PILLOWTALK'S LIL'T STEPS INTO THE SPOTLIGHT WITH "DON'T MAKE ME WAIT!" ALONGSIDE STELLAR REMIXES FEATURING BIG $EXY, THE MEKANISM & M&M

PillowTalk Music is back and thrilled to announce the debut single by our label boss and PillowTalk member, Michael Tello a.k.a. Lil'T with "Don't Make Me Wait!" from his forthcoming solo album, scheduled for release in winter 2024.

Lil'T , known for his role as the beat and bass conductor in PillowTalk is now stepping into the spotlight and has teamed up once again with his partner in crime, Warren Bruce, also known as Big $exy, to create a modern deep house version of the 1982 classic by New York's Peech Boys. This fresh take combines Big $exy's velvety vocals with vintage analog bass, Dr. Dre-style synth leads, and infectious swung-out beats.

Accompanying the original track are 3 dance-floor remixes. Parisian-born artist The Mekanism adds his signature touch with the Classique Remix, bringing a nostalgic throwback to the early 2000s garage house that you won't want to miss. Lil'T's Disco Revenge Mix exquisitely blends Big $exy's vocals with the Peech Boys' original acapella, produced and recorded by Larry Levan, creating a track sure to become an underground anthem. Lastly, New York's Martin Pērez and Mario Polanco, known as M&M, take us on a tribal excursion with their subterranean After Dark Remix, inviting listeners to lose themselves in their deep tech-house rhythms.

COFRESI RETURNS WITH FIRST ORIGINAL SINGLE OF 2024, “ANOTHER DAY”

Chicago-based DJ, producer, and live instrumentalist COFRESI emerges from the shadows with his first original production of the year, “Another Day.” Hot on the trail of his recent collaboration with Denver talent Maddy O’Neal, “Matcha,” and "Still Believe," a stellar stint with frequent GRIZ collaborators VIBELINE, COFRESI teases a big project in the works with the new, bass-forward cut. 

Continuously pushing the boundaries of his sound, COFRESI has carved a niche somewhere between bass, dubstep, and house where he blends natural instruments with contemporary, ethereal elements. His dynamic and refreshingly versatile live digital-acoustic setup has seen him take over a myriad of stages including North Coast Music Festival, Summers End Smokeout, Chop Shop Chicago, The Homie Collective Campout, Biscoland, and Solshine Reverie, amongst many others. His diverse productions have seen him collaborate with several revered artists in crossover spaces, including Matisyahu, Too Close To Touch, Autograf, Bass Physics, Flamingosis, and many more.

An ode to a few of his main sources of inspiration over the years - Odesza, Big Gigantic, Gramatik, Medasin, Pretty Lights, and Mr. Carmack- “Another Day” finds COFRESI at his most optimistic. Clocking in at nearly 3 minutes of bliss, COFRESI layers a collection of vocal chops with a slow-step bassline drenched in late 2000s nostalgia. Ringing true to its name, “Another Day” represents a new dawn for COFRESI as he steps into the marvel of what he has coming next. Next up, COFRESI will take over the decks at various venues and events across the US for the remainder of the summer - the Homie Collective Campout in September, and the Big Fam Festival in October. 

Born and raised in Chicago, continues to expand his creative horizons, introducing new and inspiring sounds to the dance music community. He is known for blending sounds of bass, dance, trap, soul, DnB, and a little bit of nostalgia. COFRESI is also known for his high-energy live sets which demonstrate his skill in integrating versatile percussion and Ableton. Since his debut release, he has performed his distinctive live/electronic hybrid set at numerous internationally acclaimed festivals and is certainly an artist to watch for.

TECHNO PIONEER UMEK TEAMS WITH BREAKTHROUGH TALENT SAM WOLFE FOR “RELOADED” VIA FILTH ON ACID!

Slovenian techno pioneer Umek and breakthrough talent from the US Sam Wolfe have joined forces on a new collaboration, “Reloaded.”

To be released on Reinier Zonneveld’s mighty imprint Filth on Acid, the track is a deep plunge into the depths of pure techno.

In “Reloaded”, the two techno giants bring in highly flammable elements to the track, creating an irresistible atmosphere with powerful, fast-paced beats and a hefty bass, enhanced by spell-binding vocals.

“Reloaded” does not hold anything back, having top DJ and producers Umek and Sam Wolfe unleashing their full power to thrill techno-loving crowds.

Born and bred in Slovenia and becoming a global techno legend and label head of 1605, UMEK is responsible for kickstarting the electronic music scene in his country by organising illegal raves and then becoming one of Slovenia’s most wanted export products and number one music ambassador to the whole world.

After more than 25 years as a professional musician, he decided to use his experience and skills in the entrepreneurial world. Together with his managers, he founded a music-tech startup Viberate (www.viberate.com), where they are building the world’s greatest music platform for analytics, stats and more.

Atlanta based Sam WOLFE has started to earn himself a spot in the leading force of techno with his electric DJ performances, skillful production ear and infectious anthems. Since his debut he has had Top 10 tracks in the Beatport Techno Charts and collaborated with some of the biggest names in the game including Teenage Mutants, Cosmic Boys, T78 and now UMEK whilst receiving support from Adam Beyer, John Summit, Dom Dolla, Fisher, Mau P, Hardwell, Tiesto, Armin Van Buren, and of course UMEK.
