DEFECTED REVEALS LINE-UP FOR CHINOIS IBIZA 2026 RESIDENCY EVERY THURSDAY 7 MAY – 8 OCTOBER

Global house authority will take over Thursday nights in the Ibiza Marina, delivering an expertly curated line-up of house talent week on week.

Known for its musical credibility, intimacy and a dancefloor-first philosophy, Chinois makes a perfect fit for Defected’s Ibiza this summer.

Defected has revealed the full line-up for its 2026 Ibiza season at Chinois Ibiza, taking over Thursday nights from 7 May to 8 October. Marking a defining new chapter for the label at the club in the heart of Ibiza’s Marina, walking distance from Ibiza Town. The 23-week residency brings together house music pioneers, global icons and a new generation of talent shaping the future of the genre.

True to Defected’s ethos, the programme balances heritage with forward-thinking programming. From Chicago originator Lil Louis and Detroit visionary Carl Craig, to future stars such as Olive F, D Stone and Joella Jackson, right through to scene-defining figures Kerri Chandler, Kevin Saunderson and Armand Van Helden, Defected continues its long-standing commitment to platforming house music culture in Ibiza.

Alongside them, contemporary heavyweights such as Dennis Ferrer, Eats Everything, Jayda G and Jonas Blue will bring peak-time energy to the Chinois dancefloor, while tastemakers including TSHA, Eliza Rose, Cinthie, KILIMANJARO and Ella Knight reflect the breadth of today’s house landscape.

Defected’s own family remains central to the story, with label mainstays and residents including Sam Divine, Monki and Melé joined by a new wave of artists close to the label, such as Oden & Fatzo, Deetron, Riva Starr, Arielle Free and Shermanology.

Speaking on the line-up announcement, Defected CEO Wez Saunders said:
“Chinois is an incredible space, and this line-up reflects where Defected stands right now, honouring our roots while pushing the culture forward. It’s about world-class DJs, genuine community and the energy you only get when the right crowd meets the right music.”

Since opening in 2022, Chinois Ibiza has built a reputation as one of the island’s most respected clubs, prioritising exceptional sound quality to earn its title as the ‘sonic temple of Ibiza’, in turn fostering a community-driven atmosphere often lacking in the island’s club landscape. Offering a refreshing alternative to the superclubs, it provides an authentic Ibiza experience, honouring the island's spirit.

This year’s Defected season bears the tagline Defected Forever, celebrating over 25 years of togetherness on dancefloors around the world. Rooted in the belief that house music is about connection first and foremost, a social genre that creates lifelong friendships, Defected Forever celebrates the relationships and love stories formed within its global community and at its parties. Honouring Defected’s enduring legacy on the island and beyond, not just defined by records or residencies but by the people who have grown up with the brand and continue to find each other on its dancefloors year after year, the partnership with Chinois demonstrates Defected’s ongoing commitment to prioritising its community and dancefloor-first ethos.

With weekly line-ups and special guests still to be revealed across the season, Defected’s move to Chinois is already shaping up to be one of the island’s most talked-about residencies of 2026.

Defected takes over Chinois Ibiza every Thursday from 7 May – 8 October 2026. Tickets are on sale now here.

BLACK COFFEE ANNOUNCES OPEN-AIR SHOW AT ROMAN AMPHITHEATRE IN CROATIA

Globally renowned Afro house pioneer Black Coffee is set to perform inside one of the world’s best-preserved Roman amphitheatres this summer when he headlines the first BSH Amphitheatre Pula edition which will take place at the Pula Arena in Croatia on 31st July 2026, with more names to follow.

Located on the Adriatic coast, the Pula Arena is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most striking historic landmarks. Originally constructed during the Roman Empire, the stone amphitheatre has hosted centuries of cultural gatherings and this event marks a rare convergence of contemporary electronic music with ancient heritage. Presented by event powerhouses BSH as part of the Adria Summer Festival, this show will transform the ancient, 2,000-year-old architectural monument and one of the most intact Roman amphitheatres still standing into an epic setting.

Black Coffee is one of electronic music’s most influential figures. The Grammy Award-winning artist is celebrated for blending Afro-house, deep house and soulful electronic sounds in both his sets and productions, and has been hypnotising crowds at major festivals and iconic venues worldwide for more than a decade.

The show follows BSH’s sold-out 2025 hosting of Black Coffee at Cave Romane, where the South African artist delivered one of the standout electronic performances of the summer. For 2026, the concept grows significantly by moving to the larger Arena for what is their most ambitious production to date.

Known for selecting visually and culturally significant locations, BSH has built an international reputation for staging electronic music events that go beyond the traditional club format, combining destination travel, historic settings and high-end production.

Tickets are available now via Entrio.
