BÈRF AND GPU TEAM UP FOR ‘RITMO ACIDO’

OUT NOW VIA MADE BY ROBOTS

Berlin-based genre alchemist BÈRF has joined forces once again with AI-powered project GPU – helmed by Luigi Borelli – for unifying new single ‘Ritmo Acido’ – out now via Berlin AI art platform Made By Robots

Speaking about the collaboration BÈRF explained, “As a music producer and language enthusiast, I speak many languages and enjoy combining different linguistic elements in my compositions in a surreal way (since I love surreal art). My passion for acid sounds, with their hypnotic and psychedelic tones, is a central part of my musical identity. These preferences and interests inspired me to create the track "Ritmo Acido" together with GPU.

By blending four languages that sound similar (French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian), we create a surreal soundscape that resembles a single language. ‘Ritmo Acido’ emerged from our shared deep desire to unite the diversity of languages and the universal nature of music. The track is an experiment and a homage to the power of communication beyond words. By mixing four different languages, we aimed to show that despite linguistic differences, there exists a common language: that of music and body movement.

This is not the first time I have collaborated with GPU. Our previous track, ‘Drop Out,’ was an exciting mix of several genres, featuring a cool deep house minimal beat and a surprising electric guitar solo played by GPU. With ‘Ritmo Acido’ we continue our surreal journey together, creating another fascinating collaboration full of magic.”

Released on September 20th, as a special gift to celebrate BÈRF’s birthday: ‘Ritmo Acido’ is a new song that transcends the boundaries of language and music, allowing all listeners to immerse themselves in a shared musical world. Because we all speak the same language: Body Language.

TRAILBLAZING ARTIST KNOCK2 UNVEILS “FEEL U LUV ME” AS THE FIRST SINGLE TO DROP FROM HIS FORTHCOMING, DEBUT ALBUM NOLIMIT

The highly-anticipated ID samples "TBH" by PARTYNEXTDOOR

“‘feel U luv Me’ originated while ISOxo and I were working on music at a coffee shop. I was making a new intro for 2023 festivals, sampling my favorite R&B artist, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and that’s how the song came to life. I began playing it live, and it quickly became one of my standout tracks. I'm excited to share it with the world since so many fans already know and love it.” - Knock2

“feel U luv Me” comes on the heels of headlining Knock2 performances at Electric Forest and Ultra Music Festival (in a b2b with RL Grime), as well as sets at Outside Lands and Bonnaroo

Following sold out shows in Seattle and Brooklyn, as well as headlining sets at Coachella, North Coast Music Festival, and ULTRA Japan, ISOKNOCK (the collaborative duo of Knock2 and ISOxo) will close out 2024 with two special, multi-day events (which sold 50k combined tickets instantly during their pre-sales)

November 20 - 22: Bay Area 4EVR - celebrating ISOKNOCK’s critically-acclaimed, debut LP 4EVR

December 7 - 8: San Diego 4EVR - ISOKNOCK’s hometown debut, featuring performances from Madeon, RL Grime, Peekaboo, Snow Strippers, glaive, Brutalismus 3000, and more

Trailblazing artist Knock2 is gearing up for the biggest creative statement of his young artist career. At only 24 years old, the San Diego-native has spent the past half-decade releasing global hits like “dashstar*” and “Rock Ur World” (festival mainstay anthems that have amassed a combined 100 million+ streams across platforms), performing at major festivals around the world, and making waves with his collaborative duo project ISOKNOCK (Knock2 + ISOxo).

Now, Knock2 is getting ready to drop his debut album, NOLIMIT, which he first announced during his and ISOxo’s four consecutive sold out shows at LA’s Shrine Auditorium last fall.

