EDX RELEASES ‘ECHOES’ WITH OREM ON SIRUP MUSIC

Swiss-Italian electronic music powerhouse EDX joins forces with acclaimed vocalist Orem for ‘Echoes’, a timeless club record blending his iconic sound with a fresh, modern edge.

Swiss-Italian multi-hyphenate EDX returns to the forefront of electronic music with ‘Echoes’, his latest single on Sirup Music, featuring the otherworldly vocals of Orem.

Fusing EDX’s unmistakable production style with Orem’s atmospheric vocal presence, ‘Echoes’ strikes a balance between nostalgia and contemporary club energy. Deep basslines, floor-filling synths and alluring vocal textures come together to create a record that feels both familiar and forward-thinking –  a dancefloor-ready production with an enduring emotional core.

At the heart of ‘Echoes’ is a universal theme: the human desire for connection. As Orem explains:

“It’s a record that talks about being human and of our everlasting pursuit for connection. Putting that into a dance record with EDX feels so perfect – the dance community enacts its own communion in many ways, people reach out to one another and they let down their armour.”

The collaboration arrives at a pivotal moment for Orem, who has rapidly established herself as one of electronic music’s most compelling voices. Despite having only a handful of releases, she has already surpassed half a million monthly Spotify listeners, while her catalogue has accumulated more than 300 million streams. Her impressive list of collaborators includes ATB, R3HAB, Nu Aspect, IMANU, Le Youth, Lane 8, ZHU, Boris Brejcha and Dimension.

For EDX, ‘Echoes’ continues an exceptional run of releases and global dancefloor support. The track follows his recent club-focused single ‘Equinox’, which earned support from heavyweight names including Oliver Heldens, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren and Sultan + Shepard.

It also follows EDX’s Miami Music Week 2026 anthem ‘Atmosphere’, his collaboration with Julia Temos. The track received spins from Nora En Pure, Ferry Corsten, R3HAB and Cosmic Gate, before being crowned one of the most supported tracks worldwide by 1001 Tracklists.

With ‘Echoes’, EDX once again demonstrates his ability to evolve while staying true to the sound that has made him a mainstay of the global electronic scene. Pairing timeless dance music sensibilities with contemporary production and Orem’s evocative vocals, the result is a record built for both the peak-time dancefloor and the moments of connection that happen beyond it.

RÉVEILLON CARNEIROS CELEBRATES 10 YEARS WITH BLACK COFFEE, MICHAEL BIBI, ANOTR AND JAMIE JONES

Brazilian New Year’s festival returns to Praia dos Carneiros from 26 December 2026 to 2 January 2027 with 94 acts, three stages and a new Wellness Club

Réveillon Carneiros will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an eight-day edition on Brazil’s northeast coast when it returns to Praia dos Carneiros in Pernambuco from 26 December 2026 to 2 January 2027.

The anniversary edition plays out under the theme of The Eternal Now, reflecting on ten years of the festival and the meeting point between past, present and future: the now. At a time when attention is constantly being pulled elsewhere, the theme asks a simple question: Are you here now?

The festival brings together 94 acts across electronic and Brazilian music, spanning different scenes and generations. Black Coffee, Michael Bibi, ANOTR and Jamie Jones lead a lineup that also includes Jimi Jules, Kerri Chandler, Mau P, Monolink, WhoMadeWho, Hot Since 82, Carlita and Franky Rizardo.

The programme also features a series of special back-to-back sets, including Adriatique b2b Vintage Culture, Mochakk b2b Maz and Adam Ten b2b Mita Gami, while Brazilian music will have a key presence with Gilberto Gil performing with Gilsons, alongside forró artist João Gomes, Thiaguinho and Syon Trio.

