The tastemaker and skilled house music producer makes his debut on Insomniac’s offshoot imprint.
Manchester-bred producer TCTS is making his debut appearance on Insomniac’s IN / ROTATION offshoot imprint with his latest tech house single, “Desire.”
TCTS is a renowned tastemaker and house music producer from England known for his signature blend of club-centered grooves and pop-friendly sensibilities. "Desire" lives up to its name, with its intoxicating vocal hook kindling the flame that fuels throbbing basslines, shuffling drums, sharp percussive accents, and flanging synth flourishes.
TCTS spoke about the creation and importance of the track, saying, "I wrote Desire purely with the dancefloor in mind. Something for my USBs that I'd look forward to dropping in my sets. I'm so excited for it to land and absolutely buzzing that it's on one of my favourite labels.”
TCTS harnesses significant weight behind his name, holding his Friday night residency on KISS FM UK, as well as maintaining a hefty crossover catalog - singles “Go” and “Sorry” both sitting at over 25 million Spotify streams, and Latin tech house weapon “Fuego” approaching 6 million streams. His music has enjoyed regular radio support from Radio1 Party Anthems, Arielle Free (Radio 1), Danny Howard (Radio 1), Pete Tong (Radio 1), Majestic ‘Fresh Off The Press’ (KISS), and the Kiss Dance Playlist. He has upcoming shows at D4D4NCE Ibiza and KISS Ibiza this summer.
With his latest release, “Desire,” TCTS makes a grand entrance to IN / ROTATION with a dynamic, club-ready track that showcases his exceptional talent as a producer and his deep connection to the dance scene.
TCTS fuses club musicality, progressive experimentation and airtight production, with unassuming pop appeal, to create transformative moments on the dancefloor, at a festival, on the radio and beyond.
Since sending a demo to BBC Introducing, TCTS has risen through the ranks, from his beginnings on the esteemed GrecoRoman Records (These Heights), and MTA (Games & Body EPs), to Do It Like Me (Icy Feet) ft. Kelis & Sage The Gemini on Ministry of Sound, which has 12 million Spotify streams. Since then he has released with household names including, Defected, Toolroom, CR2 records, Selected, Armada, Astralwerks and securing a Friday night residency on KISS fm. Acclaim has come from Pitchfork, i-D, MTV, Mixmag, The Guardian, and more.
Live highlights feature; Miami Music Week, Printworks and Amnesia Ibiza. With a staggering 100 million streams to date and exciting releases in the pipeline, TCTS continues to grow and evolve, making you feel like you’re back in the club for the first time - every time. 2024 sees a run of 6 releases over 6 months establishing his prolific production skills in a variety of dance genres.
