SOUTH ASIAN ELECTRONIC MUSIC COLLECTIVE INDO WAREHOUSE’S HISTORIC DEBUT REWRITES THE COACHELLA SCRIPT

FIRST-EVER SOUTH ASIAN ELECTRONIC MUSIC COLLECTIVE CLOSES THE GOBI STAGE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 11, AND FRIDAY, APRIL 18, WITH EXPLOSIVE LIVE PERFORMANCES AT RENOWNED MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL

WEEKEND ONE: HIGHLIGHTS AND RECAP

Indo Warehouse made its highly anticipated and historic debut as the first-ever South Asian electronic music collective to perform at the world-renowned Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on Friday, April 11, with an upcoming appearance on Friday, April 18, at 10:40pm PST on the Gobi stage. The groundbreaking appearance showcased their genre-defining sound and spotlighted a global diasporic movement that is reshaping existing dance culture. The Gobi stage became the site of a cultural awakening with Indo Warehouse blending identity, heritage, and innovation alongside a meteoric dancefloor takeover that redefined what representation looks and sounds like.

Co-founded in 2022 by visionary label heads Armaan (“Kahani”) Gupta and Kunal Merchant, Indo Warehouse has pioneered a distinctive subgenre of electronic music they have dubbed "Indo House,” which combines elements from their South Asian heritage with contemporary house and techno. In just three years, the collective has rapidly grown from intimate New York city clubs to sold-out international venues throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, demonstrating a surge in worldwide demand expanding beyond their cultural diaspora.

For their Coachella appearance, Indo Warehouse partnered with creative teams High Scream (Bad Bunny, Black Coffee, David Guetta) and Frameworx (Lisa, Rosie, Childish Gambino) for a large-scale, captivating, on-stage production in prime time. The original music, innovative stage design, immersive storytelling visuals, and world-class dance choreography included more than 25 performers spanning two sets of dance teams (featuring two regional South Asian folk dance styles: Bhangra and Raas), drummers, and multiple vocalists: Anvaya, comprised of singer and songwriter Sonia, and producer and multi-instrumentalist Kaushal; dance teams Raas Ruckus and Baaghi Bhangra; singers HYDR and PDNY; and drummer Nihal Singh and his dhol drumline.

The label's commitment to showcasing South Asian talent and influences has filled a gap in the dance music market. “Playing Coachella was a cultural milestone for South Asian representation in global music,” says Kunal Merchant. “This opportunity shows the world that South Asian stories, sounds, and creativity belong on the biggest stages — not just as guests, but as headliners. We’re grateful for the chance to do it again, and promise the second weekend will be just as powerful.” Added Armaan Gupta, “Every Indo Warehouse show is an immersive celebration of culture and community, and we are so proud to have brought all of that to one of the world’s most important music festivals.”

Emerging artists are rarely given the honor of closing out one of Coachella’s signature stages with fewer still, breaking from tradition by bringing dance music outside of the Yuma tent. In doing so, Indo Warehouse shattered expectations and set a new benchmark for South Asian artists. Subsequently, the collective’s appearance has been dubbed "Indochella" by global fans across social media as the performances were a bold celebration of South Asian culture and artistry rippling throughout the diaspora.

In true Coachella fashion, the visual storytelling extended beyond the stage. For this performance, Indo Warehouse paid tribute to the late Rohit Bal, one of India’s most celebrated fashion designers. Custom attire was created in his honor that weaved together traditional South Asian craftsmanship with contemporary flair, resulting in a visually stunning and symbolic reminder of legacy, roots, and artistic lineage.

SOLOMUN +1 RETURNS TO PACHA IBIZA WITH A FRESH NEW LINE UP

A SEASON OF STANDOUT COLLABORATIONS, SURPRISE DEBUTS, AND ALL-NIGHT SETS FROM THE DIYNAMIC LABEL HEAD

This summer, Solomun +1 returns to Pacha Ibiza with a fresh perspective and a meticulously curated lineup that cements its status as one of electronic music’s most consistently forward-facing residencies. A tradition that began as a simple concept—one artist, one guest—has grown into a cultural cornerstone, setting the standard on The White Isle with its unexpected pairings, undeniable selections, and unforgettable nights on the dancefloor.

Brimming with memorable moments, the 2025 season will feature Solomun playing all night for four pivotal dates - the opening, June, July, and closing shows - offering fans the fully immersive sets that his legend is built on. Fresh from a showstopping audiovisual performance at The Sphere in Las Vegas, and with his latest remix of Empire of the Sun’s "Television" teasing a colorful, indie-leaning summer sound, Solomun arrives in Ibiza with momentum, clarity, and an appetite to surprise.

