MAMMBOH RHYTHMS BRINGS TOGETHER 30+ ARTISTS FOR ‘UNITED FOR COLOMBIA’, A CHARITY VA RAISING FUNDS FOR EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

  Colombian electronic music label Mammboh Rhythms has announced ‘UNITED FOR COLOMBIA’, a special 32-track VA charity bringing together artists from across the international electronic music circuit in support of communities affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Colombia this week.

 Out Wednesday 12 August 2026, the compilation sees artists from across techno and the wider underground electronic music scene donate music to a collective fundraising effort, with 100% of proceeds from the release going towards verified organisations providing humanitarian assistance and relief to communities affected by the disaster.

The main priority will be supporting communities in Chocó, one of the areas most affected by the emergency and one of Colombia’s most underserved regions. Funds will also support verified organisations in Pereira and Cali, alongside a dedicated fund for Colombian artists and producers who have lost their homes as a result of the disaster.

To ensure full transparency, Mammboh Rhythms will publish weekly updates detailing the total funds raised, how they are allocated and transfer receipts for each verified organisation, sharing these directly with its community and media partners.

The initiative was created by Sons Of Hidden & Serge Andre, the Medellín based live artist and founders of Mammboh Rhythms, in response to the earthquake and its impact across Colombia. With deep roots in the Colombian electronic music community, the project sought to use the international network surrounding the label and its artists to create something immediate and tangible in support of those affected.

The compilation features contributions from Sons Of Hidden, Serge André, Advanced Transistor, Maōh, Pōnky, Obscure Shape, Isaiah, Lars Huismann, Brennen Grey, Fixon, William Arist, Fresko, Farceb, Frazi.er, Laurel, Janein, Gustavo Bassani, Floam, Hemka, Aöcram, EJA, Milo Novikov, Deluka, Ricardo Garduno, ALNA, QV, Azogiař, Praxys, Red Noise, Krubim, Sepian, Shakti (COL) and Milena Adamis.

The project arrives at a moment when Colombia is facing a significant humanitarian crisis following the earthquake, with communities across the country dealing with loss, displacement and the immediate need for assistance. For Mammboh Rhythms, the compilation represents an opportunity to turn the international reach of electronic music into direct support for those affected.

Sons Of Hidden: “This is one of those moments when, as a community, we show the values that have been built into the foundations of our movement. It’s time to come together for those who need it most today. Let the music never stop, because it hasn’t always been about celebration, it has also been about resistance.”

JUAN HANSEN SHARES LIVESET FROM GARDENS OF BABYLON, BODHI BEACH

The 90 minute set features a selection of exclusive material from Hansen’s forthcoming debut album Ultrasonido, arriving August 28

Argentine composer, producer and live artist Juan Hansen unveils his latest live recording from an unforgettable performance for Gardens of Babylon at Bodhi Beach near Zandvoort, Netherlands on August 1. Capturing the energy, emotion and spontaneity of his celebrated live show, the set offers listeners a glimpse into the sonic world of his forthcoming debut album Ultrasonido, due for worldwide release on August 28 via his own label Ultrasonido.

Captured in the atmospheric surroundings of Bodhi Beach, the performance showcases the full emotional and sonic landscape of Ultrasonido as Hansen intended it to be experienced: as a continuous, evolving journey. Blending electronic production, live instrumentation and spontaneous improvisation, the set brings the album’s narrative to life while highlighting the unique energy of Hansen’s celebrated live performances.

Ultrasonido represents Hansen’s exploration of sound as a physical and emotional experience. The album brings together his background as a composer with his instinctive approach to electronic music, creating a world where organic textures, hypnotic rhythms and cinematic atmospheres merge into a deeply personal expression of movement and connection. Following the release of the album’s first singles “Ninjas,” “Gambeta” and “Neon Maze,” the Gardens of Babylon performance marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the project, offering listeners an early opportunity to experience the album in a live setting.

Born in Buenos Aires, Juan Hansen is a composer, producer and live artist whose performances exist between electronic music, improvisation and contemporary composition. Built around Ableton Live and expanded through live guitars, vocals and synthesizers, his sets are fluid, expressive experiences where loops, melodies and textures continuously evolve in real time. Hansen studied classical music at the Conservatorio Juan José Castro and contemporary music at EMC (Escuela de Música Contemporánea) in Buenos Aires. Throughout his career, he has performed internationally at renowned festivals, clubs and cultural institutions, sharing stages with artists including Dixon, Hernán Cattáneo, Patrice Bäumel, Adriatique, Paul Kalkbrenner, Jan Blomqvist, Johannes Brecht and Giorgia Angiuli.

For Tape B, the collaboration represents a defining moment in his career. Across the past several years, he's consistently paid homage to hip-hop through widely celebrated reworks of artists who helped shape his musical identity. 

His catalog includes fan-favorite unofficial remixes of Mac Miller's "Loud" (2.1M streams),  Flatbush Zombies’ “222”  (1.2M), and A$AP Rocky’s “Goldie” (1.2M), alongside a growing collection of hip-hop-inspired edits that have become staples of his consistently sold-out live sets. The longstanding appreciation for the genre culminated in his first official hip-hop collaboration, "Trippy Land" with Juicy J in 2024, which has since surpassed 4 million streams across platforms. 

Joining forces with Zaytoven - one of the most influential producers in modern hip-hop - marks the next chapter in that journey, bringing together two artists connected by a shared appreciation for innovation.

Rather than meeting in the middle, the collaboration allows each producer's style to remain unmistakably intact. "This song was originally inspired by the famous UKF dubstep tutorial, and I've drawn a lot of inspiration from that era for this song. I want the entire vibe of it to feel like something that came from the 2010-2012 era of dubstep.

When I saw a video of Zaytoven talking about his production process, I thought that him talking about the "wub" sound was perfect for a revamped modern version of the UKF dubstep tutorial but in a new school way. 

We reached out to Zaytoven's team and had some phone calls about making this an official collaboration and they were very excited about it. My goal is to continue bridging the gap between hip-hop and dubstep and this song is a great example of it.  The song was the intro to my sets on my fall 2025 bus tour and has been a favorite in every set since.."
