Enters debut album era announcing ‘internet niche fame’ LP

Toronto’s rising force in hyperpop Zorza has played festival stages across three continents this year. She has spent a lot of time alone between those shows too, in transit, in hotel rooms, in the hours between soundcheck and stage, working out what that actually costs her. "Motion Sick," the latest single and music video from her debut album ‘internet niche fame,’ is where both of those truths live. "Motion Sick" is an energetic hyperpop hard dance record built around soft layered vocals, intricate sound design, and synths that land with the weight of an entire tour bus. The track lives in that specific place Zorza knows well, capturing the dopamine loop of doing something you love at your absolute limit.

"This song is about feeling worn down by the travel, isolation, and the love-hate relationship I have with touring. I'm doing what I love and playing my music to people but there is a side of loneliness that hit me really hard. Writing this song really helped me understand my feelings at the time." - Zorza

Where "HAUNTED," Zorza's first album single released in July, opened the cycle with questions about online persona and the gap between who you are IRL and what you construct for the screen, "Motion Sick" grounds the story in the physical world. Two sides of the same artist, the one performing for an algorithm, and the one performing for a room full of people who found her through one.

"Motion Sick" drops as Zorza closes out a packed summer that has taken her through North America, Europe, and South America before the album lands October 30.

Zorza is a DJ and producer from Toronto shaping the new wave of hyper-techno and rave-driven club music. Her sound blends hard-hitting techno and trance with nostalgic basslines, pop-leaning melodies, and hyperpop energy, a hybrid style that has become instantly recognizable. Releases on Big Beat Records and her Hyperdream EP in 2024 positioned her as a rising global force, followed by SPF INFINI: ZORZA, a 55-minute mixed project released in 2025 featuring entirely new music alongside a visual piece directed by Laurence "Baz" Morais.

Zorza has performed at Dour Festival, Boiler Room x Teletech Manchester, Verknipt Festival, and WECANDANCE, and has shared stages with TDJ, Panteros666, Partiboi69, VTSS, and KRL MX. She founded 4ever Music to showcase emerging artists and staples in the hyper-techno, hard-dance, and trance scene.

ALPHA 9 RETURNS TO DREAMSTATE RECORDS WITH “WARNING LIGHTS” SINGLE

ALPHA 9, the concept-driven cosmic trance project spearheaded by acclaimed producer ARTY, returns to Dreamstate Records with “Warning Lights”, the third single of his ongoing 2026 release series. A progressive trance transmission steeped in cinematic suspense, the track advances the story of ALPHA 9, a genetically engineered, AI-powered government asset who returns to Earth to discover the planet on the verge of destruction; and that he may hold the key to its salvation.

 Driven by celestial arpeggios, organ-laced builds and thunderous synth sequences, “Warning Lights” unfolds like the soundtrack to an impending planetary emergency. The instrumental gradually intensifies as layers accumulate, transforming its atmospheric opening into a full-scale sonic code red as ALPHA 9 confronts the fate of humanity.

“Warning Lights” continues the evolving narrative introduced through ALPHA 9’s previous Dreamstate Records releases, “Dark Matter” and “Ascend.” The first two chapters earned coverage from EDM Tunes, Trance Attack, Midnight Dance Music, Just a Wee Music Blog, Frontview Magazine, Find Your Sounds, Radio and Music, Drop Times, Party Time Magazine, Beat for Beat and Perspective, while drawing radio support from Armin van Buuren, Andrew Rayel, Markus Schulz, AVIRA, DIM3NSION, JES and Farius.

The release also expands ALPHA 9’s immersive storytelling universe beyond the music itself. The episodic series will be accompanied by custom A9 journal entries, offering fans a deeper look into the developing narrative and the voyager’s mission, alongside a special ALPHA 9 DJ Mix that further explores the project's cosmic trance soundscape.

KIMONOS AND AMOUR PROPRE DEBUT ON NU MODA WITH TWO-TRACK RELEASE “THE CITY / ALL I WANT”

Miami-based producer duo KIMONOS and French electronic duo Amour Propre make their debut on Max Styler’s Nu Moda with their new two-track single “The City / All I Want”, bringing together two distinct takes on groove-driven electronic music. The release finds the two duos merging their respective worlds across tech house, indie dance, and melodic club music.

 Lead track “The City” takes a fierce, club-ready approach to tech house, built around a street-hardened rap vocal hook that gives the record its unmistakable attitude. Sharp percussive loops and menacing buzzsaw rolls drive the production forward, reinforced by fast-attacking rave stabs, murky arpeggiations, gritty hoover fills, and punch vocal chops. The result is a dark, high-impact club cut that pulls from indie dance while maintaining the rhythmic precision and energy of contemporary tech house.

“All I Want” offers another dimension of the collaboration, bringing the two duos’ shared affinity for melody and emotion into focus. Together, the two–track release captures the chemistry between KIMONOS and Amour Propre, whose connection began online before evolving into an exchange of demos, and eventually, a collaborative studio process.

Operating from Miami, KIMONOS are a producer duo composed of Gabriel Falanga and Omri Malka, establishing an increasingly global presence through their distinctive blend of house and techno. Their dynamic sound moves between groovy and melodic productions and darker, club-focused territory, drawing from melodic techno, and indie dance. The duo broke out with their 2019 single “En Su Lugar,” which has amassed more than 62 million streams, and have since released music alongside Ugo Banchi, Josh Gigante, and Sounds of Ritual, while delivering remixes for Samson, The Archer, and RÜFÜS DU SOL. They have a headline show at Members LA, and a show in Tokyo.

French duo Amour Propre, composed of Sami Benjelloun and Clément Guigou, have developed an emotionally charged sound informed by the legacy of French Touch, indie dance, and tech house. Their catalog includes EPs and releases on Rose Avenue (RÜFÜS DU SOL’s label), Diynamic, Abracadabra, Warner UK, and Universal, while their music has received  repeat support from BBC Radio 1 and been championed by Adriatique, Swedish House Mafia, Innellea, Black Coffee, Nora En Pure, Eli & Fur, Damian Lazarus, Cassian, Massano, and WhoMadeWho. To coincide with the release, they are embarking on their debut US Tour around the release, including three sets at Burning Man, and shows in Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco.
