Accompanied by Tim Engelhardt Remix

Keeping momentum high in the run up to the release of his album, Feathers & Bones, set for release on May 26, Rodriguez Jr. unveils his next single, Visions featuring Liset Alea.  Accompanied by a masterful remix by German producer Tim Engelhardt, Visions is out now on Feathers & Bones.

Stream / Purchase: Rodriguez Jr. – Visions Feat. Liset Alea (incl. Tim Engelhardt Remix)

Exuding a profound presence, the expertly crafted cut interlaces Liset’s captivating vocals with mesmerising instrumentation. Demonstrating their undeniable chemistry once again, Visions joins their recent collaboration Amplify, which continues to work its magic in sets and playlists all around the globe.

Taking the track to a different dimension, Cologne-based artist Tim Engelhardt applies his unique touch to Visions. Orchestrating a complex arrangement before introducing Liset’s vocals, the remix explores different heights with celestial synths and driving bass.

Speaking about Visions, Liset Alea said:

"Visions is an ode to our relationship, its climactic nature of always reaching for a higher synthesis with one another. Love gave us a different outlook, a dream-like vision of life, a fleeting but powerful moment from which we felt we could do anything, change our lives, even be our true selves. This is the place I try to enter with this song.”

While some follow trends, others set them. Rodriguez Jr. – also known as Olivier Mateu – has spent over twenty years in the industry; with his vast experience of all genres of electronic music positioning him as the visionary of melodic house and techno that he is today. With early mentorship from the legendary Laurent Garnier, Rodriguez Jr. gradually honed his style into the dynamic, colourful sound of beauty that can be regularly found on Mobilee, Anjunadeep, Armada, and demanded on remixes for Stephan Bodzin, Monolink, Booka Shade, Eli & Fur, Jan Blomqvist, Röyksopp, NTO, Tricky, Timo Maas, and many more. Dedicated to infusing every ounce of his creativity into his productions and performances, Rodriguez Jr. is undoubtedly one of the scene’s most captivating artists.

One of Israel’s most celebrated DJs and producers, HEVI LEVI, has enjoyed a stellar start to 2023. Following the lauded release of his Mad World charity single in January and his Moon EP in March, the Tel Aviv-based talent now returns to the release radar as he dives deep into the untapped corners of his hard drive, to present a compilation of ten hidden gems to download for free. Secret Ingredients features a host of HEVI LEVI originals, remixes and collaborations – both released and unreleased – and is available to download from May 5.

A staunch contributor to the circuit, HEVI LEVI’s selection of records has been crafted with the dancefloor in mind, all of which are regular inclusions within his radio mixes and touring DJ playlists. Remixing the likes of Florence + the Machine’s You’ve Got The Love and Example’s Changed The Way You Kiss Me, the Israeli talent gives us further insight into his diverse production style; taking mainstream pop samples and presenting them in a techno-leaning format. The ten track-strong Secret Ingredients collection also features the subsequent extended version of his charity single, Mad World, as well as a nod to The Cranberries’ Zombie with his original cut, Cranberries Love.

In addition to his originals, HEVI LEVI’s Secret Ingredients also plays host to a number of previously released collaborations with long-term friends and affiliates. His joint efforts with Lian Gold on Submarine and Dean Miroshnikov on Losing Control stood as key releases within his 2020 catalogue and are now enjoying a fresh introduction to the dance music community. The globally adored No Spoon, alongside MORESO was a high-impact take on the classic 90’s hit by Jam & Spoon, which celebrated its official release in 2022. Shortly after, HEVI LEVI and ASHER SWISSA unveil their single Ten Elephants; a slice of progressive house gold which samples the legendary Walking with Elephants from Ten Walls. Both of these 2022-released offerings are making their welcome return to the release radar under this brand-new, free download assemblage.

Completing the anthology of cuts, HEVI LEVI treats us to two never-before-heard productions. Taking on the ever-popular DJ, Ease My Mind by Niki & The Dove, the Joy Records label head guides us into heavier waters, giving us a groove-inducing deep tech cut that’s apt for late-night listening. The second new opus is a debut collaboration with Joy Records mainstay Marcovits on In Search For Silence. Rapturous in its melodic effect, the cut provides plenty of intrigue and originality with its replete synth work and celestial vocal line.

DECIBEL OPEN AIR ANNOUNCES 2023 LINEUP FEATURING AMELIE LENS, MICHAEL BIBI, PAUL KALKBRENNER AND MORE

Decibel Open Air is back in Florence from 9-10 September 2023, after the recently sold out Easter Edition and last year’s event gathering fifty thousand attendees, with thirty percent coming outside of Italy, the legendary electronic festival is revealing the first names of their incredible lineup.

Decibel Open Air 2023 offers one the best of the electronic music acts with  Moderat (live), Paul Kalkbrenner (live), Peggy Gou, Michael Bibi, Amelie Lens, Salmo (live), Lazza (live), Boris Brejcha, Loco Dice B2b Jamie Jones, Camelphat, Meduza, I Hate Models, Folamour, WhoMadeWho, Nico Moreno, Trym, 999999999, Indira Paganotto, Charlie Sparks, Klangkuenstler, Anfisa Letyago, Adiel, Daria Kolosova, Raven, Amémé, Honey Luv, Brina Knauss, Luca Agnelli, Dov'è Liana, Pôngo, Mattia Trani, Speaking Mind and many others. A huge line up with best live and dj sets, an excellent mix of techno and house and other eclectic sounds.

Paul Kalkbrenner comes back to Decibel Open Aor for the third time. Coming from the golden age of techno and turning twelve when the Berlin Wall fell, he spent his teenage years raving, before starting to DJ and collect records as electronic dance music’s first tidal wave spilled throughout the city. He realized early that DJing wasn’t for him, and has focused on producing and playing his own music live ever since.

Sitting somewhere between Detroit, London and Berlin in sound, Peggy Gou dj sets are an assured, kinetic combination of dark, pulsing house and techno, broken beats and abstract compositions.

Michael Bibi is a name that resonates with many. His sound and productions (Solid Grooves) are instantly recognizable: thanks to them he has soundtracked nights and  events across the globe in Ibiza, London, New York, Buenos Aires and Tulum.

Decibel Open Air is going to be very much strengthened thanks to a huge line up and many novelties. Most of all, a new location: an area of over hundred thousand square meters, able to improve services and logistics. All the details will be revealed very soon.
