OUT NOW VIA GLASS AIR RECORDS
LA-based duo 29 Palms (Ooah and Boreta of The Glitch Mob) have quickly followed up their official debut (Nobody Horizon - EP) with their two-track EP, Unfolding, now available across all platforms via Glass Air Records.
Unfolding - EP builds on where its predecessor, Nobody Horizon, ended and instantly raises the stakes. The EP begins with its self-titled track, 'Unfolding' and dives headfirst into a heavy bassline and intricate grooves that immediately bring the listener to the dancefloor. We then quickly transition into 'Starsplitter' - which immediately evokes an atmosphere of tribal tones and outdoor gatherings of which the EP was inspired.
"We wrote 'Unfolding' and 'Starsplitter' as an experiment in faster tempos for our set at The Do Lab stage at Coachella in 2019. Initially they were part of the Nobody Horizon EP, but at the last minute we separated them out to let them exist in their own world." - 29 Palms (Ooah + Boreta)
The duo has already left an indelible mark on the festival circuit over the past year, with oft-talked about sets at Lightning in a Bottle, Deja Voom, Electric Forest, and Coachella, and can't wait to return to live performances.
Centered around their first EP release, 29 Palms performed a livestream which was a favorite amongst fans. The duo are planning a follow-up stream in the coming weeks.
