Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights

July 17–19, 2026 at Cook’s Valley Campground in Northern California

Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights unveils its 2026 Phase Two lineup, adding a new wave of house, techno, bass, and underground dance music talent ahead of its anticipated return to Cook’s Valley Campground from July 17-19. Led by two of Northern California’s most celebrated independent festivals, the festival will once again transform the towering Redwoods and Eel River into an intimate, fully immersive playground for music, art, nature, and community.

Leading Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights’ phase two announcement is the groove-heavy powerhouse of Walker & Royce B2B VNSSA, UK bass favorite Hamdi, Dirtybird standout Ardalan, Detroit house legend DJ Minx, and Miami natives Black V Neck.

The second wave continues to build out the festival’s house and club programming with artists who sit at the center of dance music culture rather than the traditional festival circuit. Radio Slave brings decades of influence across house and techno, while Sage Armstrong adds his signature low-end grooves and Madam X brings the sharp, bass-driven sound that has made her one of the strongest names in UK club music.

Continuing the stacked billing, Smalltown DJs bring their blend of house, disco, and dancefloor-driven selections, while SYREETA adds boundary breaking club sounds alongside Addison Groove’s unmistakable UK bass lineage and Auguste’s Carribean-rooted melodic afro-house. Gina Turner further rounds out the programming with her longtime presence as a DJ, producer, and community-builder within house music.

These artists add even more firepower to a loaded phase one lineup that includes CloZee, Tape B, Justin Martin, LP Giobbi, Bruno Furlan, Daniel Allan, DJ Susan, Flowdan, Gene Farris, GoldFish, Ivy Lab, Kaleena Zanders, Know Good, Mindchatter (DJ Set), Nitepunk, Sacha Robotti, Sam Binga, Shaded (Live), Todd Edwards, Will Clarke, Born Dirty, Christian Martin, Dimond Saints, DJ Glen, High Step Society, J.Phlip, Life on Planets, and more.

Nestled in the heart of the Emerald Triangle, Cook’s Valley Campground sets the stage with towering Redwoods, riverfront hideaways, and Northern California’s rugged natural beauty, all just 190 miles north of San Francisco. Across the grounds, programming spills out over multiple stages - including the Main Stage, River Stage, Bird Bath Stage, Grove Stage, and late-night Bunker - each carving out its own sonic universe, from sun-drenched grooves along the river to after-hours sessions that stretch deep into sunrise beneath the trees. The festival also welcomes back its “Our Friends” stages with community players like LFO, Madrone, and Octopus Garden, with many more artists still to be announced on these stages.

Beyond the music, Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights leans fully into its free-spirited participatory ethos. Fans can expect a weekend of camp games, artist-led antics, and spontaneous moments that blur the line between performer and crowd - hallmarks of the Dirtybird Campout legacy - set against Northern Nights’ nature-forward, creatively charged backdrop. Whether it’s daytime mischief, late night wanderings, or stumbling upon unexpected back to back sets - it’s less about following a schedule and more about seeing where the weekend takes you.

For over 20 years, Dirtybird has cultivated a deeply loyal global community through its irreverent, genre-defying approach to dance music culture. Northern Nights, now over a decade strong, has established itself as one of the West Coast’s most innovative independent festivals, merging music, nature, and creativity into a singular experience. Together, the two brands represent a proven model for independent festivals - one rooted in collaboration, authenticity, and shared values.

As the festival landscape continues to shift, Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights stands as a testament to how independent events can not only endure, but evolve: by creating a shared space where music leads, community thrives, and culture is shaped from the ground up.

With demand already surging, ticket inventory is limited, and various camping options are already sold out. Tickets are on sale now via the official Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights website, including GA and VIP passes, along with a limited selection of remaining camping accommodations. Additional lineup announcements and programming details will be revealed in the coming weeks.

PARADOKS DELIVERS POWERFUL SINGLE GRANULAR ON PURIFIED RECORDS

Following his impactful release Remember last year, label mainstay Paradoks makes a striking return to Purified Records with his first release of the year, Granular.

Demonstrating his refined ability to fuse cinematic, emotive soundscapes with bold, high-impact production, the track unfolds with precision and intent, balancing atmospheric depth with driving momentum. Daring and uncompromising, Granular channels a relentless surge of energy into every dancefloor it reaches – a quality shaped through extensive global testing across the winter season. As he continues to push the boundaries of his evolving sound, Paradoks once again reaffirms his position at the forefront of the melodic house and techno landscape.

Speaking about the release, Paradoks mentioned:

"Granular is very connected to what’s going on around us right now. The world feels unsettled, and we’re constantly exposed to digital noise, bad news and information overload. It affects us, and sometimes it feels like we’re just passengers, with no real control over what’s happening.

This song reflects how my mind sometimes feels, fragmented into bits of information, that sense of living in a world where everything moves so fast it becomes overwhelming and hard to process, to the point where we almost disconnect from it. There’s a certain heaviness in that.

