Jewel Kid is returning to Insomniac’s offshoot imprint IN / ROTATION with his first standalone single, “The Key,” releasing on September 24.
“The Key” is another testament to Jewel Kid’s ability to straddle house and techno. Forged around classic spoken word narration, the track’s captivating vocal loops effortlessly soar atop driving drum arrangements. The muscular groove is offset by a compelling combination of sustained string pads, pulsating basslines, and a euphoric breakdown replete with uplifting, hands-in-the-air piano house stabs.

He is the Winner of the Carl Cox Worldwide Remix Competition held by Beatport for “Best House Remix” and Awarded “Best Dance Production” at the Malta Music Awards. Conductor of numerous tracks in Beatport’s Top 10 Charts, Jewel Kid has signed music with A-Class record labels such as Toolroom, Cr2, Glasgow Underground, Abode, Nervous, Tronic, Suara, and many others.
