ELIMINATE TEAMS UP WITH FELLOW BASS KINGPIN PEEKABOO ON THEIR NEW COLLAB.
Eliminate and PEEKABOO, two of bass music’s finest, connect on their brain-twisting dubstep collab “Quickness,” slated for release on Bassrush Records.
Eliminate makes a valiant return to Bassrush following his massive single “Mind Control,” which originally surfaced on the label back in 2019. Teaming up with bass music kingpin PEEKABOO, the two heavy-hitters jump into the frame with their new collaborative anthem “Quickness.” The wobbly lead, addictive bounce, and pitched-down vocals give the track a powerful sense of bravado. The first drop is deep and devastating with rubbery basslines and precise percussion delivering maximum impact. Menacing vocal chops and swinging drums switch the style up in the break before giving way to the incredible finale. The final drop embraces the weirdness to the max with a metallic bass-heavy punch. From festivals to club sets, and streaming platforms, expect “Quickness” to be one of the year’s biggest bass anthems.
Eliminate pulls back the curtain on the production process: “Quickness came about in a very organic way. PEEKABOO and I were hanging out in 2021 and he was showing me some new plugins, where we stumbled upon the main lead sound. It immediately peaked both of our creative juices so we hopped in the studio and finished the song together in a couple of days.”
Los Angeles-based producer Eliminate has established himself as one of the most innovative minds in bass music, hopping between subgenres with unstoppable finesse. Tracks like “Mula,” “We Don’t Play,” and “Weeble Wobble” have cemented his strong fanbase. Eliminate thrived on the live side in 2022 with an appearance at Nocturnal Wonderland, in addition to a surprise set at EDC Las Vegas as part of the NIGHTMODE label showcase, which was sandwiched between his two most recent singles on the label, “Open Your Eyes” and “Nothing Left,” respectively. Aside from blowing up in the music world, Eliminate has also cracked the algorithm as a viral sensation on TikTok, having grown to 370k followers on the platform from a wealth of hysterical yet enriching content highlighting his one-of-a-kind personality.
Detroit-based producer PEEKABOO has been setting the industry ablaze for the past half-decade. His breakout single “Babatunde” with G-REX was one of the biggest bass songs of 2018, raking up over 5 million plays to date. Meanwhile, his self-released “Here With Me” has nearly doubled that. PEEKABOO is currently finishing his headlining Fall 2022 tour with 16 dates across the US. This past year, he's performed at key festivals including Nocturnal Wonderland, Moonrise, and co-headlined Red Rocks. His upcoming Hollywood Palladium 360 show in Los Angeles is set to be one of his biggest headline shows to date, after the massive success of his first iconic 360 performance at Mission Ballroom this year. To top it all off, PEEKABOO just announced his own headlining date at Red Rocks in April, with support from Minnesota, NotLö, MPort, and the legendary Rusko.
