CHRONOSPHERE FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FULL LINE-UP FOR ITS DEBUT EDITION IN GÓIS, PORTUGAL

Moodymann, DJ Stingray 313, Gerd Janson, HAAi, Young Marco and more play the intimate riverside festival from 18–20 September

Chronosphere Festival announces the full line-up for its debut edition, bringing a carefully curated programme of electronic music, art, nature and wellbeing to Parque de Lazer do Baião in Góis, Portugal, from 18–20 September 2026.

Across three days and one stage, Chronosphere will bring together different genres and generations of electronic music. Detroit icons Moodymann and DJ Stingray 313 lead the programme alongside Gerd Janson, HAAi, Young Marco, Dan Shake, Bambounou, Elkka, OK Williams, Marie Montexier, Nicolas Lutz and ISAbella. The line-up moves between house, techno, electro, indie dance and downtempo, creating a continuous journey designed for discovery as much as headline moments.

Set within the forests of central Portugal, approximately one hour from Coimbra, Chronosphere unfolds across the banks of the Rio Ceira. The festival’s riverside setting is embedded in the experience, with a bridge connecting both sides of the site and guests able to swim in the river’s warm, shallow waters between sets. Limited to 2,500 people, its one-stage format creates an intimate and walkable festival where the audience can follow the complete musical programme without clashes.

Accessibility for neurodivergent audiences is at the heart of the Chronosphere project. Designed for neurodivergent minds and open to everyone, the festival will feature dedicated areas for quiet time and regulation, low-stimulus spaces, noise-controlling headphones, sensory-aware planning and Safety Angels providing assistance throughout the site. Ticket buyers will be encouraged to add their needs on registration, allowing for personalised attention on site.  Reserved areas near the stage will provide more room and easier access for guests who need it.

A dedicated space with clear sightlines will also support deaf and hard-of-hearing guests, offering room to experience the music through both sight and vibration, while Portuguese Sign Language volunteers will be present across the festival. The programme has been developed with neurodivergent people and specialist partners, including Associação Portuguesa Voz do Autista.

Sustainability is equally rooted in the festival’s relationship with Góis, the Serra do Açor and the Rio Ceira. Chronosphere will plant one tree in the region for every ticket sold, alongside reuse-focused bar and vendor systems, waste planning from the design stage and measures to reduce disposable plastics. Working with local authorities and organisations, the festival also aims to support forest protection, wildfire awareness and a longer-term programme of environmental regeneration.

“Chronosphere is built around the idea that care should shape every layer of a festival — from the artists we invite and the way audiences experience the site, to our relationship with Góis and the landscape around us. We want to create a space where different minds, bodies and backgrounds feel considered, while presenting an uncompromising musical programme in one of Portugal’s most remarkable natural settings.” - Rita Silva and Emiliano Oscar Fabbrici, Co-Founders of Chronosphere Festival

Camping is included with every weekend pass, with the campsite opening at 14:00 on Thursday 17 September. The festival site opens at 09:00 on Friday 18 September, with music beginning from midday and continuing into the early hours across all three days.

Tickets are available now from https://www.chronospherefestival.com/.

AZZECCA DROPS NEW SINGLE ‘DISSOLVE’

Ahead Of Hometown Performance at ARC Music Festival

Out Now via Cosimea

Chicago-born producer and DJ Azzecca today releases her new single ‘dissolve’ on her own Cosimea imprint.

‘dissolve’ is a record defined by persistence. The demo followed Azzecca through years of studio sessions, taking on different forms as she continued returning to the idea and searching for the version that felt complete. That patience ultimately shaped one of her most dimensional productions to date. Buoyant and full-bodied, ‘dissolve’ moves fluidly between Azzecca’s heady house and kaleidoscopic techno, layering hypnotic textures over an insistent groove that pulls the track deeper into the dancefloor.

“‘Ddissolve’ has been worked and reworked into so many different tracks over the past couple of years. I knew it had potential and found myself coming back to it in every studio session. The wait was worth it and I am so happy with the final result.” – Azzecca.

The perseverance behind ‘dissolve’ feels particularly fitting amid a defining year for Azzecca. In April, she made her main lineup debut on Coachella's Yuma stage, then spent the summer expanding her discography with releases on Warehouse Project Records, ATW Records, and Factory93. She also set out on her Extended Sessions Tour, a headline run of 3+ hour sets centered around crate-digging, sonic exploration, and reconnecting with the dancefloor.

