SWISS MUSICAL POWERHOUSE EDX DROPS FIRST SINGLE OF 2023 RENASCENCE

Closing 2022 with his magical track, So Good, Swiss dance music stalwart EDX returns to the release front to showcase what he has been working on over the winter months. Marking his first release of the year with an epic cut, Renascence is out now on PinkStar Records.

BLINDERS JUST RELEASED NEW TRACK 'PRAYER' OUT NOW ON STMPD RCRDS

Blinders is back with a brand new festival and club banger that is sure to get fans on their feet and dancing. The song, titled 'Prayer', combines Blinders' signature sounds and energetic drops with a powerful techno breakdown. What sets this track apart is the addition of a catchy, melancholic female vocal that gives it a unique and captivating atmosphere.

The initial idea for the song started a few years ago when Blinders wanted to combine his signature sounds with a powerful techno breakdown. The result is a dark and futuristic track that draws inspiration from nature, particularly the alien-looking insect, Praying Mantis.

Blinders said, "I've been inspired by nature since I can remember. This time, I wanted to make a song that will be my sound vision of this alien-looking insect called Praying Mantis. My focus was on making it sound a bit dark and futuristic. I started this song before the pandemic when I was preparing music for Tomorrowland. Then the pandemic came, and I postponed working on this idea. The working title was 'Mantis,' but actually, when I came back to this idea, I found this acapella that seemed to fit the instrumental very well. In this context, it was nice to think about it as a prayer. That's how I made 'Prayer'."

'Prayer' was recently premiered by Martin Garrix during his two big main stage shows at Tomorrowland Winter and Ultra Miami in March this year. The release of 'Prayer' marks the start of a new chapter in Blinders' life and music career. Following the release of both the original version and dub mix of 'Prayer', Blinders will be heading back on tour, starting with a big college festivals tour in Poland at the end of May.

Dutch powerhouse Julian Jordan is unleashing his high-energy floor filler ‘Aspirin’, co-released through STMPD RCRDS and Tomorrowland Music today! Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Julian Jordan shared, "It's a commonly used meme in the Netherlands, one that I heard a lot during my shows in The Netherlands, but I was always surprised that people didn't know that joke abroad. So, I wanted to bring the meme with me abroad and translate it to the dance floor."

Having kicked off with the first two releases ‘P.R.O.G.2’ by DubVision and ‘Aspirin’ by Julian Jordan, more brand-new music by label boss Martin Garrix, Matisse & Sadko, Sentinel, Fancy Inc and Goodboys will be unveiled in the coming months leading up to Tomorrowland. Closing off bigger than ever, both labels will be co-hosting the STMPD RCRDS x Tomorrowland Music stage at Tomorrowland Belgium on Saturday July 22.
