Rowing Canal, Plovdiv, Bulgaria

This summer, Bulgaria steps onto the global festival stage with the arrival of PhillGood, a brand-new three-day music festival in Plovdiv from 17–19 July 2026. Headlined by The Cure, Gorillaz, and Moby, PhillGood marks a pivotal moment as Bulgaria joins the Eurozone, introduces a digital nomad visa, and rapidly emerges as one of Europe’s fastest-growing cultural destinations.

Set along the city’s iconic Rowing Canal and framed by Plovdiv’s seven hills, PhillGood transforms this historic city into the Balkans’ newest large-scale music hub. Blending Roman ruins, Ottoman heritage, and a thriving contemporary arts scene, the festival places world-class music within a landscape shaped by centuries of creativity.

The opening night of PhillGood is headlined by The Cure, making their Bulgarian debut, alongside Wolf Alice, Irish dream-rockers Just Mustard, and French electronic producer Perturbator. On 18 July, Gorillaz bring their signature blend of music, visuals, and storytelling, joined by Belfast hip-hop trio Kneecap and electro-punk duo Sleaford Mods. The festival concludes on 19 July with Moby, whose work as an artist and producer has shaped electronic music for decades. Beyond the main stage, two additional stages will showcase diverse sounds and emerging talent, reinforcing PhillGood’s commitment to musical range and discovery.

MINISTRY OF SOUND GAMES ANNOUNCES 2026 DATES, COMBINING NIGHTLIFE & FITNESS FOR A NEW GENERATION.

Ministry of Sound reimagines club culture for a new era of social fitness, announcing four 2026 dates

As Londoners increasingly seek social experiences that prioritise connection, movement and atmosphere over alcohol, nightlife spaces are being reimagined for a new generation. This April, Ministry of Sound Games returns, transforming the legendary club into a competitive, music-led fitness arena and launching a four-date series across 2026.

Kicking off on April 11th, followed by events in June, September and November, Ministry of Sound Games blends structured physical competition with the sensory impact of a world-class nightclub.

Created by Ministry of Sound, Games is staged entirely inside a nightclub, drawing on the club’s 35-year legacy of sound, culture and collective experience. In 2026, participants compete in pairs through a sequence of immersive fitness zones inside the club’s main room, before transitioning into dedicated social and recovery spaces designed to encourage post-competition connection.

Earlier this year, Ministry of Sound completed a full renovation of its main room in January, installing a new lighting system by Lucid Creates alongside a KV2 sound system by Patchwork London. These upgrades place Games inside one of the most technically advanced club spaces in the world, offering a setting unlike any other fitness event in the UK.

Ministry of Sound Games brings the club experience into the world of fitness, and we’re the first competition in the UK staged inside a nightclub, with authentic DJs, lighting and production built into the format”, says Daisy Proctor, Head of Marketing at Ministry of Sound Games.

April’s edition marks the first of four Ministry of Sound Games events planned for 2026, as the series continues to explore how club culture can evolve beyond traditional nightlife and respond to changing social habits.
