THIRD SINGLE OFF FORTHCOMING MICROWORLDS ALBUM VIA ODYZEY MUSIC
French multi-talented artist and Odyzey Music label head CloZee releases her new single ‘Skylight’. Arriving with an official music video, ‘Skylight’ serves as the third and final single off her forthcoming album, Microworlds.
Unraveling the latest chapter of Microworlds, ‘Skylight’ is intertwined with the harmonious spirituality of its predecessors. Captivating from start to finish, ‘Skylight’ gracefully soars with warm synths before diving into its soulful, melodic bass drops. A cinematic addition to her forthcoming album, ‘Skylight’ continues to test the bounds of CloZee’s emotionally-evoking sound.
On ‘Skylight’, CloZee said, “‘Skylight’ is the very first tune I composed for the Microworlds album. That was the track that unlocked this new musical journey. I wanted to write a bright, epic and cinematic song to contrast with the darker moments of the COVID period, and try to get me out of my writer’s block. It was the one that opened that door.”
Titled ‘The Embrace’, ‘Skylight’ is a continuation of the themes of self-expression and self-acceptance that have permeated each of CloZee’s recent music videos. Throughout the series, CloZee weaves an inspiring and deeply personal story about finding inner confidence, and having the courage to be yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. In ‘Skylight’, the central character played by dancer Jalen Rashad returns, this time with an air of peace and sense of self-assuredness as he embraces his identity. Following ‘Microworlds’ and ‘Courage’, ‘Skylight’ serves as the final piece in CloZee’s three-part music video series.
‘Skylight’ marks the final piece of Microworlds, and arrives ahead of CloZee’s massive fall headline Microworlds Tour, set to kick off on September 28th.
