BAILEY IBBS RETURNS WITH “NOTICE THE SILENCE” - A TRANSFORMATIVE, EMOTION-DRIVEN FOURTH RELEASE ON NIGHT SERVICE

Marking his return after a year, and delivering his most personal work to date

London-based producer Bailey Ibbs returns after a year with announcing ‘Notice The Silence’, his fourth EP on his own imprint Night Service, out now. Marking a clear evolution in sound and intention, the release sees Bailey step away from the purely club-driven intensity he’s become known for, instead embracing a more introspective, emotion-led approach built on tension and sincere self-expression.

Long regarded as a key figure in the new wave of contemporary techno, Bailey Ibbs has spent recent years shaping a distinct sonic identity that seamlessly blends techno, breaks and rave-rooted energy. Since emerging in 2022 with his Volta EP, which drew early support from DVS1, Ben Klock and Marrøn, he has gone on to release on influential platforms including KiNK, Token, HATE and SLAM, while continuing to develop Night Service as both a label and curatorial platform.

With Notice The Silence, however, Bailey deliberately turns inward. The EP captures moments of stillness and reflection, channelled through a more spacious, emotive framework that prioritises feeling over function. Rather than chasing peak-time immediacy, the project invites listeners into a slower, more contemplative space; one that embraces fragility, clarity and the weight of quiet moments.

“It’s me exploring new spaces I hadn’t given myself permission to explore before,” Ibbs explains. “Letting the tension breathe, letting the emotion lead. It feels like the most genuine representation of where I’m at creatively.”

The release arrives during a pivotal moment for the London-based artist. In 2024, Bailey was announced as a resident at Berlin’s iconic Tresor, further cementing his position within the global techno landscape. Alongside this, he continues to expand his reach beyond the club through his Rinse FM residency, where longer-form, narrative-led sets allow for deeper musical exploration, and through performances at forward-thinking spaces such as SECTION HQ.

With Night Service continuing to evolve as a platform for boundary-pushing club music, Notice The Silence stands as Bailey Ibbs’ most sincere statement yet: a release defined not by volume, but by intention.

MAXI MERAKI REIMAGINES MONOLINK’S “IN MY PLACE”

OUT NOW VIA EMBASSY ONE, THE BELGIAN PRODUCER DELIVERS AN EMOTIVE, CLUB-DRIVEN REINTERPRETATION OF ONE OF THE DEFINING TRACKS FROM MONOLINK’S LATEST ALBUM, “THE BEAUTY OF IT ALL”.

Following the critically acclaimed release of Monolink's third studio album The Beauty Of It All back in September, Embassy One now unveils the latest chapter in the album’s evolution with MAXI MERAKI’s remix of “In My Place”. Putting his own inimitable spin on one of the tracks that helped define the album’s emotional tone and artistic direction, the Belgian producer’s interpretation of “In My Place” builds on the raw, spontaneous spirit of the original while guiding it into deeper, more club-ready territory.

The original track – rooted in an impromptu synth jam between Monolink and producer Toby Siebert – was largely captured in a one-take performance, radiating the unfiltered energy and analog warmth that have become signatures of Monolink’s artistry. Its pulsing rhythms, subdued vocals and warped central riff made it both a listener favourite and a defining moment in the unveiling of The Beauty Of It All.

In his remix, MAXI MERAKI channels that raw essence into a refined, atmospheric journey. With meticulous attention to groove and space, he deepens the track’s emotional pull while expanding its dancefloor potential. Rolling percussion, dynamic bass textures and powerful synths provide a new sense of lift and motion, allowing Monolink’s vocals to breathe within a wider sonic horizon. The result is a remix that feels both intimate and cinematic; faithful to the soul of the original while unmistakably stamped with MERAKI’s signature emotional resonance.

Driven by a desire to connect deeply through sound, MAXI MERAKI has firmly established himself as one of electronic music’s rising forces. His releases on labels including Abracadabra, Monaberry, Get Physical, Ultra Records, Artbat’s Upperground, Rose Avenue, Astralwerks, Radiate and Siamese have earned him chart success and widespread recognition. Supported by industry icons such as Jamie Jones, Keinemusik, Rüfüs Du Sol, Adriatique, Black Coffee, Solomun, &ME and Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, he continues to shape a global presence through his unique blend of melodic nuance and dancefloor energy.

MERAKI’s remix adds a compelling new dimension to The Beauty Of It All, an album praised for its introspective storytelling, sonic warmth and focus on emotional clarity. By reinterpreting “In My Place,” he extends the album’s world, inviting listeners deeper into its atmosphere while offering a fresh, contemporary angle on one of its most impactful songs.

The latest remix extends the emotional weight and uplifting spirit of ‘Higher Power’ while offering a fresh perspective for the dancefloor. Mathame’s version chops AR/CO’s ethereal vocals and layers droning synths over pulsating percussion, pushing the original’s anthemic energy into new territory. Transformed through a blend of atmospheric melodies and driving underground rhythms, Mathame have elevated ‘Higher Power’ into a cinematic, late-night club experience.

Mathame’s new remix joins earlier ‘Higher Power’ reworks by Matt Sassari and AVELLO. In addition to heavy-hitting collaborations with Kaskade, Excision, and GRiZ, 2025 saw GRYFFIN tap acts across the electronic music spectrum for official remixes of ‘Air’ and ‘In My Head’ as he continues to cement his place as a leading figure in the scene. GRYFFIN will close out the year with NYE festival appearances at Contact, HiJinx, and Provenance.
