The event garnered more than 600,000 views across two stages in celebration of this year’s Top 101 Producers rankings
On October 30, 1001Tracklists successfully celebrated this year’s Top 101 Producers rankings with a virtual award celebration in Minecraft — a first-of-its-kind in-game experience. Today, they released the official Aftermovie recapping their joint undertaking with Genesis, where they recreated the city of Amsterdam and many of its famous landmarks into a virtual landscape within the game.
Broadcasting more than 50 artists across two stages, the transition to live streaming was a huge undertaking for the virtual festival series. In collaboration with several partners to promote and broadcast the event, the festival stream amassed more than 600,000 views from around the globe, and gave out over $5,000 USD worth of prizes together with THX, HyperX, Pioneer, and 789ten.com.
The Main Stage broadcast was hosted on the HyperX Twitch channel together with Russian social media giant VK. Sets from Oliver Heldens, #1 in this year’s Top 101 Producers, and David Guetta b2b MORTEN were also broadcasted as part of SiriusXM's Halloweekend programming.
The event was powered by special partnerships with Inflyte, Pioneer, and THX. Pioneer shared replicas of its new state of the art CDJ-3000s within the game. For an enhanced at home listening experience, 11 Main stage sets were encoded with THX Spatial Audio™ as part of a special partnership, including ARTY, Chocolate Puma, Curbi, MOTi, Nicky Romero, Nostalgix, Oliver Heldens, RayRay, RetroVision, SWACQ and Vintage Culture.
1001Tracklists also partnered with Bandsintown, the #1 concert discovery platform, to curate the Club Stage, bringing a diverse array of tech house, progressive, and trance music artists together for an exclusive stream via their Twitch account.
For international viewers in China, 1001Tracklists partnered with Club ONE THIRD and Ourland Music Carnival to rebroadcast the virtual event in its entirety on platforms Bilibili and Douyin.
