MINISTRY OF SOUND HEADS TO KOH SAMUI FOR NEW YEAR’S EVE WITH HONEYLUV AND PATRICK MASON

HoneyLuv and Patrick Mason lead Ministry of Sound’s New Year’s Eve takeover at Club SEEN, with Jesse P opening the night

Ministry of Sound will see out 2026 in Koh Samui this New Year’s Eve, taking over beachfront venue Club SEEN from 8pm until 2am for a special celebration headlined by US house artist HoneyLuv and Berlin DJ and producer Patrick Mason, with Jesse P opening the night.

The event concludes Ministry of Sound’s 35th Anniversary World Tour, which has taken the iconic British dance music brand across the world, including Dubai, Ibiza, Miami, Helsinki, Bali and more. The Koh Samui takeover brings the anniversary celebrations to a close with a line-up built for the dancefloor.

Jesse P will open the night, returning to Club SEEN after joining Ministry of Sound’s Koh Samui takeover earlier this year as part of the brand’s Thailand run, which also included dates in Phuket and Bali. He will set the tone for the evening before Cleveland-born DJ and producer HoneyLuv takes over with her signature blend of house and tech house. HoneyLuv will then join forces with Patrick Mason for a special back-to-back set running over midnight and into the first hours of 2027, before Mason takes over solo to close the night. Known for his expressive, genre-fluid approach to house and techno, Mason brings a high-impact and unpredictable style to the dancefloor, with the B2B offering a meeting of two distinctive contemporary club sounds as Ministry of Sound enters its 36th year.

Set on Chaweng Beach, Club SEEN provides the backdrop for the celebration, bringing Ministry of Sound’s dancefloor-first approach to one of Koh Samui’s best-known nightlife destinations. The retro-inspired beachfront venue is known for its day-to-night format, sunset sessions and international DJ programme.

The collaboration follows Ministry of Sound’s previous Club SEEN appearance in June, as part of its wider Thailand programme alongside a show at Illuzion Phuket. This New Year’s Eve return marks the brand’s biggest Koh Samui date to date, bringing its 35th Anniversary World Tour to a close as the clock strikes midnight and 2027 begins.

AYÁ FESTIVAL REVEALS NEW YEAR'S EVE LINEUP WITH CASSY, CHEZ DAMIER, SATOSHI TOMIIE, SWEELY, AHMED SPINS, BRUNELLO AND MORE FOR SIX DAYS ON BRAZIL’S CEARÁ COAST

The 2,000-capacity festival returns for its third edition to the coast near Jericoacoara National Park, 27 December 2026 to 1 January 2027

Boutique art and music festival AYÁ reveals its line-up as it returns to Brazil’s north-eastern coast from 27 December 2026 to 1 January 2027. Bringing six days of electronic music, art and outdoor experiences to the coastal destinations of Jericoacoara, Preá and Barrinha, the festival will welcome up to 2,000 guests for three open-bar party nights across five stages, alongside a wider programme of daytime wellness sessions and seminars, all included with the full festival pass.

The newly announced lineup features a mix of established underground names and forward-thinking selectors, including deep house pioneer Chez Damier, Berlin regular Cassy, Japanese house legend Satoshi Tomiie, French minimal and house favourite Sweely alongside headliners Brunello and Ahmed Spins.

Brought to life by Portuguese electronic music collective Yard and experiential festival group Immersion Community, AYÁ is built around a collaborative approach to festival culture, prioritising creative expression, connection and community. Its music programme unfolds across five stages, including the main AYÁ Stage and four independently curated Burning Man camps including Tierra Bomba, Kazbah, Favela and Sacbé. Each camp brings its own creative identity and musical direction, creating intimate spaces for discovery and connection between artists, organisers and festival-goers.

Beyond the music, AYÁ invites guests to experience the distinctive landscapes and culture of Brazil's north-eastern coastline. Jericoacoara, known for its sandy streets, independent restaurants, artisan ateliers and spectacular sunsets, provides the area's cultural heart. Nearby Preá is renowned for its expansive beaches and world-class kitesurfing conditions, while Barrinha offers a quieter setting of rolling dunes, freshwater lagoons and natural pools.

