JOHN DIGWEED TO RELEASE LIVE AT TWILO

Due for release on July 24, the four-CD live recording captures Digweed's historic return to the legendary New York nightclub on March 6, 2026, with five unforgettable hours spanning three decades of music - from timeless New York house classics to contemporary underground favourites.

Twenty-five years after the doors of New York City's legendary Twilo closed, John Digweed returns to the venue that helped define an era of electronic music with the release of Live at Twilo, a stunning four-CD live mix recorded during the club's extraordinary one-off reunion on March 6, 2026.

Captured during Danny Tenaglia's birthday weekend celebrations, Live at Twilo documents Digweed's emotional return to the iconic dancefloor at 530 West 27th Street; a venue forever intertwined with his career and with the evolution of electronic music in America.

For clubbers around the world, Twilo was more than just a nightclub. Throughout the late 1990s, Sasha & John Digweed's legendary monthly residencies became the benchmark for marathon DJ sets, pushing musical boundaries over eight and sometimes ten-hour performances that helped establish progressive house as a global movement. Their appearances at Twilo between 1996 and the club's closure in 2001 remain among the most celebrated moments in dance music history, making Digweed's return for this special reunion one of the most significant events in recent club culture.

Reflecting on the release, John Digweed said:

"This was such a special night for me and being invited back to play Twilo again, for Danny Tenaglia's birthday weekend was a dream come true. After listening back to the recording, I knew I had to release this set, which was so memorable for me and for so many people that had travelled far and wide to have one more dance in that incredible room. I hope that you enjoy my set as much as I did on the night.”

Speaking on the early response to the release, John continued:

"I’ve been totally blown away by the reaction to the announcement of this album. The limited edition signed CD’s and Vinyl packs sold out in 10 days, which was just an amazing response to this release.”

Spread across four CDs, and with four continuous mixes also available to stream exclusively on Bandcamp, Live at Twilo captures five hours of Digweed's extended set as he carefully rebuilds the atmosphere of one of the world's most revered dancefloors. Seamlessly blending music from three decades, the mix pays homage to Twilo's rich musical heritage while remaining firmly rooted in the present.

Classic New York house influences from artists including Angel Moraes, Deep Dish, John Creamer & Stephane K sit effortlessly alongside contemporary favourites such as Frankey & Sandrino, Tom Pavicich, Yunus Guvenen and Rocco Rodamaal. The result is a timeless journey that celebrates both the club's extraordinary legacy and Digweed's enduring artistry behind the decks. Recorded in front of a packed room filled with fans who travelled from across the globe to experience one final night on the famous Twilo dancefloor, the recording captures an atmosphere that many believed would never exist again.

CRISTI CONS TO RELEASE NEW “OUT OF CYCLE” LP ON HIS AMPHIA LABEL

Cristi Cons returns to beyond fixed frameworks with Out of Cycle Part 2, expanding the narrative.

He continues his exploration of fluid musical identity, released via Amphia, the label which he co-founded and runs alongside Vlad Caia.

Conceived as a continuation of Out of Cycle Part 1, released back in 2021, the new installment deepens the concept of operating outside predefined structures, both in form and sonic direction. Rather than adhering to a single aesthetic, the album reflects a wide spectrum of influences, capturing an evolving artistic language shaped by intuition, experimentation, and long-term musical curiosity.

The title Out of Cycle acts as both a statement and a method: stepping outside familiar loops, resisting categorization, and allowing the music to exist beyond rigid expectations. This philosophy extends into the production itself, where subtle variations in structure, tone, and pacing reveal a process driven less by formula and more by exploration.

Across the album, rhythmic frameworks shift between hypnotic, club-oriented patterns and more introspective passages, while textures unfold with a focus on depth, movement, and spatial detail. Each track functions as part of a broader continuum, yet maintains its own identity, highlighting a deliberate departure from cyclical repetition in favor of a more open-ended approach.

Released on vinyl and digital formats, Out of Cycle Part 2 marks another chapter in Cristi's ongoing dialogue between club functionality and deeper listening contexts. While rooted in stereo composition, the project also opens the possibility for further reinterpretation, reflecting an interest in how the same material can evolve across different listening environments.

With this record, Cristi continues to trace a distinct artistic trajectory, one that prioritizes depth, individuality, and the ongoing expansion of his musical language as it evolves beyond established forms.
