RETROVISION CREATED A SPONTANEOUS TRACK ‘CAN YOU FEEL IT’ OUT NOW ON STMPD RCRDS

Retrovision began Can You Feel It as a spontaneous flip of an old Austrian classic, created for a massive gig in Austria back in June. The track quickly evolved, becoming a staple in RetroVision's live sets and a crowd favorite.

With the energy of every performance, the track took on new life during its development, inspired by the vision of Martin Garrix playing it on the biggest stages. Just months later, Garrix was spinning it himself, solidifying its status as a high-energy anthem.

Can You Feel It embodies the vibrant, feel-good energy that RetroVision is known for, delivering an irresistible groove that ignites dancefloors worldwide.

MATISSE N SADKO INSPIRED BY THEIR TRAVELS TO CREATE THE TRACK ‘HIMALAYA’

OUT NOW ON STMPD RCRDS

Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of Nepal, Himalaya is a track born from adventure and creativity. The idea came during a tour in Nepal, where the immense heights of the mountains sparked inspiration.

During the trip, Matisse and Sadko had the honor of meeting Mingma Sherpa, a renowned Nepali mountaineer. His incredible stories of summiting peaks added another layer of depth and energy to the track’s concept. The first sketches of Himalaya were crafted in Nepal, capturing the raw beauty and power of the mountains.

Back in Amsterdam, they collaborated with Martin Garrix to refine the main melody, bringing the track to life. Just before heading to perform at the Sziget Festival, the final touches were added, completing a track that resonates with the spirit of the Himalayas.

LIMINAL MX DROPS DEBUT ALBUM TITLED ‘SAVE ME’ ON ELIF’S MARGINALIA IMPRINT!

Rising Mexican talent Liminal MX steps up for Marginalia’s first ever album, marking a huge milestone for the label with a fresh, authentic and thought-provoking project titled ‘Save Me’. Transcending physical and mental boundaries, this seven track showcase arrived on Friday, 13th December 2024.

Liminal MX is a genre bending newcomer whose music is designed to take listeners to a space of introspection and spiritual liberation. His alias is drawn from a word that "represents the idea of being nowhere, neither physically nor mentally, but rather in an authentic and spiritual place within oneself”. The creative process behind Liminal takes place in the artist's studio, where the mind is freed and immersed in the search for unique rhythms and movement.

His studio work blends influences from deep house with organic percussion from afro, lush harmonies and melancholic melodies and smart R&B vocals to create an atmosphere that invites reflection and exploration of the deepest emotions. He has already released independently, as well as on Tortuga and now Marginalia whilst playing plenty of Europe's finest clubs.

First up, Liminal MX collaborates with Baqsy on ‘Hold Forever’ feat. Maria Caan which has frazzled bass and eerie pads all finished with a haunting vocal that draws you in deep. Next up, ‘Save Me’ is a tasteful minimal sound with spine tingling chords and deft vocal touches whilst ‘With Me’ layers up rubbery, rolling drums with supple synths and heart aching female croons. Meanwhile, ‘Remember’ keeps the drums flowing with more vocals that convey a real sense of pain and then brings beeping synth sequences to soft drum loops for more celestial escape. ‘Feel Me’ uses punchy, futuristic pads before leading into a hypnotic, distorted vocal cut whilst soft piano chords and ethereal elements echo throughout. ‘Fast Line’ adds texture to the deepness with some dirty guitar riffs acting as a nice edgy counter to the angelic vocals whilst ‘Complicated’ shuts down like a soothing deep house hymn for late night contemplation.

This accomplished album makes for a fully immersive journey through the forward thinking and emotional soundscapes of Liminal MX.
