CHUS AND CEBALLOS OPEN A NEW CHAPTER WITH 'SOMOS UNO’

The Stereo Productions founders return with a powerful statement of renewal and connection, expanding the Iberican sound they pioneered for a new generation of dance floors.

Few artists have done more to bridge Latin musical traditions with underground house music than Chus & Ceballos. Long before Afro House, Organic House and Latin-inspired club music became global movements, the Spanish duo were forging a sound entirely their own. Fusing tribal percussion, Latin rhythms, hypnotic grooves and soulful musicality, they pioneered what became known around the world as the “Iberican Sound”, while simultaneously helping define the evolution of Tech House into one of electronic music's most enduring genres.

As founders of Stereo Productions, Chus & Ceballos placed Spanish electronic music firmly on the international map, inspiring generations of DJs and producers with a catalogue that has shaped dance floors for almost three decades. Reuniting at the beginning of 2026 following a hiatus brought on during Covid, the duo embarked on an extensive Reunion Tour that has already taken them to more than 50 cities worldwide, including Montreal, Toronto, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Madrid and Barcelona. The overwhelming response has confirmed that the appetite for the unmistakable Chus & Ceballos sound has only grown in their absence.

Their new single, Somos Uno, marks the first original release of this new chapter. Rather than looking backwards, the record expands the Iberican Sound into a contemporary landscape shaped by today's global Latin electronic movement. Built around rolling percussion, deep tribal rhythms and hypnotic grooves, it retains the unmistakable musical identity that has defined Chus & Ceballos throughout their career while embracing a richer, more cinematic production aesthetic.

Speaking about the new release, Chus & Ceballos commented:

“This first release means far more to us than simply putting out a new record. It’s our way of returning to the studio, rediscovering the creative chemistry that always defined Chus & Ceballos, and reconnecting with the sound that became part of our identity. For everyone who grew up with our music, we hope this record feels like reconnecting with an old friend. And for a new generation of listeners, we hope it’s the beginning of discovering what Chus & Ceballos is all about.”

Patiently unfolding across an immersive groove, the track layers organic textures and ritualistic percussion into a record designed as much for emotional connection as it is for peak-time dance floors. At its heart lies a speech instantly recognisable throughout the Latin world. More than simply a vocal sample, it becomes the emotional centrepiece of the record; a call for unity across Latin communities and a reminder that dance music has always transcended borders. Rather than interrupting the groove, the message elevates it, transforming Somos Uno into a celebration of shared identity, culture and community.

Chus & Ceballos continued:

“For us, this track represents unity, not only the connection between different cultures through rhythm and dance, but also our own journey as a duo. After everything we have experienced, coming back together feels like another example of two different paths becoming one again. The message is simple: music has the power to bring people together, and this record is a celebration of that connection.”

At a time when Latin artists continue to reshape global music across every genre, Somos Uno feels both timely and deeply authentic. It reflects the cultural exchange that has always been central to the Iberican Sound while reaffirming the philosophy that has guided Chus & Ceballos for more than twenty-five years: that rhythm is a universal language capable of bringing people together.

Rather than serving as a retrospective on their remarkable career, Somos Uno looks firmly towards the future. As the first single from their Reunion Tour campaign, it signals the beginning of a new body of work from two artists who continue to evolve while remaining true to the musical identity that has made them one of electronic music's most respected partnerships.

Chus & Ceballos are widely regarded as one of Spain’s most enduring, influential, and professional electronic music duos. With a career spanning almost three decades, DJ Chus and Pablo Ceballos have left an indelible mark on global dance culture as producers, remixers, label founders, and pioneering tastemakers.

Renowned for their exceptional studio work — including official remixes for global icons such as Madonna, Shakira, Yoko Ono, and many more — Chus & Ceballos embody a rare versatility that allows them to command intimate underground clubs as effortlessly as massive, life-scale festivals. Their marathon DJ sets are infused with a genuine Iberian character, where hypnotic percussion, driving grooves, and emotional depth converge in a seamless dialogue between House and Techno. This balance — organic yet powerful, soulful yet precise — has become their defining signature.

Over the past decade, Chus & Ceballos have been the architects and champions of the underground movement known as the **Iberican Sound**. Long before Afro House and Latin Tech House became global trends, they introduced a bold fusion of tribal rhythms, Latin percussion, soulful vocals, and electronic discipline. Through their influential label, Stereo Productions, they cultivated an entire ecosystem of artists and producers who embraced Tribal music not merely as a genre, but as a way of life. This movement reshaped dance floors worldwide and established a lasting blueprint for modern house music.

