Insomniac’s Skyline Festival announces its 2027 edition, returning to its newly established home of Ace*Mission in downtown Los Angeles from February 27 – February 28, 2027. Produced by Insomniac’s Factory 93, the sixth edition of Skyline will once again welcome internationally acclaimed artists spanning all corners of electronic music alongside the city’s rising talent in the heart of Los Angeles.

Over the past five years, Skyline has carved out a distinct identity at the intersection of Los Angeles’ deep-rooted underground culture and the global dance music community. Central to that evolution has been a commitment to bridging world-renowned artists together with homegrown talent, sounds, communities, and creative energy that shape the city’s underground. In 2026, this ethos was brought into focus with international acts including Richie Hawtin, Ben UFO, Avalon Emerson, The Blessed Madonna B2B HAAi, Marco Carola B2B Chris Stassy, VTSS, and KI/KI, while LA scene-shapers including Juliet Mendoza, Victor Rodriguez B2B Perfect Lovers, Mez Monty, CQUESTT, and Mesmé were represented on the festival’s beloved, community-driven Arts District stage.

Following the successful debut of Ace*Mission as Skyline’s host venue in 2026, the festival returns to the expansive Los Angeles venue for its 2027 edition. With its industrial character, dual open-air and warehouse settings, and deep connection to the city’s creative and emerging communities, Ace*Mission proved to be a natural fit for Skyline and the festival’s forward-thinking approach to electronic music and culture.

Building on the energy and atmosphere of last year’s inaugural edition at the venue, Skyline looks forward to returning to its new home and continuing to create a singular experience that reflects the spirit of Los Angeles. For 2027, the festival will expand its warehouse presence with two indoor stages this edition, while bringing back its vinyl market featuring local LA record shops, further spotlighting the city’s local businesses and music community.

Skyline’s West Side, East Side, Arts District, and Downtown stages will once again shape the festival’s 2027 landscape, with underground electronic culture platform Resident Advisor returning as a stage host. Together, the spaces reflect the diverse environments that have long shaped the Los Angeles underground, moving between open-air settings and the industrial interiors synonymous with the city’s electronic music culture. Across the weekend, Skyline will deliver more than twelve hours of music per day and feature over sixty artists, while official afterparties will continue the experience inside the Ace*Mission warehouse, with details and on-sale information to be announced closer to the event.

Two-day GA and two-day Stage Access festival passes will be available for purchase beginning October 16 at 12pm PT. Fans can also get early access through the Ticket Presale starting October 16 at 11am PT by signing up here.

Skyline Festival is a 21+ event.

MINISTRY OF SOUND, ALPHA INDUSTRIES AND CHEMICAL X REUNITE TO CREATE 35 LIMITED EDITION BOMBER JACKETS

The signed and numbered jackets launch exclusively at Dover Street Market during Frieze Week

Ministry of Sound has reunited with Alpha Industries and artist Chemical X for a limited-edition bomber jacket that brings together three names connected by the club’s history. Launching at Dover Street Market during Frieze Week, the special edition comprises just 35 hand-numbered and signed jackets, available exclusively in the London store.

In 1991, Ministry of Sound commissioned Alpha Industries to produce MA-1 bomber jackets for its doormen, featuring the now-iconic logo designed by artist Chemical X. Never available to buy, the jackets became closely associated with the club and a sought-after piece of its early identity.

“If you were wearing one, you were part of the club, and because you couldn’t buy one, people wanted them even more.” - Alpha Industries

More than three decades later, Ministry of Sound has reunited with Alpha Industries and Chemical X to revisit the original design through a limited-edition release of 35 bomber jackets. Each jacket features bespoke embroidery by Chemical X, drawing on the evolution of the Ministry of Sound logo, and is individually signed and numbered. The collection launches exclusively at Dover Street Market during Frieze Week.

The launch coincides with the release of Ministry of Sound (Anthology), a new book by author and creative director Simon Moore, published by Rizzoli New York. Documenting the club’s first 35 years, the book brings together first-hand accounts from founders, DJs, dancers, designers and staff, alongside previously unpublished photography and an archive of flyers, records, tickets and other ephemera.

Landing alongside the bomber and book, Moore has designed a series of T-shirts drawing on ephemera from the club’s storied history. Graphics include a pre-opening business card bearing the club’s working title, a flyer for a mid-1990s three-city Japan tour that included Tokyo’s Liquid Room, and the operating manual for the Urei rotary mixer installed when Ministry first opened. The material comes from the personal collections of founder Justin Berkmann and former resident DJ CJ Mackintosh. The T-shirts are available online and in store at both Ministry of Sound and Dover Street Market.

The limited-edition bomber jackets are available exclusively at Dover Street Market for £275.
