MYSTERYLAND CLOSES CHAPTER IN SPECTACULAR FASHION WITH ICONIC END SHOW

A new concept will launch in 2027

Mysteryland concluded its final edition in its current iconic form last night with a breathtaking, fully integrated grand finale featuring 800 drones. Next year, the festival will take a creative break, returning in 2027 with a brand-new concept. This year, Mysteryland welcomed 100,000 visitors from 81 countries. The redesigned mainstage was the largest to date, built in the shape of an arena where guests danced on and around the dancefloor across four levels. Tens of thousands gathered around the iconic pyramid, forming a pulsating sea of collective energy.

This year’s final show was more immersive and expansive than ever before: 800 drones, fireworks, lasers, video, lights, and sound were choreographed into a 15-minute spectacle where every element seamlessly merged into one another. The sky above the pyramid transformed into a living canvas, as the crowd was enveloped in 360 degrees of fireworks and visual effects. New this year was the narrative character of the end show, centered around themes of love and connection. The result was a total spectacle – unprecedented in scale – that once again pushed the boundaries of festival production. The show was developed in collaboration with partner AB InBev / BUD.

Sander Vermeulen, Creative Director of Mysteryland:

“We wanted to close this chapter of Mysteryland with a finale bigger than ever before: a show centered around love and connection. What we’ve created here with Mysteryland is about complete integration. Drones, lasers, video, fireworks, and sound all speak to one another, forming a single visual and musical story. It's no longer just about the technology; it’s about what happens when everything truly comes together.”

As always, this edition featured some of today’s biggest names alongside legendary acts. From Hardwell and Marlon Hoffstadt to trance icons Paul van Dyk and Eric Prydz, from FISHER to techno artists like Indira Paganotto, Adriatique, SNTS, Patrick Mason, and rising talent Benwal. The Dutch urban scene was also strongly represented, with fan favorites like Ronnie Flex and Broederliefde. New hosts this year included the beloved Bloemendaal beach club Woodstock ‘69, Radio De Koperen Hond, Indira Paganotto’s ARTCORE, and Amsterdam’s iconic nightclub Shelter. Longtime collaborators such as Vunzige Deuntjes, JOY, Trance Energy, Paardenrave, and Nachtcollege also returned.

Mysteryland 2025 marked the final edition in its current iconic form. After a creative break in 2026, the organization will return in 2027 with a renewed concept – once again redefining the boundaries of music, creativity, and experience. Visitors can now pre-register via Mysteryland. The full end show will be available soon on Mysteryland’s YouTube channel. See first snippets here

INDONESIAN POWER TRIO – WHISNU SANTIKA, DJ-PRODUCER DIPHA BARUS AND HIP-HOP QUEEN RAMENGVRL TEAM UP FOR HOT SUMMER RELEASE ‘IYAIYA’

Electronic music artist Whisnu Santika returns fresh on the scene with yet another fiery track, ‘IYAIYA’. This time, the Indonesian DJ and producer teams up with two of Asia’s most exciting music powerhouses: Dipha Barus, fresh off his cutting-edge single ‘Kualat’, whose forceful style carries the pulse of Indonesia’s vibrant sound; and RAMENGVRL, whose fearless rap is turning heads worldwide and who recently delivered standout sets at major festivals including Rolling Loud Thailand and Suara Music & Arts Festival. The two bring their signature energy to this punchy summer anthem, blending explosive intensity with a dance-ready pulse. IYAIYA is out now on all major streaming platforms, just in time to dominate your end-of-summer playlists!

stream/download: Whisnu Santika, Dipha Barus, Ramengvrl - IYAIYA

'IYAIYA' is an explosive collaboration that perfectly showcases the unique versatility of Whisnu Santika, Dipha Barus, and RAMENGVRL. It aims to reflect the real life of urban Gen Z and working-class youth who hustle hard but still want to have fun and stay visible. It’s not about glamour, but about being honest, ironic, and relatable. The focus is on the absurdity of everyday life, lived with unapologetic energy, blending survival spirit, with raw street style aesthetics. Whisnu Santika comments:

“Life doesn’t pause. Bills come, work piles up, deadlines chase you. I’ve lived that rhythm. “IYAYA” is for everyone on that grind, but it’s also a reminder: if you gotta work nonstop, you might as well dance while doing it.”

Driven by Whisnu Santika’s signature Indo-Bounce sound, the track bursts with percussive energy, slick production, and unexpected rhythmic shifts. Dipha Barus adds his polished electronic finesse, adding: “This track is chaos in the best way - dangdut meets Brazilian baile funk, then flips into indobounce and Baltimore club. It’s about working-class youth juggling college, work, and partying. A celebration of the restlessness in a broken system, chasing a decent life in a cycle that keeps spinning.”

Meanwhile RAMENGVRL delivers sharp, unapologetic verses that inject the track with bold attitude and lyrical punch: “This one’s for the real city kids. Pull up to the club on a bike but rockin’ Balenciaga (real or fake? only God knows), still in college, just got that part-time paycheck… and already paying taxes. Like how much more real can it get?”

The result is a crossover hit that moves effortlessly between underground grit and dancefloor euphoria. With its contagious hooks and fearless creative energy, it’s poised to resonate with a global audience hungry for new, authentic sounds. As Southeast Asia continues to emerge as a hub of cutting-edge musical innovation, ‘IYAIYA’ positions itself at the forefront of that movement, celebrating collaboration, identity, and artistic freedom. Beyond streaming, this track stands as a bold, culture-shifting anthem that elevates the region’s voice on the global dance stage.

IYAIYA’ is out now on all streaming platforms.
