Belgian-born but Valencia-based DJ, producer and label boss Kenn Colt continues to bring the Latin house heat, this time on Soave Dusk with the help of Gavss, Addiel LS & El Palma.
This time around, Kenn Colt teams up with some of the premiere talent of the Mexican tech house scene in Gavss and Addiel LS, while also providing a platform for newcomer to the scene and fellow Mexican El Palma. As the group fuse their individual influences together, which is of course dominated by that infectious Latin infused groove, they create a bouncy and energetic soundscape perfect for any warm weather party across the world this summer. Tech house rhythms litter the track, which are accompanied by trickling drum patterns, an emphatic horn sample which really brings out that South American feel and a catchy vocal lead from upcoming urban singer El Palma. Overall, ‘Mueve Ese Booty’ is a summer ready, deep and groovy Latin tech house record releasing on Soave Dusk!
Originally from Belgium, the talented producer has been based in Valencia mastering his production craft for some time now. Incorporating elements of Latin house into his tech house sound to arrive at a sonic profile that stands out amongst the rest. As a DJ, producer, radio show host and label boss, Colt tirelessly works to expand and broaden his horizons as a music producer in the scene. Colt is a resident DJ at Club Versuz and has performed at the biggest and best festivals around the world, including the likes of Tomorrowland, Ultra South Korea, Sunburn Festival and many others. His unique sound mind-blowing work ethic have garnered the attention of David Guetta and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, both of which Colt has had the pleasure of supporting on stage!
Teamed up with a tandem of super talented Mexican producers in Gavss and Addiel LS, and vocal help from El Palma, Kenn Colt is able to really pull form the source in his attempt to capture the Latin essence present in this record. Hailing from Yucatan, Mexico, Addiel LS has been making a name for himself in local circles and beyond as of late, thanks to his releases like ‘Waiting’ and ‘Back To You’ which have garnered the attention of Alok, Sick Individuals, Dannic and more. Also hailing from the city of Yucatan, Gavss brings his signature sound to the party. Starting his production journey at just 15 years old, Gavss was something of a prodigy in his early years and it’s safe to say that the young selector is definitely on the way to realising his potential. Releasing on Don Diablo’s label Hexagon and being supported by the Dutch legend is definitely helping that! Lastly, El Palma jumps on board to provide the catchy and robust vocal line on what is his biggest project to date – big things to come from the upcoming urban vocalist!
