Spanish-Moroccan producer appears for the first time on Mutate Records with high-intensity hard techno track
Global techno powerhouse Fatima Hajji debuts on Insomniac's Mutate Records with her new single. "I'm Feeling" is a high pressure hard techno track following a driving schranz framework.
Born in Salamanca, Fatima Hajji is a Spanish-Moroccan producer channeling her Arab roots to concoct her own strain of hard techno, experimenting with tribal drums, industrial tones, and African influences. Her one-of-a-kind shows and profound connection with her audience has solidified her position as one of electronic music’s most influential figures.
The vocal hook in “I’m Feeling” is looped and processed into a hypnotic refrain that reinforces its surreal lyrical theme. Fast-paced drums drive the momentum, while white noise risers, weighty kicks, sweeping effects, and sharp synths build a high-intensity warehouse atmosphere.
Fatima has received regular support from industry heavyweights including Charlotte de Witte, Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, Nico Moreno, Lilly Palmer and Deborah De Luca. She recently performed a Face 2 Face set with Cera Khin hosted by Verknipt at Ziggo Dome and a B2b with Alignment at Kappa Futur Festival Torino Italy.
Her Summer Tour schedule includes festival sets at Time Warp, Awakenings, elrow Town Festival, Escape, ING Silesia Beats, Kappa FuturFestival, Monegros Desert Festival, Aquasella, Medusa, Marvellous Island, as well as 'Fatima Hajji Invites' showcases at OFF BCN, Wake Up Festival, and a Pyramid residency at Amnesia Ibiza.