The 2025 lineup is a blend of friends, legends, and leftfield thinkers. Jamie xx, Four Tet, Âme, DJ Gigola, Denis Sulta, Chloé Caillet, Steve Angello, and Job Jobse all return—each bringing their own distinct flavor to the +1 experience. First-time appearances this year include Caribou, making his long-awaited +1 debut with a rare DJ set, Carlita, who brings her global, kaleidoscope of sound to the party and Anyma, whose first-ever +1 performance will bring his signature melodic style to the island. Peggy Gou returns to +1 after a multi-season break, while The Dare—rising out of New York’s fashion, art, and nightlife scenes—adds a dose of edge to an already stacked lineup.

This year’s Solomun +1 schedule also breaks new ground with a landmark artist-swap, welcoming fellow Ibiza heavyweight Marco Carola to the +1 booth, while Solomun makes a guest appearance at Carola’s Music On residency. With more unexpected performances still to be announced, it's clear that Solomun +1’s 2025 season is not only looking to open new doors, but dance through them.

Still, at the heart of +1 is the creative fire that drives Solomun himself. After more than two decades at the forefront of global dance culture, he continues to reframe what a residency can be. Supplemented with a lineup that balances trusted collaborators and head turning curveballs, this season reflects Solomun's instinct for keeping things fresh without ever losing the plot. The 2025 season runs weekly throughout the summer. Don’t forget your +1.

SAUDI DJ DULA SET FOR IBIZA DEBUT ALONGSIDE FAT TONY AND EATS EVERYTHING

FROM RIYADH TO THE WHITE ISLE, THE SAUDI TASTEMAKER BRINGS HIS BELOVED FUNKY STYLE TO PIKES IBIZA ON APRIL 24

Saudi Arabia’s own DUL is set to make his first international appearance on April 24, touching down at the legendary Pikes Ibiza for a stacked Back to Mine lineup including stars Fat Tony, Eats Everything and many more. A taste of the summer months to come, DUL is set to deliver the powerful energy of the Saudi scene to the heart of Ibiza. Sign up for the final guest list spots here.

Known for his fusion of house, disco, and deeper electronic textures, DUL has carved out a sound that’s both warm and left-of-center—tailored for moments of connection on the dancefloor. His sets are built around feel and flow, unafraid to drift, dig, and surprise. Inspired early on by the soulful sounds of legends like Derrick Carter and Frankie Knuckles, and shaped by childhood memories of digging through his grandfather’s cassette collection, DUL approaches each set as a chance to tell a story. Already a standout name at MDLBEAST Soundstorm, Defected Dubai, and throughout the region’s underground, this Ibiza debut is the natural next step in an already confident ascent.

Discussing the upcoming debut, DUL says, “Ibiza has always felt like the heart of dance music for me, so playing here is a dream come true. For my set at Back 2 Mine I’m bringing a selection rooted in soulful house, disco, and Chicago house, music that uplifts, connects, and tells a story.”

Pikes makes for the perfect setting—intimate, iconic, and built for those who play from the heart. The evening runs from 9:30pm to 4:00am, with DUL stepping up to the decks from 11:00pm to 12:30am.

For a preview of what’s to come—or a fix for those who can’t make it to the island—DUL’s recent Dondada mix offers a deep dive into the signature selections that continue to set him apart. However, with his Ibiza debut locked in, it’s clear that DUL is building momentum with no signs of slowing down.

“Our Back to Mine album series has always been about featuring artists from every corner of the world and every musical genre. And our Pikes parties in Ibiza have given us the opportunity to reach out and invite artists we are excited about, who are pushing things forward and standing out in their home country. Dul is the perfect example. An amazing new artist who knows the origins of house music, yet is confident and talented enough to create his own beautiful soundtrack. His music is perfect for late nights and early mornings in Ibiza - and perfect for the Back to Mine vibe.” Dan Prince, Founder of Back to Mine

A trendsetter on and off the stage, DUL's influence extends beyond his electrifying performances at MDLBeast Soundstorm and Defected Dubai. His ability to blend local roots with global rhythms has earned him a reputation as a tastemaker, shaping the soundtracks of festivals and underground scenes alike. By pushing boundaries and challenging norms, DUL isn't just influencing trends-he's setting them. His music is the heartbeat of a new era, proving that Saudi Arabia is a force to be reckoned with on the global music stage.
