Newcastle native Jerome Price returns to IN / ROTATION on April 29 with his second single on the label, “Mind On Fire,” an afro house number paired with an entrancing topline.

Enlisting the vocal talents of Birmingham’s singer/songwriter Bengle, “Mind On Fire” is an enthralling afro house single that finds the perfect middle ground between moody and melodic. Bengle’s intoxicating vocal croons float effortlessly alongside vibrant chanting harmonies, smooth guitar licks, poignant piano keys, hypnotic woodwind melodies, and a stunning percussive backbone.

Speaking on the creative process behind the record, Jerome Price shares: “As soon as I heard Bengle’s vocals, especially the tribal chants, I knew the track needed to feel raw and organic. I wanted to wrap it in emotional deep piano chords, ambient textures, and warm analog synths to create something moody and hypnotic yet soulful.”

Scheduled for September 19, the event marks the next chapter in Michael Canitrot’s ambitious journey to unite electronic music and cultural heritage, transforming UNESCO World Heritage Sites into highly-immersive audiovisual experiences.

Set against the majestic backdrop of Château de Chambord’s soaring turrets and Renaissance grandeur inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s oeuvre, this open-air performance will fuse electronic music, architectural projection mapping, and immersive lighting design—all live, all in real time. Renowned for his cinematic productions and spectacular shows at iconic monuments around the world, Michael Canitrot will take the stage beneath Chambord’s sprawling 150-meter-wide façade. His signature Monumental experience, featuring bespoke immersive technology and digital art, will bridge history, innovation, and artistic vision.

With 22 editions already completed, including live shows at the Notre-Dame de Paris, Eiffel Tower, Mont-Saint-Michel, Zaragoza’s Basílica del Pilar, and Paris’s Palais Royal, Monumental Tour has drawn more than 60,000 attendees in 2024 alone and reached millions more through its worldwide repercussions.

The September performance is set to be a part concert, part conservation initiative, as a portion of the proceeds will help restore the Château’s François I wing.

Belfast’s boundary-pushing producer returns to Dreamstate to issue his sophomore single, a burst of breakbeat-laced trance euphoria.

Trance Wax returns to Dreamstate Records on April 25th for his sophomore release with the label,“Your Fantasy,” a return to form that employs the ethereal thrills of trance with his discerning breakbeat and techno undertones.

After debuting on Dreamstate Records last December with “Feel Your Love”, the Belfast-based producer returns for another euphoria-soaked offering. “Your Fantasy” is fashioned with precision for the peaktime; yet it’s the devilish details that point to his extensive background as a trailblazing producer, which is true whether he’s releasing as Trance Wax or his renowned house-and-techno alias, Ejeca.

“Your Fantasy” is Trance Wax at his most uplifting, an unabashed homage to the 2000-era classics that he grew up on. It’s also interwoven with the signature breakbeats he often draws upon to infuse his trance productions with a modern, forward-facing take on the ever-evolving genre. Featuring a dreamy, velvety topline that meshes beautifully with its ebullient pad swells and dashing arpeggios, the hook is bolstered by the sweet, thumping pulse of its invigorating kick. The finishing touch comes with its sprinkle of breakbeats that arrives during the final breakdown, which puts a nice little ribbon on his intoxicating creation—effectively encapsulating the surreal sensation of being high on pure love.

Trance Wax confirms “Your Fantasy” pays tribute to the post-millenium trance music that offered so much inspiration during his formative years. “This is my homage to growing up listening to trance in the 2000s era,” he says. “It’s meant to bring back the euphoria of trance in its infancy, yet with fresh sounds. Simple but emotive.”

It’s this same approach that defines the success of Trance Wax; capturing the timeless essence of trance while infusing it with a refreshing aesthetic. Known otherwise as Garry McCartney, he’d already earned an esteemed reputation as a house and techno producer (under his Ejeca alias) when he launched his Trance Wax experiment in 2016. Discreetly remixing trance classics and seeding them to an eager fanbase via limited vinyl-only runs, Trance Wax quickly took on a life of its own.

In 2020, he finally began releasing officially as Trance Wax, and the rest is history. Embraced with open arms by the likes of Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren, he’s since delivered a steady stream of singles, EPs, and remixes, along with two full-length artist albums, following up his self-titled debut in 2021 with the expansive ‘Open Up The Night’ in 2023. His talents are equally impressive on the live side, performing at some of the most prestigious dancefloors around the world. He’s fresh off his recent US debut closing out the Dreamstate San Francisco gathering at the beginning of April, and is pressing onward as he prepares for his first appearance at EDC Las Vegas on the quantumVALLEY stage, presented by Dreamstate.
