S. SALTER HAVE UNVEILED THE REWORK OF "GROVE," A STANDOUT TRACK FROM THEIR DEBUT ALBUM "JUUN"

Available now, the reimagined version takes listeners on a mesmerizing journey through neo-classic and experimental techno landscapes, marking a significant evolution from its predecessor.

The rework of "Grove" has been meticulously crafted over a year, with S. Salter fine-tuning elements after countless studio sessions and live performances. While the original composition of "Grove" was characterized by its poignant piano melodies, field recordings, and subtle rhythmic undertones, the rework delves deeper into S. Salter's electronic influences, particularly inspired by Jeremia.

In this rendition, the original piano composition undergoes a transformative process, resampled and meticulously processed through a tape machine, resulting in a fresh and dynamic variation. Emphasizing rhythmic elements and a heightened electronic ambiance, the rework maintains the integrity of the original while ushering in a new era of sonic exploration. "The story of the track is guided by synthesizer sounds, rhythmic grooves, and some piano sparkles from a live recording," shares S. Salter, offering insight into the creative process behind the rework.

"Grove" holds a special significance for S. Salter, as it draws inspiration from the artist's childhood memories spent at their grandparents' house, also named Grove. This familial connection serves as a cornerstone for the project, influencing not only track names but also musical direction and ethos.

Looking ahead, S. Salter is set to embark on a series of full AV performances across Europe, kicking off with a show at Khroma Berlin in late March. These performances promise to immerse audiences in a multisensory experience, further elevating S. Salter's innovative approach to live music. Additionally, the artist is deep in the production of their highly anticipated second album, which builds upon the sonic landscapes established in "Juun."
