FEED ME CELEBRATES 16+ YEARS WITH CUTTING-EDGE 'ONE CLICK HEADSHOT' REMIX PACKAGE

ICONIC TRACK REIMAGINED BY ALL-STAR ROSTER OF

FORWARD-THINKING PRODUCERS

Marking over 16 years of sonic innovation, Feed Me unveils a bold reimagining of his iconic track "One Click Headshot" with a dynamic 10-track remix collection. The package assembles an expertly curated lineup of boundary-pushing producers including Grafix, Eater, Shadient, AlienPark, and JACKNIFE, breathing new life into the 2012 fan-favorite that has garnered over 35 million streams on Spotify.

Each remix brings its own distinct vision to the table, spanning the full spectrum of bass music's evolution. Drum and bass powerhouse Grafix transforms the original into a high-octane journey of lightning-fast breaks and soaring melodies, while Lost in Orbit delivers a trap-infused reinvention that merges razor-sharp percussion with thunderous bass design. Flozone dives deep into dubstep's raw essence, crafting a gritty interpretation that bridges the gap between old-school and cutting-edge.

Eater adds a haunting dimension to the collection, wielding controlled chaos through ominous builds and bone-rattling drops. Shadient unleashes an otherworldly take, where atmospheric soundscapes crescendo into mechanized, explosive drops.  EDDIE follows with a technical masterclass, weaving intricate sound design and precision transitions into a captivating sonic journey.

Arya x Alexis B inject raw energy with their grungy basslines and textured sound design, while NVADRZ & ALIAS deliver a relentless drum and bass assault that pairs colossal drops with breakneck rhythms. AlienPark crafts a dynamic tapestry that seamlessly blends hard-hitting basslines with melodic innovations, before JACKNIFE closes out the package with an infectious bass house remix that pulses with unstoppable dancefloor energy.

The release lands during a milestone year for Feed Me, following his August release of the 7-track album "Feed Me's Vintage Rally Championship" and his recent bass-heavy remix of Kai Wachi and Lø Spirit's "Happier By Now." The momentum continues as Feed Me prepares to close out 2024 with his Vintage Rally Championship of North America tour, bringing his distinctive sound to cities including Seattle, Denver, San Diego, and Vancouver.

QUOTE FROM FEED ME

“I'm so excited to present a fresh take on my song, "One Click Headshot".

I’ve brought together a group of insanely talented producers I truly admire to reimagine One Click Headshot on Sotto Voce. This track has a lot of history for me—I still remember the crazy two-day, no-sleep session when I first created it! Hearing it now through the lens of so many brilliant minds has been such a cool experience. Each rework brings something totally fresh and unique, and I couldn’t be more proud of the result. I can’t wait for you to hear these new versions and experience the journey all over again with me!

FEED ME UPCOMING TOUR DATES:

December 27, 2024: Skyway - Minneapolis, MN

December 28, 2024: Red Room - Vancouver, Canada

Multifaceted British EDM producer Jon Gooch developed his Feed Me moniker in the late 2000s as a vehicle for his dubstep/electro-house hybrid tracks. Working with Deadmau5's Mau5trap imprint, Gooch's tracks of wobbly bass and scattershot drum programming evolved over a nonstop stream of singles, remixes for big-name artists like Robyn, and studio albums like 2013's Calamari Tuesday. Born in Hertfordshire, England, in 1984, Jon Gooch first made a name for himself under the alias Spor, crafting hard-edged drum'n'bass tracks. In 2008, he debuted the Feed Me moniker and a more dubstep-leaning sound on his first track, "The Spell." Still active as Spor (and a handful of other aliases), Gooch's work as Feed Me was largely released on the Deadmau5-run label Mau5trap. His first full-length album, Feed Me's Big Adventure, materialized in 2010, and new tracks came at a steady clip in the form of new singles or EP releases like 2011's To the Stars and 2012's Escape from Electric Mountain. He also increased his profile by remixing the likes of Chase & Status ("Let You Go"), Nero ("Innocence"), Gorillaz ("On Melancholy Hill"), and Robyn ("Call Your Girlfriend"). Calamari Tuesday, his second album, was released in 2013 via Gooch's own Sotto Voce imprint. Over the next four years, he averaged a new EP each year beginning with Feed Me's Psychedelic Journey (2014), followed by A Giant Warrior Descends on Tokyo (2015), Feed Me's Family Reunion (2016), and Feed Me's Existential Crisis (2017). He also collaborated with American producer Kill the Noise on the 2014 single "Far Away." In 2019, third full-length High Street Creeps arrived, this time back on Mau5trap. By this time, Gooch's style had developed from the dubstep trendiness of his earliest work into more varied and quick-changing compositions that included nods to his drum'n'bass background.

