It feels like just yesterday îLESONIQ, presented by Bell, welcomed its first crowd of music lovers. A decade and over 500,000 fans later, this iconic festival has become a cornerstone of Montreal’s summer scene, earning fans’ unwavering trust and admiration. This special 10th edition is a celebration of our journey, our fans, and the incredible music that has defined the festival over the years. We’re thrilled to reveal a lineup that showcases the fruits of our labour, featuring the best artists in the electronic music world as our booking team continues to push the envelope. Get ready for an unforgettable weekend at Parc Jean-Drapeau on August 9 & 10 (with îLESONIQ in the City on August 8)! 

Prepare for a musical journey packed with nonstop heavy hitters from start to finish. We’re pulling out all the stops to make sure every moment at îLESONIQ is unforgettable, so get there early, you won’t want to miss a single beat. At the forefront of this year’s celebrations are two powerhouse headliners: John Summit, who sold-out the Olympic Parc in September 2024, and Illenium who returns to îLESONIQ to recreate the magic of his unforgettable b2b 2022 performance alongside Excision – this time solo on the main Bell OASIS stage. 

Joining this year's lineup is Steve Aoki, a legendary act who will make his first-ever appearance at îLESONIQ. Expect him to play some of his greatest hits from cross-genre collaborations with artists like Louis Tomlinson, Migos, Daddy Yankee, BTS and more! Swedish producer Alesso’s underground soundscapes have captivated audiences worldwide, while fan-favourite MAU P has become a favourite of Montreal’s crowds with standout performances at OSHEAGA in 2024 and îLESONIQ in 2023. Don’t miss EDM newcomer BUNT., whose high-energy live shows are a must-see for any festivalgoer and be sure to catch vibrant pop stars Sofi Tukker, known for their infectious, happy-go-lucky energy. This lineup is stacked from start to finish, and we promise you—you won’t be able to catch your breath! 

As always, îLESONIQ is committed to introducing fans to fresh sounds and first-time experiences, and this year is no different. Be there to witness the stars of the new generation of bass music, Tape B b2b Levity, making their Canadian debut as a duo!  British legends and BRIT Award (Producer of the Year) winners Chase & Status are bringing their powerhouse energy to Montreal for the first time together, adding a dose of UK flavour to the weekend. Ray Volpe and Kai Wachi will join forces for their first-ever back-to-back set in Canada. These groundbreaking collaborative performances are just the beginning of what promises to be an anniversary to remember, creating connections on stage, in the crowd and behind-the-scenes!  

A true staple at îLESONIQ throughout the years: the Coca-Cola NEON stage! For the 10th edition, we’re spoiling fans of house underground and techno with an outstanding lineup. Expect some of your favourite acts, including Sara Landry, Eli Brown, Layton Giordani, Cassian and LP Giobbi, to light up the performances and bring everything to the next level.

CAMELPHAT RETURN TO PACHA IBIZA FOR ICONIC SEASON LONG RESIDENCY

• Global house and techno icons CamelPhat will play under the famous cherries for a third consecutive season 

• Every Tuesday the British duo will be joined by a star-studded lineup, where they will unite the dance floor from start to end, taking them on a unique deep, groovy and melodic trip.

Multi-platinum production and DJ duo CamelPhat will be back at Pacha Ibiza for 20 weeks of unmissable house music this summer. From 20 May to 7 October, the Grammy-winning pair will offer up their famously emotive soundtracks each and every Tuesday. 

As CamelPhat, Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala have helped shape the sound of house music in recent years with their signature blend of enchanting grooves. For the last two summers, meanwhile, they have curated exceptional weekly lineups featuring an array of exciting DJs.

Returning for a third year, they promise another musical journey that blends deep and soulful house and melodic techno with extended sets from the hosts and special back-to-backs with peers. Expect regular explorations of the Liverpudlians' own impressive back catalogue including classics like 'Cola' and 'Panic Room' alongside perfect selections from the electronic spectrum. 

As well as that immerse music, Pacha Ibiza's legendary sound systems and innovative production ensures each Tuesday is a night that transcends the norm and takes dancers into a new realm of pleasure.

CASPA AND TERNION SOUND GET WACKY WITH THEIR CHUNKY, WOBBLY DUBSTEP SINGLE "NEVER SERIOUS" FOR BASSRUSH RECORDS

UK trailblazer links up with the lauded US-brewed production trio for their cheeky, mind-bending collab.

Bass music’s underground gets a seismic shake-up with “Never Serious,” the highly anticipated new single from UK dubstep pioneer Caspa and Minneapolis-based trio Ternion Sound. Out January 31 via Bassrush Records, this transatlantic powerhouse collaboration honors dubstep’s deep roots while boldly exploring uncharted sonic territory. 

“Never Serious” launches with swinging ragga drums, ethereal vocal loops, and shadowy pads, setting an ominous and immersive tone. The tension builds before erupting into a barrage of expertly manipulated wobbles, each ripple morphing with tactile precision. Immersed in soundsystem culture, the track’s impeccable layering and deep, resounding weight make it equally at home in intimate clubs and sprawling festival arenas. 

Speaking to his enjoyment shared around the collaborative process, Caspa shares: “I’ve been a big fan of the guys for a long time; I absolutely love what they do within dubstep. They had supported me on a bunch of shows and we’d spoken about doing a collab for a while. Last year, it came together very naturally; I created an idea and sent it to them—they added their spin and, bang, it was done. We even kept the original working title: “Never Serious.’”

Keeping it short and sweet, Ternion Sound poses a rhetorical question to sum up their new collab, asking, “Chunky wobbles from ourselves and Caspa, what else do you need?”

As a true trailblazer, Caspa has continually shaped dubstep’s evolution, from his genre-defining work with Dub Police to standout release ‘Ghost Town’ EP on Bassrush Records. His previous Bassrush single, “No Laughing Matter” with EAZYBAKED, earned acclaim from industry heavyweights like EDM.com and This Song Is Sick, solidifying his legacy as an enduring force in the bass world. 

Ternion Sound, celebrated for their experimental and forward-thinking style, have risen as global torchbearers of the dubstep movement. Their releases on Artikal, Deep Dark & Dangerous, and Deadbeats have earned them support from genre legends like Mala, Truth, and Youngsta. With live performances spanning iconic stages from Forbidden Kingdom to Outlook Festival, the trio has continually bridged the gap between dubstep’s storied past and its thrilling future. 

The timing of “Never Serious” is significant, arriving as Ternion Sound embarks on their recently announced ‘Farewell’ tour ahead of their planned disbandment in 2025. This track serves as both a celebration of their remarkable contributions to the scene and a poignant marker of an era drawing to a close. 

Together, Caspa and Ternion Sound have crafted a track that embodies the rebellious spirit of dubstep’s underground while pushing the genre into unexplored realms. “Never Serious” is a testament to the power of collaboration, merging iconic legacies and fresh perspectives into a landmark release for Bassrush Records and the bass community at large.
