The new tour invites fans deep into the creative mind of Kölsch, exploring the ever-blurring line between man and machine. In a radical evolution of his live format, he will bring core elements of his personal studio to the stage, using an array of modular systems to breathe new life into catalog favorites like 'Grey,' 'Loreley,' 'Goldfisch,' and 'All That Matters', each story revisited through the raw, expressive language of analog.

Supporting the tour is Kölsch’s new album KINEMA, set for release in October, which embodies the very same analog ethos as the live show. A Greek translation of 'movement' or 'to move', the album symbolizes Kölsch's musical evolution and growing artistic voice over the years.

“‘KINEMA’ is a reflection of my journey as an artist," tells Kölsch. "It’s about revisiting the music that shaped my career and giving it new life, creating a unique experience that blends nostalgia with innovation. Performing live allows me to connect with the audience in a way that’s deeply personal”

With a career defined by introspective melodies and genre-defining productions, Kölsch has long stood at the forefront of melodic techno. Together with KINEMA, 'Kölsch and the Machine' cements his reputation as an artist unafraid to innovate, inviting fans inside the creative circuitry to experience his music in its most raw and immediate form. Get your pre-sale tickets for the tour on July 30 at 10am BST / 11am CET and keep an eye out for more details around KINEMA in the coming weeks.

Through a fusion of production mastery and deeply emotive techno, Kölsch has become one of the genre’s most singular voices. Building towards his upcoming 'Kölsch and the Machine' live tour and accompanying KINEMA album, he continues to be one of the scene's most defining and beloved figures. With a career spanning genres, global festival stages, and collaborations on his own label IPSO with artists like Michael Mayer, Tiga, and Sasha, Kölsch’s sound bridges raw vulnerability and electronic power. Raised in Copenhagen’s Christiania commune, he draws on a lifetime of artistic exploration to create music that feels both universal and deeply personal, a vision perhaps best captured in his unforgettable Cercle set atop the Eiffel Tower.

In celebration of its 15th Anniversary installment, Chicagoland’s premier electronic music event, North Coast Music Festival, has announced special performances from SVDDEN DEATH: DEADROOM, ATLiens OG Trap Set, and Liquid Stranger B2B ?????? to headline its 360° experiential stage: The Chill Dome. Set beneath an indoor canopy of kaleidoscopic lasers, these exclusive daytime sets will accompany each artist’s evening headlining performances, elevating The Chill Dome from a secondary stage into a centerpiece of the festival and giving fans a rare chance to experience stadium-smashing acts in a more intimate and immersive environment.

North Coast 2025 has also unveiled a medley of stage improvements across its three largest stages - which are now called Stadium: Evolved, Shipyard 360, and Mega Vega. North Coast will return to SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL from Friday, August 29 - August 31, 2025

Debuting in 2021, The Chill Dome - a full soccer field dome with lasers, cushions, and air-conditioning - quickly became a beloved space on the festival grounds, offering Coasties a comfortable respite from the outdoor heat. Initially designed as a stage to feature up-and-coming DJs playing drum n bass, downtempo, lofi, and deep house, North Coast 2024 experimented with a more curated approach to programming, hosting performances from Dr. Fresch with a special drum & bass set, Tape B with a “Driptapes” set, and Levity, who hosted a "Levity and Friends” showcase. Now, to honor the festival’s 15th anniversary, North Coast is elevating The Chill Dome experience once again by featuring the biggest artists to have ever performed in the experiential indoor space.

On Friday, August 29, North Coast will join forces with underground Chicago promoters Redline for ‘Redline presents: The Core,’ featuring a headlining SVDDEN DEATH performance at The Chill Dome. Preceding his SVDDEN DEATH PRESENTS VOYD set at the Mega Vega stage, ‘Redline presents: The Core’ will see the heavy riddim icon showcase a rare ‘DEADROOM’ experience - where fans will witness a deep dive into SVDDEN DEATH’s dark house sound. The daylong takeover will also see Redline transform The Chill Dome into a radiation-soaked, glowing reactor - pushing the space’s production capabilities to their full potential.

On Saturday, August 30, ATLiens will play at The Chill Dome ahead of their headlining performance at the Stadium: Evolved stage. For their daytime show, ATLiens will be bringing an OG Trap Set - a throwback performance designed to immerse fans into the duo’s sonic roots.

Then, on Sunday, August 31, dubstep kingpin Liquid Stranger will make an appearance at The Chill Dome for a special performance preceding his headlining set at Stadium: Evolved - taking fans on a next-level psychedelic journey and going back-to-back with a special guest that has yet to be revealed.

North Coast 2025’s Chill Dome programming isn’t the only way the festival is going big for this year’s instalment - the three-day event’s transformative stage upgrades are also a fitting tribute to its monumental 15-year milestone. North Coast’s main stage, newly titled ‘Stadium: Evolved,’ will feature a custom stage that is 95 feet larger than previous years, as well as an extended DJ booth that protrudes into the crowd, 680 watts of lasers, 270 tanks of C02, 16,000,000 pixels of video, 317,000 watts of sound, and a re-imagined fireworks & pyro system that will be implemented on the stadium roof. Superstar headliners such as Chris Lake, Excision, Zeds Dead, Louis The Child, ATLiens, and REZZ will get to reap the benefits of this epic Stadium Stage renovation.

North Coast’s Shipyard Stage was introduced in 2023 and quickly became a fan favorite, transforming the space into an industrial dance haven with a platform built out of shipping containers. For the festival’s 15th anniversary celebration, North Coast is adapting the Shipyard 360 Stage into an immersive 360° experience by surrounding its newly updated, custom DJ booth with 12 pillars of laser, pyro, CO2, and all-encompassing hi-fi audio. Fans of electronic music icons such as Kaskade, Sofi Tukker, and Galantis will get to experience those artists’ North Coast headlining performances in this unique, wraparound Shipyard 360 update.

North Coast has also unveiled that the Shipyard 360 will feature the Brownies & Lemonade curated stage takeover, taking place on Sunday, August 31. The Brownies & Lemonade programming features a headlining set by trap pioneer RL Grime, with additional performances from orchestral bass music legend Apashe, ascending trap experimenter Juelz, boundary-pushing producer LYNY, UK bass purveyor Taiki Nulight, hard trap enthusiast Control Freak, and internationally acclaimed DJ Yung Singh

Next, North Coast has revealed the new version of The Vega Stage - now called the Mega Vega. Featuring headliners such as SVDDEN DEATH PRESENTS VOYD, Seven Lions, Zedd, Of The Trees, Timmy Trumpet, and deadmau5 (Drum N’ Bass Set), the Mega Vega updates its platform with a 20% larger structure, 450 watts of lasers, 5,160,900 lumens of lighting, 24,600,000 pixels of video, and 135,000 watts of sound - specs that will elevate the space into a spectacular showcase of awe-inspiring production and sound.

North Coast 2025's innovative programming and improved stage designs portend an unforgettable celebration of the festival’s 15-year legacy as a trailblazer in the electronic music industry, consistently procuring top-tier talent with a forward-thinking vision. Beyond its world-class musical offerings, this milestone anniversary invites Coasties to immerse themselves in a dynamic fusion of experiential programming, large-scale art installations, and a diverse array of food, beverage, and shopping vendors, making it an unmissable celebration of music and culture.
