Chinois is the first club to open and last to close for yet another year running. And TRIP, the notorious island favourite party, known for it’s underground sounds curated by Johannes Goller, returns to the Sonic Temple to end the season with a bang. TRIP has been a part of the club’s history since they first opened their doors, both via full residencies, and bookending the summer season. Kicking off with a week of returning favourites, names synonymous with TRIP from the beginning; Get-traum founder Traumer, Romania’s Margaret Dygas, minimal master Maher Daniel, whilst rising underground selector Mau BB makes his TRIP debut.
Wednesday 14th October – Jonny Rock B2B Magda, O.Bee B2B Tomas Station, Tania Vulcano B2B Hugo Martinez
A night of 3 scintillating B2Bs from some of electronic music’s finest. Charismatic underground stalwart Jonny Rock & Polish-born, Detroit-raised Magda… Jigit co-founders, O.Bee & Tomas Station, famed for their dynamic B2B marathon sets… Isla Blanca legend & Circoloco mainstay Tania Vulcano & Basque country-born, Ibiza based contemporary talent & TRIP regular Hugo Martinez.
Saturday 24th October – Traumer, Arapu, Cesar Vinzent, Isbel
Traumer returns, joined by Liniar label head Bucharest’s Arapu, plus fresh talents & TRIP/island favourites Cesar Vinzent and Isbel.
Sunday 1st November – Ricardo Villalobos, Sonja Moonear, Maher Daniel
Ricardo returns for his now legendary annual TRIP; the last artist to play at Chinois for the third year running before the doors close until the spring, now an unmissable final show of the season. Swiss DJ/producer/Ruta5 label head Sonja Moonear returns too, with Maher Daniel supporting.
