L’CORE TEAMS UP WITH Q.U.A.K.E AND AD:86 FOR ‘MOVE’ ON LATE EXIT

The latest release on L’CORE’s label brings together returning collaborator Q.U.A.K.E and label debutant AD:86 for a groove-driven cut built for the dancefloor.

L’CORE continues to build momentum with ‘Move’, a new collaboration with Q.U.A.K.E and AD:86, arriving on his burgeoning Late Exit imprint. Driven by a deep, rolling groove, sharp synth work and commanding vocal hooks, the track is built around a clear dancefloor focus, balancing sustained momentum with a tension-building breakdown designed to make an impact in the club.

Available from October 22, ‘Move’ draws on the energy of the Indie Dance spectrum, pairing an extended arrangement with a direct, rhythm-led approach. Its vocal refrain provides an immediate focal point, while the production gradually builds pressure before opening into a moment of release. Made for extended DJ sets and late-night dancefloors, it delivers a confident blend of groove, tension and peak-time energy.

For L’CORE, the release continues the development of Late Exit as a platform for collaborations and forward-facing club music. The Las Vegas-based DJ and producer has spent 2026 expanding his international presence through new music, performances and a growing roster of projects under the Late Exit banner. With a sound shaped by House, Techno and Afro House, his work across the label reflects a wider vision centred on club-ready productions and collaborations that bring distinct creative identities together.

Q.U.A.K.E returns to Late Exit for his third release on the label, following previous collaborations with L’CORE on ‘Across The Floor’ and ‘Take Me Over’, the latter alongside Soofnic. Known for his work within the international electronic music scene, Q.U.A.K.E has developed a catalogue of releases and collaborations with artists including Space Motion, Stylo, Braev, David Lindmer, Emiliano Demarco and Aaron Suiss. His continued involvement with Late Exit reinforces an established creative connection with L’CORE, now carried forward into a new collaborative chapter.

For AD:86, ‘Move’ marks a debut on Late Exit, introducing the artist to the label’s expanding catalogue. The collaboration brings all three artists together around a shared dancefloor sensibility, with the track’s focused arrangement and driving groove placing it firmly in peak-time territory.

The release lands as L’CORE preps for a busy week at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), with four appearances scheduled across the city over the course of the week. Moving between MEWE on October 21, 50:Hertz on October 22, Lelantus Train on October 23 and Oliva on October 25, the Las Vegas-based DJ and producer will bring his groove-driven sound to a packed programme of club shows during one of the electronic music calendar’s biggest annual gatherings.

MXGPU RETURN TO DISCOTEXAS WITH NEW SINGLE ‘LAGGED OUT’

Following their sold-out Live Under Lisbon event and the release of their ‘Live Over Porto’ set from Primavera Sound, the Portuguese duo deliver a fast, minimal, peak-time cut ahead of their upcoming Gardens of Babylon appearance at ADE.

MXGPU, the collaborative project of Portuguese artists Moullinex and GPU Panic, return to their home label Discotexas today with their new single, ‘Lagged Out’. A high-energy melodic house track built for the intensity of the dancefloor, the release follows September's ‘All The Love’ as the duo continue to expand the sonic world of their debut album, Sudden Light, through a sound increasingly shaped by their immersive live performances.

One of MXGPU’s most minimal productions to date, ‘Lagged Out’ pairs a stripped-back approach with relentless forward momentum. Already a fan favourite during the duo’s peak-time sets, the track captures the tension, pace and physical energy at the heart of their hybrid live performances.

Speaking about the release, MXGPU explain:

“One of our most minimal tracks, and also one of the fastest… its DNA is peak time energy, made purposefully for our hybrid sets.”

The single arrives following the release of Live Over Porto, a full-length performance film captured during MXGPU’s appearance at Primavera Sound Porto in June 2026. Filmed in a single take while the duo performed suspended above the festival’s main-stage dancefloor, the recording pushed their distinctive 360° live format into one of its most ambitious settings yet.

With the audience gathered beneath and around their elevated triangular structure, the performance embodied the project’s ongoing exploration of electronic music, architecture and collective experience.

MXGPU Take Electronic Music Underground With ‘Live Under Lisbon’

On October 10, MXGPU brought their vision of immersive electronic performance to an avant-garde setting with Live Under Lisbon, a sold-out event at Hidden Metro Olaias in the Portuguese capital.

Conceived and curated by the duo, the event transformed a hidden part of Lisbon’s metro infrastructure into a temporary club, bringing together more than eight hours of music and performances. The programme featured Adriana Ruas, Isadora (Live), Madd Rod, Sainte Vie (Live) and MXGPU (Live), creating a meeting point for electronic music, performance and the city’s creative community.

Continuing the duo’s interest in taking music beyond traditional club and festival settings, Live Under Lisbon extended their exploration of how architecture and space can reshape the relationship between performers and audiences. From performing above the Tagus River in 2025 to their elevated appearance at Primavera Sound Porto earlier this year, MXGPU have consistently reimagined the spaces in which their music is experienced. The sold-out Lisbon event marked another significant moment for the project, bringing this approach back to their home city.

