JAMIE JONES & NICOLE MOUDABER RETURN TO HOT CREATIONS WITH ‘WHERE ALL MY PEOPLE’

FEATURING VOCALS FROM EMERGING UK DUO HOUSE OF MOLLY

When Jamie Jones and Nicole Moudaber first collaborated on Hot Creations in 2020 with ‘Pepper Shake’, the result was a record that became an instant fixture in DJ sets worldwide for a seemingly never-ending list of names. Five years on, the pair return with ‘Where All My People’, a powerful anthem that merges Jamie’s signature groove-led style with Nicole’s unmistakable drive and energy. The record is further elevated by the pen and infectious vocals of London-based duo House Of Molly, whose recent work includes collaborations with Eats Everything and Piero Pirupa following their debut alongside Moudaber in 2024.

‘Where All My People’ is a celebration of rhythm, anchored by a rolling bassline and crisp percussion that form a tight, understated groove. House of Molly’s commanding vocal hook runs through the track like a thread of energy, adding a human touch that feels both intimate and anthemic. The ‘Dub’ version strips away the vocal layers, shifting the focus onto a pulsating low-end and intricate drum programming, perfect for DJs who want a darker, more heads-down interpretation.

Both Jamie and Nicole have spent years shaping the global electronic scene, each with a legacy of releases and events that have defined dance music. Jamie, as the creative force behind Hot Creations and Paradise, remains one of the most respected names in house music, known for his signature blend of funk-driven rhythms and forward-thinking productions. Nicole, equally iconic, is a powerhouse of the techno and house worlds, with her longstanding MOOD and recently launched MoodCollective imprints, and a career defined by genre-crossing creativity, iconic collaborations, and relentless energy.

‘Where All My People’ is more than just a collaboration; it’s the meeting of two icons who have consistently pushed the sounds of the dancefloor forward, and the introduction of a dynamic female duo already capturing serious attention. Marking another standout moment where distinct musical identities merge seamlessly, and as Hot Creations continues its hot streak, ‘Where All My People’ stands out as one of the label’s biggest records of 2025 - crafted by artists at the top of their game, and built for key moments across the globe.

In addition to this prestigious performance slot, the winner will also embark on a tour performing at five major festivals across the globe—an unprecedented opportunity for emerging regional talent.

This year’s edition boasts its strongest lineup of judges to date. Baloo, Chief Creative Officer at MDLBEAST and a key figure in the regional music scene, returns to the panel alongside Nikhil Chinapa of Satellite Beachside, a leading event organization from Goa, India, Milica Cvijetić of SEA STAR FESTIVAL powered by ECHOSYSTEM from Croatia, and DAOX, co-founder of Morocco’s MOGA Festival. The competition kicks off this August with the first submission phase. Aspiring DJs from across the MENA region are invited to submit a 30-minute SoundCloud set that showcases their technical skill, creativity, and musical storytelling. Judges will shortlist ten standout contestants who will then advance to the semi-final round. From there, selected DJs will submit video sets for further evaluation. The final round takes place live at XP Music Futures, where finalists will perform 30-minute sets in front of the full panel and a live audience. The final two contestants will go head-to-head for the title of Storm Shaker 2025 winner.

In addition to the headline performance at Soundstorm, all four finalists will receive flights, accommodation, XP Music Futures stage time, and exclusive access to festival programming, making the experience a pivotal moment in their careers. For MDLBEAST Foundation, Storm Shaker represents a core part of its commitment to developing a thriving, sustainable, and inclusive music ecosystem in the Middle East. By providing access to global stages, industry mentors, and professional support, the competition helps turn raw talent into career-ready artists.
