and grow within it.

Insomniac Founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella first unveiled Map Point Summit during his keynote conversation at the 30th edition of Amsterdam Dance Event, titled “The Future of Rave Culture and Why It Needs Its Own Industry.” Moderated by Billboard Dance Director Katie Bain, the conversation explored the importance of the live electronic music scene, the challenges facing independent promoters, and Rotella's belief that rave culture's long-term survival depends on establishing a stronger, more independent business ecosystem.

“Rave culture was built by ravers, for ravers. It started as a grassroots, community-driven movement with its own values, spirit, and way of doing things,” Rotella said. “As our scene has grown, I believe it's become increasingly important to protect what made it special in the first place. That's why Map Point Summit means so much to me. We need to support independent promoters, share knowledge, create opportunities for the next generation, and work together to build an industry that allows rave culture to thrive on its own terms. I'm excited to partner with ADE to help bring that vision to life.”

The collaboration brings together two organizations with deep roots in electronic music. For more than three decades, Insomniac has helped grow rave culture through live events and experiences built around music, creativity, inclusivity, and community. Amsterdam Dance Event has established itself as an international gathering for electronic music, connecting artists, industry professionals, innovators, and emerging talent through its conference, festival, and educational programs.

Combining ADE's experience in industry education and professional development with Insomniac's roots in rave culture and live events, the inaugural Map Point Summit will feature industry conversations, educational sessions, creative workshops, networking opportunities, and programming designed for people at every stage of their journey.

Beyond professional development, the summit will encourage conversations about how community-driven events can maintain their identity and independence as electronic music continues to grow. By bringing together different generations and perspectives, Map Point Summit aims to support a sustainable future for the culture and the people who make it possible.

More than a conference, Map Point Summit is a place to share knowledge, build lifelong connections, and help create the future of rave culture together.

Additional programming, speakers, and ticket information will be announced in the coming months. Visit mappointsummit.com to register your interest and receive updates.