Réveillon Carneiros will also introduce its first Wellness Club for the 2026/27 edition, created in collaboration with NOW Festival. Conceived as a daytime club with its own programme, the space will feature a sauna, ice bath and massage treatments, alongside workouts, yoga, pilates, talks and workshops. Guests will be able to come and go throughout the day, with access included with both the Full Pass and Night Pass. The existing Ritual programme will also return, offering meditation, sound healing and other wellness sessions throughout the festival.

As part of its 10-year celebration, Réveillon Carneiros expands to three stages, with the new Labryinto Stage joining the Main Stage and Trópico Stage. Created in collaboration with Labryinto, the collective behind gatherings in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, the new stage will combine electronic music with its own approach to architecture and production.

The Main Stage will host the festival’s larger-scale performances, while the Trópico Stage will offer a more intimate setting with a house-focused programme. Across the three spaces, the festival will present different musical directions throughout its five Night Celebrations.

The Night Celebrations run from 10pm to 6am, with New Year’s Eve extending from 8pm to 8am. Both the Full Pass and Night Pass include an open bar and food throughout the night, with food served by Arcádia.

The programme continues at Mouton Beach Club, with six sunset parties running from 4pm to 10pm. Villa Mouton serves as a central meeting point throughout the experience, bringing together services and conveniences across the eight days.

The 2026/27 edition marks a decade since Réveillon Carneiros first launched in Pernambuco. Over that period, the festival has developed from a local New Year’s celebration into an international event, with the previous edition welcoming guests from 68 countries and every state in Brazil.

Ten years after its first New Year’s celebration in Carneiros, the festival returns to where it began, looking back at its history while asking what it means to be present now.

THE AVENER REIMAGINES JEANETTE’S TIMELESS CLASSIC ‘PORQUE TE VAS’ INTO SUN-SOAKED FRENCH TOUCH ANTHEM

French electronic maestro Tristan Casara, known globally as The Avener, is set to heat up the autumn months with a vibrant new rework of Jeanette’s timeless classic, ‘Porque Te Vas’. Releasing on October 9, 2026, via Capitol and 96 Musique, the track sees the celebrated producer putting his signature spin on the legendary melody.

Masterfully turning the beloved original into an irresistible invitation to dance, The Avener blends the track’s instantly recognisable acoustic charm with driving electronic energy and sun-soaked grooves. The feel-good single serves as a thrilling preview of his highly anticipated forthcoming album, perfectly tailored for both global dancefloors and curated playlists alike.

This latest offering is a natural progression of The Avener’s sweeping 2026 artistic renewal, marking a return to his first love: pure club culture. Highly influenced by the golden era of French Touch pioneers like Daft Punk, Cassius, and Stardust, Casara is embracing a powerful ideal inherited from disco: creating music designed to make bodies connect and emotions flow. Much like his recent collaboration "Starlight" alongside house legend Ultra Naté, his fresh take on ‘Porque Te Vas’ explores a heavily dance-oriented territory while maintaining the ambitious harmonies and refined production that define his work. It is music created to be fully experienced, where sophistication and accessibility coexist naturally.

The elegance of The Avener’s sound is rooted deeply in his unique musical upbringing, which began with rigorous classical training at a conservatory in Nice. By age 14, he was splitting his time between disciplined daytime studies and nighttime immersions in the city's vibrant club scene, absorbing funk, disco, and house firsthand. This rare fusion of classical foundation and underground energy laid the groundwork for his historic 2015 breakthrough, with the global hit ‘Fade Out Lines’ which Francis Mercier remixed and celebrated together at Hi Ibiza earlier this year. That debut single skyrocketed him from local DJ booths to major international festival stages, cementing his status as a leading figure in the "French Touch 2.0" wave alongside artists like Kungs and Feder.

Since that meteoric rise, The Avener has amassed a staggering three billion streams, earned multi-platinum certifications in over 10 countries, and even secured a coveted spot on Barack and Michelle Obama’s highly influential playlist. Now, with ‘Porque Te Vas’ and his upcoming album project, he opens an exciting new chapter that honors the dancefloor culture that first inspired him.
