DUTCH PRODUCER HUMINAL DEBUTS ON PURIFIED RECORDS WITH LUCID EP

With an impressive discography that spans some of the planet’s most in-demand imprints, including This Never Happened, Einmusika and ZeroThree, Dutch producer Huminal debuts on Purified Records with his most requested body of work to-date, his two-track Lucid EP.

Crafting a majestic soundscape, the title track blends melodic, soaring synths with elements of trance and deep house to achieve a radiant, hybrid composition. In Flow, Huminal devises a dreamy arrangement, weaving undulating synth patterns, rhythmic percussion, and delicate keys. Exploring two powerful states of mind: Lucid embodies the sensation of sudden clarity—the moment when everything snaps into focus, and you see the world with sharpness and purpose. Flow is a tribute to life's natural rhythms, capturing the feeling of being in perfect sync. It's a soundtrack for those moments when you're fully immersed in the present, moving with confidence and joy.

Speaking about the release, Huminal mentioned:

“Excited to release the Lucid EP with Purified! Both tracks, Lucid and Flow, have been well received during my festival sets and when Nora En Pure supported them. I’ve never had so many ID requests leading up to a release, and I couldn’t be happier to release these on Purified.” — Huminal

The Lucid EP artwork hosts a photograph of corals, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Corals are essential marine invertebrates that form the backbone of coral reefs, supporting biodiversity by offering habitat and protection to marine species. They rely on a symbiotic relationship with photosynthetic algae called zooxanthellae, which provide the energy necessary for coral growth and calcification. However, in Australia, the Crown of Thorns Starfish (Acanthaster planci) is causing severe damage to coral reefs by preying on the coral polyps, leading to widespread coral decline. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (@gbrmarinepark) is actively addressing this threat through science-based strategies, such as targeted starfish culling and coral restoration initiatives, to preserve reef health and resilience. FRENCH PRODUCER AALSON GRACES PURIFIED RECORDS WITH DAYLIGHT EP

Renowned for his deep and powerful creations, chartered on imprints including Spectrum, This Never Happened and Purified Records, French producer Aalson returns to Purified with his explorative three-track Daylight EP.

The title track encapsulates the magic of daylight in sonic form, blending gentle instrumentation and glowing synths across flowing basslines. Moving into Echoes Of Dawn, nature samples are paired with breakbeat patterns to achieve a poignant and touching atmosphere. Closing with Dreamland, Aalson builds a cinematic arrangement that fuses classical and contemporary elements to dramatic effect.

Speaking about the release, Aalson mentioned:

The Daylight EP is an exploration of the different ways I use the piano in my productions and play with the different lights it brings to a piece of music. I wanted to offer three different axes of my music with the piano as the centerpiece, including a melodic house 4/4 track (representing daylight), then a breakbeat (representing the light of dawn) and finally, a fully cinematic project (representing the blurred light of a dream).” – Aalson.

Passionate about film music and techno, Aalson creates his own universe by crossing these two strong influences. Guided by his feelings, he developed a personal taste and a subtle approach to production, loaded with feelings along the years. With his releases on Spectrum, Purified and Sinners, he has defined his style and offers an expressive sonic journey of rare power. His live show will tell you a story worthy of a movie, finding the sweet spot between melancholy and epic moments.

The Daylight EP artwork showcases a magnificent shot of a humpback whale gliding through the ocean. Humpback whales are known for their long migrations, traveling up to 16,000 miles annually between feeding and breeding grounds. These whales are also famous for their complex songs, which can last for hours and are thought to play a role in communication and mating.
