DISCLOSURE, RAMPA & ADAM PORT TO HEADLINE TWO YARD EVENTS AT WHITE SAND MOUNTAINS PORTUGAL THIS JULY

The British duo will debut at the stunning location, supported by Sofi Tukker and Two Another on July 25th while Rampa & Adam Port headline on July 18th

Fresh from the first sold-out edition of Yard Festival, Yard returns to Portugal's White Sand Mountains this July with a two-event series headlined by Disclosure, Rampa & Adam Port.

Set to make their debut at the striking Setúbal location, Disclosure will take over the dramatic desert-esque landscape Saturday, July 25th. The British duo will be joined by Grammy-nominated American artists, Sofi Tukker, who will bring their live fusion house tracks to the stage alongside Two Another with their kaleidoscopic blend of Electronic, RnB, Indie pop and soul in what is shaping up to be a standout event in Portugal’s dance music calendar.

The first event of the series, kicking off July 18th, will feature Keinemusik duo Rampa & Adam Port, who make their return to Yard after their highlight performances at the open-air venue first took place in 2024. Their signature, deep blend of emotional house promises a defining moment in the season so far.

A hallmark feature of the events taking place next month is the White Sand Mountains, a natural landscape of bright dunes and surrounding cliffs in Quinta do Anjo, Setúbal, which serves as the home of Yard Festival. The site is transformed for each event through large-scale projections, immersive art installations and production designed to integrate music and landscape into a single experience.

The July series continues the momentum of a landmark year for Yard. Following the first sold-out edition of Yard Festival, the brand has cemented its position as one of Portugal's most distinctive music and cultural experiences. Over the years iy has welcomed internationally acclaimed artists including RY X, Bonobo, PAWSA, Ahmed Spins & more within its unique White Sand Mountains setting, all over portugal and as far a Rio De Janeiro. Guided by a vision to create gatherings that celebrate the senses, the 2026 season will conclude with a special two-day festival in collaboration with WhoMadeWho, marking another milestone in Yard's continued evolution.

ODYSSAY RELEASES LONG-AWAITED ID ‘CONSENT’

Ukrainian live electronic artist and producer ODYSSAY returns to ODA Recordings with Consent, a high-energy melodic techno release that combines relentless club momentum with cinematic emotion. Driven by commanding instrumentals and epic choir vocals, this outstanding addition to his catalogue encapsulates the raw and emotive essence of his live performances.

Built around meticulous tension and release, Consent unfolds through rich layers of melodic textures before reaching an uplifting, spiritually charged climax. While the production was initially conceived without choral elements, its defining character emerged during rehearsals for the monumental ODA Symphony performance at Kyiv's Palace of Sports.

The integration of a live choir proved so powerful and organic that it became an essential part of the final studio version, transforming the track into an emotionally resonant and sonically expansive statement. The result is a release designed for peak-time dancefloor moments, and has rapidly become an essential component of ODYSSAY’s sonic identity. Completed by a captivating video recording from the ODA Symphony, Consent is highlighted in its audio-visual capacity, allowing viewers to gain a deeper understanding of the track and the power it has over audiences.

Speaking about the release, ODYSSAY mentioned:

"I have been waiting for the release of this track for so long. People who come to my live shows know this track inside out and have been constantly asking me when it’s finally coming out. During rehearsals for the ODA Symphony show at the Palace of Sports, we decided to try adding a live choir to the arrangement. It integrated so perfectly and brought such an incredible, raw energy that we just had to keep it in the final studio recording. This release is deeply special to me, and I hope everyone who listens to it will enjoy it!"

ODYSSAY is a Ukrainian electronic music artist and live performer operating at the intersection of melodic techno and progressive house. Rejecting the conventional DJ format, he performs exclusively as a live act, building immersive sonic landscapes in real time through a sophisticated hardware setup of analogue synthesisers combined with live vocals. His distinctive visual identity – featuring signature all-white attire – stands in deliberate contrast to the traditionally dark aesthetic of the techno underground, reinforcing the project's unique artistic vision both sonically and visually.