INDEPENDENT LABEL FUTURE HOUSE MUSIC MARKS ITS 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH RELEASE OF DOCUMENTARY MOVIE

Future House Music (FHM), one of the most prolific independent labels in electronic music, is celebrating a decade of redefining the EDM-house music scene. To highlight its 10-year existence on the market, it just publicly released a highly anticipated documentary movie on its YouTube channel, offering fans an intimate look at its journey from humble beginnings to global acclaim. What began in 2014 as a small Facebook fan page for future house music lovers quickly gained traction, becoming a vibrant hub where fans and artists, including industry greats, exchanged ideas and shared tracks. The following year, Future House Music took a bold step by signing its first record, a single from Jonas Aden, officially launching its operations as a record label, which over time released the music from the likes of Brooks, Wankelmut, Skytech, Tobtok, Sikdope, Sevenn, Redondo, Tom Westy, and way more. Growth accelerated in 2016, when FHM opened its first office in Rotterdam and began building a dedicated team - though not without challenges. "We had no idea how to hire or lead a team at first," recalls Aart van den Dool, FHM's co-founder and music director "It was a steep learning curve, but it taught us the importance of surrounding ourselves with the right people." The label's innovative spirit carried it to new heights: hosting its first festival stage at We Are Electric in 2017, achieving its first viral hit with "Brass" in 2018, and reaching 1 million YouTube subscribers during a milestone event in London in 2019. These successes were accompanied by struggles, including navigating copyright issues on YouTube and label releases and grappling with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, which stifled their ability to release club-focused music or host live events. Despite these hurdles, FHM has remained committed to its core values of supporting raw talent and building a community. Landmark achievements, like launching their Future House Music Awards in 2020 and debuting official merch in 2021, solidified their connection with fans. By 2022, the label ranked as the 6th most supported record label worldwide among DJs on 1001tracklists, and in 2023, FHM expanded globally with showcases, which so far took place in Japan, USA, Malaysia, Germany, UK, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Estonia, and The Netherlands. The documentary, which had its theatre premiere earlier this year at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), is a celebration of these milestones and more. It recounts the challenges, triumphs, and relentless drive that propelled FHM to the forefront of the industry.

"When we started FHM, we had big dreams but limited resources. We kept believing in future house, which was still a niche genre back in 2014. Within our first year, it became clear that we weren't alone in our passion. Enthusiasm for this fresh wave of house music surged which resulted in exponential growth of the brand. In the following years, we've created a community where we try to do things differently by putting artists first and where artists feel valued, and we still pursue this mission with our team daily. That commitment drives everything we do and is why I'm so proud of what we've created together." - Aart van den Dool, Co-Founder & Music Director

"Over the past ten years, Aart and I have had an amazing experience creating Future House Music. Discover in this documentary how we met, how it all started, the events that molded our vision, and the obstacles we faced along the way. It's a tale of enthusiasm, teamwork, and an unwavering determination to develop potential and push limits. In addition to sharing our history, we're very pleased to offer a look into FHM's past, present & future as well as interviews with artists & industry professionals. This is not just a celebration, it's a demonstration of what can be accomplished when people work together." - Gino van Eijk, Co-Founder & Strategic Director

Future House Music is a pioneering independent record label at the forefront of the global house music scene, driven by a passion for shaping the sounds and stars of the future. Born from a vibrant online community, FHM remains committed to its fanbase and people-centric values, connecting millions of house music lovers worldwide through quality-driven releases and meaningful engagement. By prioritizing an "artist-first" approach and fostering innovation, FHM supports emerging talent, curates top-shelf records, and delivers unforgettable live experiences at international club and festival events.
