EXIT DRAWS OVER 50,000 TO MONTENEGRO'S ADRIATIC COAST AS FIRST CHAPTER CLOSES IN ULCINJ

The first chapter of EXIT to Montenegro was completed on Long Beach in Ulcinj, welcoming more than 50,000 visitors over three festival nights and officially opening Montenegro's summer season.

Featuring performances by Monolink, Jamie Jones, Argy, Maceo Plex, Stephan Bodzin, Awen, Fiona Kraft, Konstantin Sibold, Space Motion, Deer Jade, Lanna and numerous regional artists, alongside a spectacular 12-metre monumental installation that became the visual centrepiece of the event, the festival transformed Ulcinj into one of Europe's most exciting electronic music destinations. The journey now continues from 28th to 31st August in Budva (Bečići), where the second and final chapter of EXIT to Montenegro will take place.

Across three days and nights, Long Beach became a unique meeting point of music, nature and contemporary production. The daytime programme unfolded across the coastline with music, beach activities and a spectacular kitesurfing display above the Adriatic, while after sunset audiences experienced world-class electronic music in one of the Mediterranean's most spectacular natural settings.

At the heart of the stage design stood a 12-metre monumental installation, created through a collaboration between Montenegrin and Serbian artists. Brought to life through immersive 3D projections, it became one of the defining visual symbols of the festival. The artwork was conceived as a homage to Ivana Kovačević, wife of EXIT founder Dušan Kovačević and an important member of the EXIT family, celebrating the feminine principle of compassion, hope and the protection of life.

The festival also demonstrated the growing role of major cultural events in extending Montenegro's tourism season, attracting visitors at the very beginning of July and helping fill an early-July lull that has long challenged Montenegro's tourism calendar. At the same time, it confirmed the enormous potential of Long Beach as one of Europe's emerging festival destinations.

Following the Ulcinj chapter, EXIT to Montenegro continues its coastal journey at the end of August in Bečići, where audiences can look forward to another spectacular festival edition featuring Peggy Gou, Charlotte de Witte, HUGEL, John Newman, Enrico Sangiuliano, RPR Soundsystem, and many more.

JOHN DIGWEED TO RELEASE LIVE AT TWILO

Due for release on July 24, the four-CD live recording captures Digweed's historic return to the legendary New York nightclub on March 6, 2026, with five unforgettable hours spanning three decades of music - from timeless New York house classics to contemporary underground favourites.

Twenty-five years after the doors of New York City's legendary Twilo closed, John Digweed returns to the venue that helped define an era of electronic music with the release of Live at Twilo, a stunning four-CD live mix recorded during the club's extraordinary one-off reunion on March 6, 2026.

Captured during Danny Tenaglia's birthday weekend celebrations, Live at Twilo documents Digweed's emotional return to the iconic dancefloor at 530 West 27th Street; a venue forever intertwined with his career and with the evolution of electronic music in America.

For clubbers around the world, Twilo was more than just a nightclub. Throughout the late 1990s, Sasha & John Digweed's legendary monthly residencies became the benchmark for marathon DJ sets, pushing musical boundaries over eight and sometimes ten-hour performances that helped establish progressive house as a global movement. Their appearances at Twilo between 1996 and the club's closure in 2001 remain among the most celebrated moments in dance music history, making Digweed's return for this special reunion one of the most significant events in recent club culture.

Reflecting on the release, John Digweed said:

"This was such a special night for me and being invited back to play Twilo again, for Danny Tenaglia's birthday weekend was a dream come true. After listening back to the recording, I knew I had to release this set, which was so memorable for me and for so many people that had travelled far and wide to have one more dance in that incredible room. I hope that you enjoy my set as much as I did on the night.”

Speaking on the early response to the release, John continued:

"I’ve been totally blown away by the reaction to the announcement of this album. The limited edition signed CD’s and Vinyl packs sold out in 10 days, which was just an amazing response to this release.”

Spread across four CDs, and with four continuous mixes also available to stream exclusively on Bandcamp, Live at Twilo captures five hours of Digweed's extended set as he carefully rebuilds the atmosphere of one of the world's most revered dancefloors. Seamlessly blending music from three decades, the mix pays homage to Twilo's rich musical heritage while remaining firmly rooted in the present.

Classic New York house influences from artists including Angel Moraes, Deep Dish, John Creamer & Stephane K sit effortlessly alongside contemporary favourites such as Frankey & Sandrino, Tom Pavicich, Yunus Guvenen and Rocco Rodamaal. The result is a timeless journey that celebrates both the club's extraordinary legacy and Digweed's enduring artistry behind the decks. Recorded in front of a packed room filled with fans who travelled from across the globe to experience one final night on the famous Twilo dancefloor, the recording captures an atmosphere that many believed would never exist again.

John Digweed Live at Twilo will be released on July 24
