AMÉMÉ WRAPS UP FIVE-WEEK DEBUT IBIZA RESIDENCY WITH RELEASE OF "CHULO"

After months in his sets and now out via Altra Moda Music, "Chulo" caps off One Tribe's first Ibiza residency

West African afro-house innovator AMÉMÉ closes out a landmark summer with the release of "Chulo" via Altra Moda Music, and the conclusion of One Tribe's debut five-week residency at Ibiza's Cova Santa. The two moments arrive together by design, capping a season that saw AMÉMÉ bring his community-first ethos to the island for the first time.

"Chulo" has spent months building anticipation before its official release, driving dancefloors across AMÉMÉ's summer sets and quickly becoming one of the most requested moments in his live shows. Its release now gives fans a studio counterpart to the track that soundtracked the summer.

Running from late July through late August, the five-week Cova Santa residency marked One Tribe's first dedicated home on the island, featuring diverse lineups that blended fresh voices with established artists inside the venue's intimate, open-air setting. Having included artists such as Honeyluv, Kitty Amor, Da Capo, LP Giobbi, Coco & Breezy, and more - the residency stands as a major milestone for the collective, following major showcases in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, and New York.

For Hubert Sodogandji, known globally as AMÉMÉ, the road to this moment started far from festival main stages. Raised in Benin, West Africa, his earliest connection to rhythm came through childhood mixtape competitions with his siblings, long before he discovered electronic music via imported French house tapes. He worked in banking before trading boardrooms for dancefloors, an analytical foundation he credits with helping him thoughtfully grow his creative community today. After buying a basic controller and teaching himself to DJ in New York, he relocated to Berlin to fully immerse himself in electronic music culture.

At the center of that journey is One Tribe, the community-driven collective AMÉMÉ launched in Brooklyn in 2017 to connect people through afro-house. What began as a grassroots event series has organically evolved into a global phenomenon and boutique record label, with the Cova Santa residency marking its most ambitious chapter yet.

What sets AMÉMÉ apart is his charismatic, magnetic booth presence, an infectious energy unmistakably felt on every dancefloor he touches. That crowd connection translates directly into his studio output, where his sound blends afro-house, tribal percussion, and deep house. Recent releases showcase his ability to bridge musical eras and cultural gaps, from the feel-good afro-house track "Wait For You" (with Franc Fala) to his 2026 reimagining of the trance anthem "Greece 2000" alongside Baggi and Three Drives.

On the road, that momentum has carried AMÉMÉ to some of the world's most renowned stages throughout 2026, including summer sets at Miami's Jungle Island, Barcelona's Brunch Electronik, the Knockdown Center in New York, and a special Pop Up on the Roof at LA-YAM in London. He has also made prominent appearances at Hï Ibiza and UNVRS alongside heavyweights including Marco Carola and David Guetta.

Whether leading a packed festival tent or commanding an intimate club room, AMÉMÉ uses rhythm as a universal language, one that carries through "Chulo" and the residency it now caps, to remind us that we are all, ultimately, One Tribe.

MIND ENTERPRISES SHARES NEW DOCUMENTARY THE STORY OF NEGRONI LOVE

Directed by Jack Barraclough

NEW FILM LOOKS BEHIND THE ITALO-DISCO DUO’S BREAKOUT RISE AHEAD OF THEIR NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

Following a breakout run that has included a successful new album, a performance at Coachella, sold-out shows, and an expanding international audience, Mind Enterprises looks back at the unlikely story behind it all in The Story of Negroni Love. The new 25-minute documentary follows Andrea Tirone and Roberto Conigliaro on the road while tracing the friendship, humor, and shared imagination that shaped the project.

Filmed during the duo’s previous tour, The Story of Negroni Love captures Mind Enterprises traveling between shows, searching for proper Italian food, slipping into character, and finding comedy in the routine of life on the road. Those moments are woven together with the story of how two longtime friends developed their own vision of Italo disco and carried it from their home base in Barcelona to an international audience.

The documentary arrives after a defining period for Mind Enterprises. Their latest album, Negroni Love, expanded the duo’s musical world through 11 tracks of late-night escapism, Mediterranean nostalgia, and playful experimentation. Its release followed their Coachella appearance and helped push the project into a new chapter, with the duo’s music and visual language reaching far beyond the early lo-fi clips that first introduced their sense of humor.

While those kitchen-table videos remain part of the backstory, The Story of Negroni Love shows the scale of what Mind Enterprises has since built: a fully realized live experience, a growing community around the music, and an aesthetic that audiences can now step inside.

Mind Enterprises will bring that world back to North America this fall, with dates including The Bellwether, Portola, Thalia Hall, Brooklyn Steel, and III Points. The tour follows an extensive international run and marks the duo’s next major North American chapter.

SACHA ROBOTTI ENLISTS DJ RAP FOR DRUM N BASS REMIX OF ‘LOOKING THROUGH THE GLASS’

From Recently Released Debut Album I, Robotti

Out Now via Dirtybird

Sacha Robotti today unveils the first official remix from his recently released debut album I, ROBOTTI. Out now via Dirtybird, British electronic music pioneer DJ Rap reimagines their collaborative track ‘Looking Through The Glass’ with a powerful liquid drum & bass take.

Originally featured on I, ROBOTTI, ‘Looking Through The Glass’ was born from DJ Rap’s experience splitting her life between the US and England while simultaneously producing and performing across jungle and house. Her liquid drum & bass remix brings that duality to the forefront, transforming the original with rolling breakbeats, lush atmospherics, and weighty low-end while her ethereal vocals float above the production. The rework offers another reflection of the track’s central theme, bridging the two sounds that have long existed side by side in DJ Rap’s career.

“I wrote ‘Looking Through the Glass’ while dividing my life between the USA and England, producing and playing both jungle and house. I was living between two countries, two cultures and two sounds. For me, this song is about duality." – DJ Rap

"I’m absolutely stoked to have collaborated with DJ Rap on ‘Looking Through The Glass’. DJ Rap is an absolute legend, and having her bring her magic vocals to the project was a real honor. I also love that she took it one step further with a drum & bass remix, re-imagining the track through her own ‘looking glass’." – Sacha Robotti

The duality at the heart of ‘Looking Through The Glass’ also mirrors the ethos of I, ROBOTTI. Reflecting on the many sounds and creative influences that have shaped Sacha’s 20-year career, the album moves fluidly across the different dimensions of his musical identity. DJ Rap’s remix adds another layer to that story, threading together the US and European sounds that have shaped both artists while highlighting their shared openness to exploring beyond genre boundaries.
