Croatian rising star San Pacho returns to Insomniac Records for his sophomore release with “In Your Mind,” a seductive and playful offering showcasing his knack for fusing Latin vibes with cutting-edge tech house, fashioned with finesse for modern dancefloors.
Following his Insomniac Records debut last year with “Tequila,” San Pacho is back to prove he has not let these last 12 months go to waste. He’s worked tirelessly in the studio to polish and evolve his sound, leading to his sultry, most accomplished effort yet. “In Your Mind” showcases a savvy new dimension to his studio prowess, a sizzling house number threaded skilfully around its tantalizing female vocal.
There are some classic house vibes on display, though “In Your Mind” equally looks to the future, as it flirts with laser-focused synth leads, rubbery one-shots, tense horn stabs, and a weighty tech-infused bassline. Flip it over to the B-side, and you’ll find a deeper, darker, altogether more percussion-fueled and hypnotic take on this production in the form of a special “Night Mix” of the main offering.
San Pacho confirms “In Your Night” came together during the wealth of creativity stemming from every corner of the Amsterdam Dance Event last year, when a studio session with vocalist Nottelle manifested into something special. He’s certainly proud of the new stylistic direction he’s steered his producing on his latest Insomniac Records release.
"It was during ADE 2022, when vocalist Nottelle and I had a studio session, and I showed her an instrumental idea that I’d had, and she instantly picked up on it. The rest is history. ‘In Your Mind’ is quite different from the rest of my music to date, and I am really happy I will be able to showcase different styles of my production with this release."
“In Your Mind” represents another successful collaboration with the Insomniac Records imprint following the success of “Tequila” last year, which racked up a massive 1.3 million streams and earned support from heavyweights like Tiesto, Wax Motif, BIJOU, and beyond.
