Bass music innovator Kill The Noise announces his first album in 6 years and first major body of work on Ophelia. "Don't Look Back" marks his first single on the label in over 2 years and is his first non-collab release since his debut album in 2015. It acts as vocalist MOELLE's first release and mixes expertly designed bass sounds with complex melodies and exciting rhythms from start to finish. Kill The Noise has been joining the Ophelia acts on the current Pantheon tour on stops in Texas and Colorado, even going back to back with Jason Ross for their first ever set together. His other releases on the label include high profile collabs with Seven Lions on the harrowing dubstep track "The Blood" and the Tritonal/HALIENE melodic bass anthem "Horizon" and he most recently remixed Seven Lions and Andrew Bayer’s collab “Returning To You”.
The music of Jake Stanczak, better known as American producer and DJ, Kill the Noise, was born out of an era where Ridley Scott imagined utopian futures on the silver screen, and artists like NIN and Aphex Twin rocked MTV. After channeling the influences of his youth through over a decades’ worth of forward driven electronic releases (Roots, Kill Kill Kill, Black Magic, Occult Classic), and charismatic live shows (Coachella, EDC Lollapalooza, Hardfest), the name “Kill the Noise” has become synonymous with some of the leading acts in dance music — getting creative in the studio with the likes of Dillon Francis, Deadmau5, AWOLNATION and Skrillex — and as 2020 unfolds, he’ll be unveiling even more material.
As the official record label of melodic dubstep leader Seven Lions, Ophelia is a label that promotes independent dance music and has been the official home for his music since 2018. In just 3 years, Ophelia has become one of the hottest new labels in electronic music thanks to its tight-knit community and ability to connect fans of melodic bass, dubstep, trance, psytrance, drum & bass, house and beyond. With massive releases from acts such as SLANDER, Excision, Kill The Noise, MitiS, Jason Ross, NGHTMRE, Wooli, Trivecta, Blastoyz, Crystal Skies and Last Heroes. Ophelia was voted Best Label and Compilation Album (Ophelia Volume 1) of 2019 by r/edm, has multiple #1 iTunes Dance records and sold out showcases and hosts festival stage takeovers across the country.