MXGPU at Gardens of Babylon ADE

MXGPU’s international run continues this Sunday, October 25, as the duo bring their signature 360° live show to Gardens of Babylon’s ‘The Seekers of Light’ showcase in Amsterdam, as part of the official Amsterdam Dance Event programme. Taking place at WestWeelde, the performance is scheduled for 20:30–22:00.

The Gardens of Babylon’s annual ADE showcase brings together electronic music, art, performance and community across an immersive multi-day experience. MXGPU will join the programme with their 360° live performance, bringing their signature triangular structure and audience-surrounding format to the Amsterdam dancefloor.

MXGPU is the collaborative project of Portuguese artists Moullinex (Luís Clara Gomes) and GPU Panic (Guilherme Tomé Ribeiro). Producers, songwriters and performers, the duo explore the intersection of electronic music, technology, performance art and immersive experience, bringing together their distinct creative identities in a shared musical vision rooted in Lisbon, Portugal.

Their collaboration developed through Innerchild, a project that established the creative foundations for their debut album, Sudden Light, released on Discotexas in September 2025. Its deluxe edition expanded the album’s universe with remixes from artists including Xinobi, JOPLYN and Sam Shure, while the duo’s wider catalogue spans releases on Crosstown Rebels, Watergate, Get Physical, TAU and Discotexas.

At the heart of MXGPU is an evolving 360° live experience that dissolves the conventional boundary between artist and audience. Built around their signature triangular structure, their performances combine sound, lighting, visuals and spatial design to create an immersive environment that places the crowd at the centre of the action. The duo have brought this format to audiences across Europe, Asia, North America and South America, with appearances at major events including Primavera Sound, Tomorrowland and Amsterdam Dance Event.

Their music has received support from influential artists including Chris Lake, Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Keinemusik, LP Giobbi, RÜFÜS DU SOL and WhoMadeWho, alongside remix contributions from Patrice Bäumel. Their work has also been featured by Ableton, EARMILK, KCRW, Triple J, SiriusXM Diplo’s Revolution and SoundCloud Sound Advice, with editorial playlist support across Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.

ANGARA RELEASE TITLE TRACK FROM FORTHCOMING DEBUT ALBUM BEFORE WE FORGET

Teaming up with UK artist bailey, the French duo return with an emotive new single, and announce their long-awaited debut album due for release in February 2027.

Rising French electronic duo Angara release Before We Forget – a new collaboration with London-based singer-songwriter bailey, and the title track from their forthcoming debut album on Embassy One. The release marks the latest chapter in the duo’s evolving creative journey on the Berlin-based label, following Out at Sea and Forgive You, and arrives alongside the announcement that their debut album, Before We Forget, which will be released in February 2027.

Built around a euphoric groove, immersive textures and Angara’s signature melodic sensitivity, Before We Forget brings together the emotional depth that has defined the duo’s music with an increasingly pronounced focus. Atmospheric and introspective, yet driven by a steady sense of propulsion, the track captures a feeling of nostalgia and impermanence while remaining firmly rooted in the rapturous emotion of the club.

Taking its title from the album, the single became the first track Angara knew would form part of the record. Rather than serving as a blueprint for the album, however, it came to represent the emotional starting point from which the wider project would emerge.

Speaking about the single, Angara commented:

"Before We Forget is about the presence of a loved one you never actually met. Someone built entirely from other people's stories, who somehow keeps growing closer instead of fading away. You end up carrying them without ever having known them, naively doing things you hope they'd be proud of. It was the first track we knew would be on the album, not because everything else was written around it, but because it was the feeling we wanted to start with : A chapter about not knowing yet but going anyway."

The single follows Angara’s two previous releases on Embassy One, beginning with Out at Sea featuring Austrian vocalist Ren Ocean in late 2025. The cinematic single introduced a new creative chapter for the duo, exploring themes of first love, freedom and connection through glowing melodic layers and hypnotic percussion.

Earlier this year, Angara followed with Forgive You, a more club-focused cut featuring a vocal sample from Estonian-Swiss vocalist and songwriter Ingrid Lukas. Driven by a forward-pushing groove, the track explored reconciliation, emotional release and the transition from tension to peace, further establishing the balance between introspection and dancefloor momentum that runs through their work.

Now, Before We Forget opens the door to the wider world of Angara’s debut album. Created over the course of three years, the record brings together songs written during markedly different periods of the duo’s lives. Rather than following a linear progression, the album moves between different emotional states: the discovery of identity, its unravelling, and the process of learning to live with what remains.

Speaking about the upcoming album, Angara commented:

“Before We Forget moves between three states: discovering who you are for the first time, watching that unravel, and learning to live with what's left of it. We spent three years on it, and some of these songs were written in very different periods of our lives. That's why those states come back out of order in the album, the way they do in life. The title came last, once we saw that every track was trying to do the same thing: hold onto yourself while everything around you changes.”

For Angara, the album represents the culmination of years spent developing their distinctive approach to electronic music. Since their breakout Rwanda EP on Monstercat Silk in 2021, the French duo have amassed over 70 million streams worldwide and brought their immersive sound to stages across Europe. With Before We Forget, Angara expand that sonic world into their most ambitious project yet: an album about discovering yourself, losing parts of that identity and finding a way to carry them forward. At its heart is the same impulse that drives the title track: to hold onto something meaningful before it disappears, while continuing to move into the unknown.