To kick off the album roll-out, Knock2 has unveiled “feel U luv Me,” the highly-anticipated first single from the forthcoming album. The long-awaited ID was first teased at HARD Summer and Lollapalooza in 2023, and has since become a mainstay in Knock2’s sets - a year-long build up that has set an acute tone for the impending NOLIMIT experience.

feel U luv me” kicks off with a euphoric club vocal before transitioning into a nostalgic piano line underscored by a vocal sample pulled from PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “TBH.” The track then builds into its central, blazing synth chord progression before dropping into a bouncy beat that revolves around the PARTYNEXTDOOR sample - a cacophony of infectious melodies that speaks to Knock2’s keen sense for combining booming electronic soundscapes with imminently catchy pop elements.

Fans can hear Knock2 play “feel U luv Me” and other NOLIMIT tracks at his upcoming collaborative sets with ISOKNOCK, who have special, multi-day events planned at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Auditorium and San Diego’s Snapdragon Stadium. Having instantly sold 50k-combined tickets during their respective pre-sales, the San Francisco Bay Area 4EVR shows will take place from Wednesday, November 20 - Friday, November 22, 2024, and the homecoming, sold out San Diego 4EVR run, which will feature support from Madeon, RL Grime, Peekaboo, Snow Strippers, glaive, Brutalismus 3000, and more, will take place from Saturday December 7 - Sunday, December 8, 2024.

These remaining ISOKNOCK shows will conclude a 2024 tour run in support of the duo’s recent debut album, 4EVR, which saw them perform at sold out events in Seattle and Brooklyn, as well as festivals such as Coachella, ULTRA Japan, and North Coast Music Festival, where they made history by performing from a suspended shipping container.

TRIVECTA RELEASES SOPHOMORE ALBUM ‘FIND MY WAY’

OUT NOW ON OPHELIA RECORDS

Excited to announce the release of Trivecta’s sophomore studio album ‘Find My Way’ on Ophelia. The album comes two years after his full-length debut with ‘The Way Back Up’, which saw Trivecta carve out his own sonic identity and lane within the highly popular melodic bass space. Like on the last record, he shows

an impressive range of diversity, jumping from folk-tinged melodic dubstep to experimental bass, golden-age electro house and even banging techno.

Trivecta has been one of the fastest growing acts on the label and in the wider bass scene online and in the live circuit. Not only have his releases garnered support from artists like Illenium, Gryffin, Don Diablo and The Chainsmokers, but he’s collaborated with SLANDER, Seven Lions, Excision, Wooli, Kill The Noise, Jason Ross and even Scott Stapp from Creed. Just since his last album, he’s played direct support for Illenium at SoFi Stadium, Red Rocks, The Gorge, The LA Convention Center and Echostage and his first Ultra Music Festival, where he teased the new album tracks.

The full album release will be accompanied by a headline tour, a recorded DJ set in the Colorado mountains, new forest press shots, a mini-documentary and more. The campaign will culminate with the album date release of “Light In The Dark”, the highly anticipated follow-up to Seven Lions, Wooli and Trivecta’s 2019 Billboard dance charting hit “Island”.

Alongside the release, Trivecta announced the first leg of his album which will include over 30 dates from October 2024 to March 2025.

On a personal level “Find My Way” has a running theme of reconnecting with myself, journeying through the highs and lows of life and letting them shape me, surrendering to them as a means of allowing them to help me get in better touch with my inner voice, and letting them help me feel and love more deeply.

Creatively the album is me realizing that in order to continue to grow as an artist I need to keep searching inwards, bravely channeling more of my unique influences - most significantly folk music - to create something fresh. Tonally I wanted to innovate too; the scene of melodic bass music has grown oversaturated with dreary songs about heartbreak; I wanted to make an album that refreshes the scene with a much more optimistic take on the sound. We’ve cried about breakups enough already; it’s time to heal.

This is an album full of the organic energy of nature; it’s for fans who love to explore and travel, who would just as soon sit around a campfire as they would go to a rave. As the first single says, “I could trade an open sky for fallen trees and city lights till endless seas and rivers wide could feel like home.” - Trivecta

As the official record label of melodic dubstep leader Seven Lions, Ophelia Records is a label that promotes independent dance music across a wide range of genres.