Their unwavering dedication, professionalism, and constant sonic evolution propelled them to the pinnacle of the global scene, earning residencies at some of the world’s most respected clubs, including Pacha and Cielo in New York, Space Miami, Stereo Montreal, Sound Los Angeles, Ageha Tokyo, and countless others across continents. Everywhere they performed, Chus & Ceballos became ambassadors of rhythm, unity, and warmth—unifying dance floors through authenticity and groove.

After a five-year hiatus that began during the pandemic, Chus & Ceballos now return with The Reunion Tour – a highly anticipated reawakening of one of electronic music’s most iconic partnerships. This next chapter is both a celebration and an evolution: a reconnection with fans, a reflection on their shared journey, and a bridge toward the future. Drawing from years of personal growth and artistic exploration, their reunion honors a legacy that helped shape the modern sound of house music while reaffirming its relevance in today’s global scene.

The Reunion is more than a comeback — it is a statement of renewal, connection, and continuity. With their unmistakable blend of percussion, groove, and soul, Chus & Ceballos continue to represent an invaluable legacy of sound, where quality is the message, rhythm is the language, and the dance floor remains the eternal meeting point.

SONDELA RECORDINGS LAUNCHES SONDELA VOLT TO CHAMPION THE NEXT WAVE OF AFRO-ELECTRONIC TALENT

Introducing 'Ascendance' by Phila De Giant & Ayden J, the imprint's first release.

Sondela Recordings expands its vision with the launch of new imprint Sondela Volt, introducing a dedicated home for the deeper, darker and more club-focused edges of African electronic music. Marking the label's first release on 24 July, Volt opens its catalogue with 'Ascendance', a collaboration between returning Sondela artist Phila De Giant and label newcomer Ayden J.

Founded by the team behind Sondela Recordings, Sondela Volt has been created to champion records designed first and foremost for the dancefloor. While Sondela Recordings has built its reputation around celebrating the breadth, culture and global evolution of African electronic music, the new imprint narrows its focus towards peak-time club energy, exploring the driving worlds of Afro House, Afro Tech and 3Step through a distinctly underground lens.

Setting the tone is ‘Ascendance’, a powerful Afro Tech collaboration pairing returning Sondela’s Phila De Giant with emerging talent Ayden J. Built around hypnotic percussion, rolling grooves and peak-time energy, the release sets the blueprint for the sound Sondela Volt aims to champion.

The launch also represents the next step in Sondela's wider story. Since its inception in 2021 under Defected Records before evolving into an independent movement, Sondela Records has become one of the leading platforms championing innovative African electronic music and the artists shaping its future. Through a commitment to authenticity, cultural exchange and long-term artist development, the label has consistently sought to amplify voices from across the continent and its diaspora while helping redefine perceptions of Afro-inspired electronic music on the global stage.

With ‘Ascendance’, Sondela Volt signals the beginning of a new chapter, one that looks firmly towards the future of African electronic music while staying rooted in the dancefloors where these sounds continue to evolve.

The debut release has already received early support from leading names including Enoo Nap

BLACK COFFEE TO HEADLINE EXCLUSIVE OPEN-AIR SHOW AT UNESCO-LISTED BUDA CASTLE

Grammy Award-winning artist’s exclusive 2,000-cap performance takes place at one of Budapest’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Grammy Award-winning Black Coffee will headline an exclusive 2,000-cap open-air performance at Budapest’s UNESCO-listed Buda Castle on 14 August 2026, marking a rare opportunity to experience one of the world’s leading electronic artists in an intimate and historic setting.

Presented by BSH Events in partnership with local promoter City Takeover, the event marks BSH’s first-ever show in Hungary and continues the Croatian promoter’s reputation for creating unforgettable electronic music experiences in culturally significant locations.

Black Coffee is a global force in Afro house, having defined the sound through his acclaimed productions, headline festival performances and celebrated Ibiza residencies. His long-standing relationship with BSH has already produced several standout events, and this summer continues that legacy with his highly anticipated return to Budapest - his first performance in the city in 12 years - following his appearance at BSH Amphitheatre Pula in Croatia just two weeks earlier.

Set atop Castle Hill overlooking the Danube, Buda Castle is one of Budapest’s defining landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Perched above the Danube, Buda Castle has dominated Budapest's skyline since the 13th century. Today, its UNESCO-listed Baroque palace provides one of Europe's most spectacular settings for cultural events. Its dramatic architecture, panoramic views and unique atmosphere will provide a spectacular backdrop for one of the summer’s most anticipated electronic music events.

The Budapest event represents the next chapter in the ongoing collaboration between Black Coffee and BSH, following a series of successful performances together across Europe. It also marks a major milestone for BSH Events as the promoter brings its distinctive approach to destination-driven electronic music experiences to Hungary for the first time.
