OUT NOW ON OPHELIA RECORDS
Melodic dance artist Trivecta releases “Watch The Stars / Leave The Light On” off his highly-anticipated sophomore album. “Watch The Stars” is a psychedelic bass banger with an otherworldly vocal interpolation of Carl Sagan and gnarly guitar riffs from Trivecta himself. B-side “Leave The Light On” features vocals from folk band sød ven on the return home after a long journey alongside drops of shimmering melodic bass and heavy trap. Alongside the release, Trivecta announced the first leg of his album which will include over 30 dates from October 2024 to March 2025.
The album comes two years after his full-length debut with ‘The Way Back Up’, which saw Trivecta carve out his own sonic identity and lane within the highly popular melodic bass space. Like on the last record, he shows an impressive range of diversity, jumping from folk-tinged melodic dubstep to experimental bass, golden-age electro house and even banging techno.
Trivecta has been one of the fastest growing acts on the label and in the wider bass scene online and in the live circuit. Not only have his releases garnered support from artists like Illenium, Gryffin, Don Diablo and The Chainsmokers, but he’s collaborated with SLANDER, Seven Lions, Excision, Wooli, Kill The Noise, Jason Ross and even Scott Stapp from Creed. Just since his last album, he’s played direct support for Illenium at SoFi Stadium, Red Rocks, The Gorge, The LA Convention Center and Echostage and his first Ultra Music Festival, where he teased the new album tracks.
With a soundscape such as theirs, it’s no wonder why so many of sød ven’s fans first think that they’re Nordic. If you close your eyes you'll almost feel as if you're floating through the Scandinavian Mountains. Surrounded by a blanket of orchestral vocal melodies, sweeping cellos and a pulsating key pattern you won't be able to help but feel something euphoric.
