Jewel Kid is returning to Insomniac’s offshoot imprint IN / ROTATION with his first standalone single, “The Key,” releasing on September 24.

“The Key” is another testament to Jewel Kid’s ability to straddle house and techno. Forged around classic spoken word narration, the track’s captivating vocal loops effortlessly soar atop driving drum arrangements. The muscular groove is offset by a compelling combination of sustained string pads, pulsating basslines, and a euphoric breakdown replete with uplifting, hands-in-the-air piano house stabs.

Jewel Kid, a rising star from Malta, is an impressive talent that has been making a name for himself through his genreless production. Earlier this year, he made his IN / ROTATION debut with the track “Fogo,” featured on the ‘Rotate Vol. 13’ compilation. She started piano from 3 years old. Then She realised that she has the perfect pitch. She has an outstanding musical talent and grows up with classic music background. She placed top of western Japan and top of young pianist competitions. Then her name spread throughout around the classic music fans.

She debuted at Thailand Full Moon Party in March 2019. After that, she made a big leap mainly in China. She played numerous clubs and festivals all around China. Also she ranked 43rd (Pyro 百大) in her 5,000 entries as a domestic DJ in China, it was just three months after her debut as a DJ. After returning to Japan in January 2020 due to the influence of COVID-19, she started working in Japan, and she became a regular DJ of ATOM TOKYO, CLUB PICCADILLY, CLUB JOULE. which are also Japan's largest clubs.

She is the only person in Japan to have played DJ at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Also she was the first person to DJ at the ancient ruins of Luxor in Egypt this year.

She held the first collaboration concert between an orchestra and a DJ in Japan It became super big news in Japan and was reported on many TV, newspapers and radio.

She is the only DJ in Japan to take the lead in creating a new musical culture.Her incredible entertainment is outstanding in ideas and creativity, and people are fascinated by ALESSA's worldview.