His project first gained international recognition through early releases that amassed millions of streams, and his song Before You Go was crowned "Track of the Year" on Kiss FM. Since then, ODYSSAY has released music on globally recognised labels including Interstellar (part of the Insomniac family), Armada Music, Purified Records, and Black Hole Recordings.

In a landmark achievement for the Eastern European electronic music scene, ODYSSAY became the first Ukrainian electronic artist to headline and sell out Kyiv's Palace of Sports, the country's largest indoor arena. Performed under wartime conditions before an audience of more than 7,000 people, the ambitious audio-visual production marked a defining cultural moment and demonstrated the power of live electronic performance to unite audiences on a stadium scale.

With Consent, ODYSSAY continues to push the boundaries between underground club culture and emotionally immersive live performance, delivering a career-defining release that will stand the test of time.

PDQB UNVEILS EXPANSIVE DOUBLE VINYL LP ‘DER TRANSIENTE ZEUGE’ ON SYNAPTIC CLIFFS

A Dense Transmission of Electro-Cognition, Machine Funk and Unrealised Futures Lands via Synaptic Cliffs

Synaptic Cliffs welcomes the return of pdqb with 'DER TRANSIENTE ZEUGE', an ambitious 17-track double vinyl release.

Spanning 13 original productions and four heavyweight remixes, the project continues pdqb's relentless exploration of futuristic Electro, fractured machine funk and cerebral rhythmic experimentation, presented through the artist's unmistakable 'Electro-Cognition' lens.

Rather than following a traditional club record structure, 'DER TRANSIENTE ZEUGE' unfolds like a fragmented transmission recovered from another dimension. Across the project, sharp electro pulses, twitching drum programming, synthetic bass pressure and glitched melodic fragments collide in constantly shifting forms. Some tracks arrive as tightly coiled dancefloor weapons built around robotic groove and precision rhythm design, while others drift into more abstract territory, resembling corrupted broadcasts from collapsing timelines or half-remembered dreams.

There is an intentional unpredictability running throughout the record. Tracks mutate rapidly between machine-driven intensity and surreal atmospheric detours, often within the space of only a few minutes. The sequencing feels less like a collection of standalone cuts and more like navigating a malfunctioning neural network, where fractured breaks, metallic percussion, distorted synth transmissions and body-moving low-end all fight for control in real time.

The conceptual framework behind the release pushes even further into science fiction territory. Framed around the idea of a so-called "Transient Witness"—a synthetic entity recording not what happened, but what almost happened—the album imagines forgotten futures, erased thoughts and unrealised possibilities translated directly into sound. Basslines emerge from parallel selves. Rhythms arrive from decisions never taken. Melodies flicker briefly before dissolving into static. It is dense, immersive and deliberately disorientating without ever losing its physical dancefloor energy.

The remix package reinforces the project's weight within global Electro and underground electronic culture. Legendary figures including Egyptian Lover and Felix Da Housecat each deliver radically different reinterpretations, twisting pdqb's source material into new forms while preserving the project's machine-led identity. Additional remixes from Umwelt and Sniper Mode further deepen the record's dystopian atmosphere through harder-edged rhythmic experimentation and precision-engineered Electro pressure.

Beyond the music itself, the physical edition reflects the project's immersive scope. Pressed across silver-coloured double vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve featuring artwork from visionary Austrian artist Thomas Feuerstein, the release carries a fully realised visual and sonic identity. Mastering comes courtesy of renowned engineer Mike Grinser, whose work adds further depth and clarity to the project's intricate low-end architecture and synthetic detail.

With 'DER TRANSIENTE ZEUGE', pdqb continues to push deeper into its own strange and highly distinctive sonic universe, creating music that feels simultaneously futuristic, physical and psychologically immersive. It is a project wired directly into the subconscious, built not simply to soundtrack dancefloors, but to challenge perception itself.

pdqb's 'DER TRANSIENTE ZEUGE' will be released on double vinyl via Synaptic Cliffs on 26th June 2026.
