Featuring an official remix from Sean Doron, the two-part package is out now via Super Sapiens
Hot on the heels of his official remix for Nico Morano’s ‘100 Miles’ at the end of January, Berlin-based producer Re.You continues his abundant run of studio output with the announcement of his brand new single ‘Lose Myself’. Teaming up with renowned Moroccan producers NDRK and Yacine Dessouki – frequent collaborators who recently released their ‘Move’ EP on Re.You’s LSF21+ imprint – the single marks the debut co-production between all three artists and drops alongside an delectable remix from Tel-Aviv based producer Sean Doron.
Out now via Luca Saporito’s Ibiza-based label, Super Sapiens, ‘Lose Myself’ is a delightfully judged Afro House cut with the sort of slow-burning groove that we’ve come to know and love from all three producers’ catalogue of productions. Created with a definitive sense of the journey in mind, tribal percussion, reflective breaks, trippy vocals and epic apex moments converge in perfect accord, as Re.You, NDRK and Yacine transport listeners into their own distinct realm of unadulterated sonic bliss.
Speaking about the collaboration, Re.You commented:
“I met Nadir at Timelapse Festival in Casablanca, where I thoroughly enjoyed his set. We connected and began sharing new music with each other. Eventually, I signed a release for the two artists on my label, LSF21+, and we discussed the possibility of collaborating. Nadir sent me a short idea that I really liked, and we decided to build upon it from there”.
On the flip we see the introduction of long-standing Israeli producer and Scenarios co-founder, Sean Doron, who makes his debut on Super Sapiens with a majestic remix of Re.You, NDRK and Yacine Dessouki’s sublime original. Rolling basslines are pillared by analogue synths, late-night atmospheres and a longing topline, as Sean draws on his wealth of studio experience to unleash a punchy peak-time cut that energizes from the off.
Looking ahead to the rest of the 2024, Re.You is primed for his most fruitful year to date, with a remix in the works for Scorpios Music, further confirmed releases on his own LSF21+ label, a huge collaboration with Paul Brenning (alongside a remix from Avangart Tabldot) as well as another full-length studio album penned for later in the year. As he steps into this next phase of his already star-studded career, he maintains an ethos that has made him one of the most consistent artists of his generation; balance, diversity, fun and great energy. It is this winning combination that will keep him spinning around the world for many years to come.
