Seven Lions is releasing his first-ever fully acoustic album 'Opus' in time for the holidays. The album is a collaboration with all-female string quartet ATLYS, who performed with him at The Gorge Amphitheatre at his annual festival Chronicles and the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre to a sold-out singing crowd of 10,000 fans. It includes reimaginings of eight of the most prolific tracks in his decade-long career, including "First Time", "Rush Over Me" and "Worlds Apart", and was arranged by two composers completely from scratch.

Catching his break after winning a Beatport remix contest in 2012 with his dubstep-focused version of Above & Beyond’s “You Got to Go”, Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, garnered support from the likes of Anjunabeats, Casablanca Records, OWSLA, Viper Recordings, Republic Records, and Monstercat over the past eight years. After years of floating around from labels, Seven Lions compiled his own label in 2018 called Ophelia Records. Since its emergence, the melodic bass label has made its imprint being voted the Best Label of 2019 by r/edm, releasing multiple #1 iTunes Dance albums and hosting festival stage takeovers across the country.
