This release is a big sonic shift from Famba’s past work. “I'm really happy with how it all came together. I came into this project wanting a change, coming back to my roots in dance music and staying there. I want to break the mold in the DJ world and be known as a songwriter as well as a producer. I think it's so important to have a voice, be a part of the entire process of crafting a song”.

Famba co-crafted almost all of the lyrics on the EP. “Songwriting is such an important part of my life. It allows me to create worlds and tell stories [from] my past and present. With Wishes Vol. 2, I wanted to focus on songwriting first and make sure the songs were personal to me.”

This second offering from his Wishes series shows off Famba’s chops as one of the catchiest dance-pop producers on the scene.