The full pass offers a blended experience, including the open bar, 24 hour parties taking place on the 27th, 29th and 31st, alongside the daytime wellness sessions and seminars. For those looking to deepen their experience, guests are able to book additional activities at extra cost such as guided tours, ATV and buggy excursions through the dunes and trails, kitesurfing and skydiving. Together, these experiences, alongside the independently curated camps and art-led programming, cultivate shared moments where music, nature, creativity and community become as important as the music itself.

More than a New Year's Eve celebration, AYÁ is an intimate meeting point for international electronic music culture and independent creative communities, offering a boutique festival experience shaped by its people, art and extraordinary Brazilian setting.

Full passes, covering all nighttime parties with open bar and the daytime wellness and seminar programme, are on sale now at https://www.ingresse.com/aya-music-arts-festival-nye-2026/

ESCAPE PSYCHO CIRCUS ANNOUNCES RETURN TO NOS EVENTS CENTER FOR 2027

North America’s largest Halloween dance music festival returns for its 17th year, following the successful 2026 edition.

Two-day GA, GA+, and 21+ VIP tickets to Escape Psycho Circus 2027 will be available for purchase beginning Thursday, November 5 at 12pm PT on EscapeHalloween.com.

After another successful edition, the global dance music experience curator Insomniac today announces the return of Escape Psycho Circus, set to take place in San Bernardino from Friday, October 29th to Saturday, October 30th, 2027. The festival will once again take over the NOS Events Center, providing the tried and true backdrop for the two-night horror-themed event.

Since its debut in 2011 as Escape From Wonderland, the festival has evolved through multiple iterations, including Escape: All Hallows Eve and the classic Escape Halloween. The event has since grown into North America’s largest Halloween music festival, bringing together electronic music programming, interactive haunted areas, large-scale art installations, and costumed performers at the NOS Events Center each October. The 2027 edition will see the return of beloved themed zones, including Voodoo Ville, Crazy Town, Psycho Circus, and Fair of Lost Souls.

Friday’s programming brought together a range of dance music styles, from the house sounds of Adam Ten, Cloonee, and KREAM to the high-energy hard dance of Darren Styles and MORTEN. Italian dance music veteran Benny Benassi brought instantly recognizable sound to the festival, while established festival acts Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nervo, and Steve Aoki delivered hard-hitting sets. Bass music took its fill with sets from Excision, Getter, Kai Wachi, and Level Up, while Jamie Jones B2B Franky Rizardo and Joseph Capriati B2B SOSA brought together prominent names in house and techno for special collaborative sets. The day also saw the Escape debut of a stage hosted by Mutate, Insomniac’s hard dance imprint. Featured artists included AZYR, Cera Khin, Clara Cuvé, Morelia, Kloud, Trancemaster Krause,  and Trym.

Saturday continued with a lineup spanning house, bass, techno, and crossover sounds. Dance music heavyweight Zedd and hip-hop icons  Ja Rule and Too $hort led the day alongside Dabin and Galantis, whose melodic, festival-ready sounds have become staples worldwide. House music was featured prominently through sets from Disco Lines and OMNOM, while bass acts Adventure Club, Liquid Stranger, and Dr. Fresch brought heavier sounds to the programming. On the techno side, Italian DJ and producer duo 999999999 delivered high-intensity acid techno, while psy-trance and techno mavens Indira Paganotto and Nina Kraviz led the charge at Factory 93’s The Cage stage.

Insomniac’s stage hosts included Basscon, Bassrush, Factory 93, Night Trip, and Insomniac Records, representing a range of sounds and styles across the festival. Additional brand hosts included community-forward collective AfterTraxx and LA mainstay VEOP Group taking the reins on the Danse Macabre stage.

Two-day GA, GA+, and 21+ VIP tickets for Escape Psycho Circus 2027 will be available for purchase beginning Thursday, November 5 at 12pm PT on EscapeHalloween.com. For more information, visit Escape: Psycho Circus’ official website.
