MALAA’S ALTER EGO COLLABORATES WITH IRAH TO PUSH BOUNDARIES WITH DRUM N BASS ANTHEM ‘PSYCHO’

Malaa’s Alter Ego is ending the year with a bang, dropping his latest adrenaline-fueled track, ‘Psycho’, and shaking up the music world in time for the new year. The release is poised to make waves not only in the Drum & Bass scene but also in the harder techno community, seamlessly bridging the gap between both genres with its intense, energetic fusion.

‘Psycho’ introduces a mid-tempo groove that blends seamlessly into Malaa’s heavy basslines. Irah’s gritty, deep voice cuts through the track, adding a layer of sharpness that complements Malaa’s driving beats. Known for his ability to blend heavy, bass-driven sound with distinct, reggae rhythms, Irah brings a unique energy to Psycho, giving it the kind of raw, unfiltered vibe that keeps crowds moving.

Irah, a standout talent emerging from the UK’s Drum & Bass community, has already made a huge impact with his platinum-selling top 5 hit ‘Baddadan’ and with over 250 million streams worldwide, Irah has firmly established himself as one of the most exciting new names in the music industry. His mission to inject deeper cultural layers into Drum & Bass has solidified his place as one of the genre’s most innovative voices. In their new track ‘Psycho’, both Irah and Malaa’s Alter Ego bring immense energy to the table. This collaboration elevates the track to new heights, pushing the boundaries of Drum & Bass with their combined power and style.

With a waterfall of new singles from Malaa and his Alter Ego the battle is not over yet. With the release of the massive new track ‘Psycho’, Malaa’s Alter Ego is set to embark on his own journey. This track marks the beginning of a new chapter, just ahead of his much appreciated US tour in January 2025, where fans will experience both Malaa and his Alter Ego. The tour promises to bring the battle to stage and will be one of the most exciting acts in the EDM scene.

Malaa’s Alter Ego is the rebellious counterpart to the masked French DJ and producer, born out of the need to disrupt the status quo in the electronic music scene. While Malaa is known for his deep, darker house sound and enigmatic persona, his Alter Ego breaks free from those constraints, challenging both the music industry and Malaa himself.

This new identity is outspoken, chaotic, and unfiltered, taking a more experimental approach to electronic music, blending genres and sounds that is a step away from the signature Malaa style. Malaa’s Alter Ego represents a new chapter, bringing a raw, unpredictable energy to the stage and online, where it has already taken over Malaa’s social media, stirring controversy and inviting fans to “choose a side.” With this daring project, Malaa’s Alter Ego seeks to push boundaries and create a new space in the world of electronic music where rules are meant to be broken.

OLIVER HUNTEMANN AND MARK ROMBOY LINK UP ONCE AGAIN FOR ’SCHWARZE WAITWE’ ON SYSTEMATIC RECORDINGS

Techno titans and long time musical partners Marc Romboy and Oliver Huntemann are back with another epic collaboration in the form of ‘Schwarze Witwe’ on Romboy’s Systematic Recordings

This legendary pair have very much defined the sound of the electronic underground over recent decades. They are cutting edge artists with a unique grasp of melody and drama and always serve up fresh new sounds whenever they work together. This outstanding new track comes hot on the heels of ‘Teufelsfisch’ in May. That epic cut came on Huntemann's label Senso Sounds back in May and was in the Beatport charts for more than three months. This one is sure to prove just as big.

‘Schwarze Witwe’ is built on hefty drums and razor sharp percussion that cuts right through any sound system. The baseline grumbles down low with a great sense of menace and the spell binding synth work is electric. Withering lines, pixelated pads and cosmic keys all light up the airwaves in dramatic and signature fashion.

This is another standout collaboration from these two icons.