But at the same time, even if we can’t control the bigger picture, we can still choose how we experience it.

With a sound that bridges powerful electronic music and melodic storytelling, Paradoks connects listeners to themselves, each other, and the present moment. His music celebrates life’s dualities: light and dark, calm and intensity, mind and heart, offering an authentic exploration of the human paradoxes within us all.

The artwork for Granular features a stunning aerial image of an outer reef, captured by Australian photographer Brooke Pyke. Australia is home to the Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest coral reef system, which supports more than 1,500 species of fish and 400 species of coral. In alignment with this visual narrative, the Australian Marine Conservation Society continues its vital work protecting the country’s oceans and marine life—campaigning against overfishing, reducing plastic pollution, and safeguarding threatened species and habitats.

Brooke Pyke is an award-winning marine life photographer based on Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia. With a background in diving, she has dedicated her career since 2014 to capturing the beauty of the underwater world through ocean, travel, and adventure photography.

ASTRAL PLANE: TOTAL ECLIPSE FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES DAY SPLITS AND ADDS MORE NAMES TO THE LINE UP: CHEZ DAMIER, LAIA, MARRØN MATT SASSARI

Astral Plane: Total Eclipse Festival announces the day splits for its inaugural edition and adds four more names to the bill.

The festival will take place August 10th, 11th and 12th, just one hour from Madrid at La Pinilla Mountain Resorts in the Sierra Ayllón Mountain Range, Segovia, Spain. A location strategically chosen for the best views of the astronomical event – the first total solar eclipse to cross Europe this century.

The four new additions to the lineup are Chicago legend Chez Damier, Dutch techno force MARRØN, Marseille's Matt Sassari and finally, rising Madrid-based DJ LAIA.

The Eclipse Sets

Keen to transform the celestial phenomenon into a transcendent cultural experience, the festival will be anchored by a centrepiece eclipse set aligned with the moment of totality. Taking place on the main Eclipse Stage, custom built for the occasion and positioned for the perfect view of the eclipse over the horizon at an altitude of 1500m – and who better to take charge than Detroit techno founding father Kevin Saunderson. Kevin will play a 4-hour set (8pm-12am) crafted specifically for this unique moment and that will include the exact moment of totality at 20:31.

Before Kevin’s set there will also be a partial eclipse set from Irish house favourite Mano Le Tough (6pm – 8pm).

Elsewhere across the three days; Berlin icon Ellen Allien, Detroit electro pioneer DJ Stingray 313, British techno legend Luke Slater, the fierce and uncompromising Ben Sims, German techno powerhouse Lilly Palmer, Berlin’s Gerd Janson – one of the world’s most respected selectors, techno powerhouse Nicole Moudaber, plus Dutch house maestro Ferreck Dawn. Or:la, Dense & Pika, Eli Escobar, Jen Cardini, Eris Drew and Marie Madeleine round out a bill that spans the full breadth of house and techno.

Further Spanish representatives include homegrown hero Coyu, and a whole host of further Madrid talent like Pushmann, Hermética, José, Riviani, Anso and Deceit. The international underground is represented by Georgian selector Salome, Japanese DJ Riria, Italian house craftsman Black Loops, Munich collective Toy Tonics, and other rising names Ammara, Urumi, DJ Fuckoff, Dr Dak and Santiago complete the lineup.

More on Astral Plane, the Total Solar Eclipse, and La Pinilla:

On August 12th 2026 for those standing in the path of totality, day will become night, stars will appear in the sky, and the sun's corona will emerge as a white halo around the black disk of the moon. Astral Plane searched for a location in the path of totality with a high chance of clear skies, the capacity to welcome 10,000 attendees, and a main stage positioned to frame the performances in a picturesque moment during the eclipse. La Pinilla Mountain Resort meets all of these criteria, with an 80% chance of clear skies, a 12,000-capacity main stage with the sun as a backdrop, and a history of hosting multi-day music festivals on the mountain and in town.

The music will be spread across three stages:

The Eclipse Stage: the main stage, for the festival’s biggest acts.

The Mountaintop Stage: on a plateau overlooking Sierra Ayllón, accessible by ski lift or hiking.

The Starship Stage: for the festival’s up-and-coming acts.

During the day there will also be talks and workshops on the eclipse’s scientific and societal significance held prior to the musical programming – details to be announced soon.

Astral Plane is conceived as a roaming festival, built to follow the shadow of the moon wherever it falls. Beyond this summer, the next editions will follow the 2027 eclipse crossing Southern Spain, North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula and then 2028’s eclipse over Australia.

One ticket, one tree: For every ticket sold, the festival will plant a tree in La Pinilla or its surrounding nature reserves. The festival exists because of this landscape, the mountains that frame the eclipse, the clear skies, and the natural amphitheatre of the Sierra de Ayllón. This commitment ensures the festival gives back to the environment that makes it possible.
