EVENT REVIEW

Having a sold-out show on a weekday is special. The crowd, the music, the fans. The show was just magical. On February 12th, Monolink started off his North American tour in Toronto and curated a live set from start to finish.  It was my first time seeing him live, and to experience this magic was incredible.

Monolink’s The Beauty Of It All Tour felt less like a conventional concert and more like a shared emotional journey. From the moment Monolink stepped on stage, there was an immediate sense of intimacy, despite the production's scale. The opening track, ‘Beacon,’ just had me in awe with the curtain drop and live vocals. His ability to blend live vocals, guitar, and electronic textures created a soundscape that was both expansive and deeply personal, drawing the audience into a space where time seemed to slow.

What truly set the night apart was the balance between precision and vulnerability. The production was immersive without being overwhelming: warm lighting, subtle visuals, and carefully paced builds allowed each track to breathe. Rather than chasing constant peaks, the set flowed organically, moving between hypnotic grooves and quiet, reflective moments. You could feel the crowd listening as much as dancing, an unspoken agreement to be present rather than distracted. Some notable tracks played outside of the album ‘The Beauty Of It All’ Tour were ‘Sirens’, ‘ Otherside’ and ‘Light Up My Dark.’

By the end of the show, ‘The Beauty Of It All’ Tour lived up to its name. It wasn’t just about flawless sound or technical mastery (though both were there); it was about the connection between artist and audience, between movement and stillness, and between joy. Monolink reminded everyone in the room that electronic music can be soulful, human, and profoundly moving when it’s delivered with honesty. If the goal was to make people feel something real, the tour succeeded beautifully. At the end of the show, he asked the audience what track to close off the night, and everyone screamed ‘Father Ocean, ’ a track from his earlier years, which closed off the night on a high note for everyone. Also wanted to give a thanks to Rave Baddie Daddy for joining and experiencing such a phenomenal show. I have also shared his review below So be sure to check it out!!.