‘dissolve’ arrives as the tour comes full circle in Azzecca’s hometown, concluding with her official ARC pre-party at Castaways before she takes The Grid stage at ARC Festival on Friday. Azzecca will also host a pop-up DJ set at Pure Green that morning, featuring a custom flavor and limited-edition sleeve designs available exclusively on September 4.

EXIT TO MONTENEGRO FESTIVALS DRAW 150,000 ATTENDEES FROM OVER 100 COUNTRIES

After political pressure over its support for student protests forced EXIT out of Serbia, the award-winning festival brand - this year's Promoter of the Year at the European Festival Awards - staged EXIT to Montenegro in Ulcinj and Budva, which for this year was one of the largest and most significant free-to-attend music festivals of its kind globally, as part of an international tour spanning Europe and reaching as far as Egypt.

Alongside the upcoming first-ever multi-stage, multi-day festival at the Great Pyramids of Giza, Montenegro became a central chapter of the tour, following an agreement between EXIT and the Montenegrin Government focused on developing music tourism. EXIT's Montenegro chapter opened at Long Beach in Ulcinj back in July and closed with a three-night Sea Dance finale on the beach in Budva. Around 150,000 people attended the two festivals, with audiences from more than 100 countries. Most international visitors travelled from Germany, the UK, Turkey, Italy, Poland, France, the United States and countries across the Balkan region.

Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić described EXIT’s arrival as an opportunity for the country to further strengthen its international profile. “EXIT is not just about bringing a major festival to Montenegro. It is an opportunity for the country to showcase its full potential, energy and openness – a confirmation that Montenegro is taking centre stage in the region and attracting attention from around the world” Spajić said following the Sea Dance Festival in Budva.

Earlier this year, when announcing the EXIT to Montenegro project, Spajić said that Montenegro was becoming EXIT’s new home in the year marking the 20th anniversary of the country’s independence. He estimated that the events in Ulcinj and Budva would generate at least 210,000 overnight stays and more than €40 million in tourism revenue during 2026.

Some of the world’s most in-demand artists, including HUGEL, Charlotte de Witte, Boris Brejcha and Argy, alongside Eurovision winner DARA, led the line-ups across the two festivals. They were joined by John Newman with his new live show, Enrico Sangiuliano, RPR Soundsystem, Marcel Dettmann, Mita Gami, BIIA, Monolink, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, Stephan Bodzin, Lanna, Layla Benitez and Burak Yeter, alongside leading regional acts and a major showcase of Montenegro’s domestic music scene.

One of the strongest visual links between the two events was EXIT’s monumental 12-metre sculpture “Ivana”, transformed throughout the night through lighting and 3D mapping. The sculpture is dedicated to Ivana Kovačević, a mother of three and one of the most important members of the EXIT family, who passed away last year. Conceived as an act of love and remembrance, it also carries a broader message about the empowerment of the feminine principle, enduring love and the importance of protecting nature, especially Long Beach in Ulcinj, where the first edition was held.

Beyond the festivals themselves, EXIT’s Montenegro chapter also carried a strong humanitarian message through the “United for Kids” charity evening, which raised support for a rehabilitation house for children recovering from cancer treatment, as well as for the local Day Centre for children and young people with disabilities. John Newman, who himself battled cancer several years ago, supported the initiative with an intimate DJ set.

Reflecting on EXIT’s first season beyond Serbia and the success of its new international chapter, founder and CEO Dušan Kovačević said: “Following our departure from Serbia, it was a big challenge to completely transform our business model while already in motion. At times, it felt like upgrading an aircraft engine while the plane was still flying. However, we are extremely pleased  with how our international tour has unfolded so far. Every festival has been a great success, especially the recently concluded Sea Dance in Budva, and we are grateful to Montenegro for giving us its support when we needed it most. In return, we delivered truly exceptional events and fantastic images that travelled around the world. I am especially proud that, alongside some of the biggest international stars, we engaged as many as 122 local artists, giving them the opportunity to perform in front of an international audience”.

Building on a summer that connected Ulcinj and Budva, EXIT is continuing its international journey. The next stop on its global tour will be Egypt, where one of Europe’s leading festival brands has been entrusted with staging the first, full festival format in front of the iconic Pyramids of Giza, bringing this new chapter of EXIT’s international journey to a spectacular close.
