MONOLINK RETURNS TO EMBASSY ONE WITH ‘LIGHT UP MY DARK’

Out now, the new single drops alongside an acoustic live performance video, shot in Melides, Portugal.

‘Light Up My Dark’ – the captivating new single from German record producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Monolink – is out now via long-standing Berlin-based record label Embassy One.

The latest addition to an already sparkling career discography, ‘Light Up My Dark’ marks Steffen Linck’s eagerly anticipated return to his staple home following the release of his critically acclaimed studio albums ‘Under Darkening Skies’ in 2021 and ‘Amniotic’ in 2019.

Showcasing an inimitable sound design that is entrancingly thought-provoking and beautifully dynamic, the new single sees Monolink deliver an introspective slice of vocal electronica that seems suitably designed for both festival dancefloors and at home listening alike. Embarking on a hypnotizing excursion of longing, minor tones and uplifting juxtaposed synthesizers, Steffen’s despondent lyrics are underpinned by more hopeful melodies and driving organic percussion, all of which continue to act as a unique hallmark for an artist whose creativity seems to know no limits.

The single also drops alongside an official music video, featuring Steffen himself, which was shot from a beautifully lit rural courtyard location in Melides, on Portugal’s west coast.

Having established himself as one of the most unique hybrid solo live acts to emerge onto the global electronic music scene over the past decade, Monolink’s rise to international stardom has been remarkable to say the least. Classically trained, and with an instrument-focused musical upbringing, he has managed to carve a reputation as one of the most dynamic performing artists on the melodic techno circuit, tastefully straddling the fence between electronic producer and live singer-songwriter. His style seamlessly connects the narrative structure of a song with the compelling forward thrust of electronic rhythms. Organic chords merge into synthetic pad sounds, hypnotic bass vibrations meet emotional vocal parts, passionate physicality meets sublime stimulation for the mind.

JIMI JULES RETURNS TO INNERVISIONS WITH HUMAN RIGHTS

The new record marks the first single in the rollout of the Swiss producer’s new conceptual project ‘NOW’

As summer heats up, Jimi Jules is back with his new project, “NOW.” This creative and evolving platform explores life, love, togetherness, and the above all joy of making music without losing track of the reality. Like the previous project, the visual direction is in the hands of Trevor Jackson, shaping one of the project's core aspects: the belief in creating something beautiful together.

“Human Rights” is the first single and the kick-off. It blends percussive elements, a driving four-to-the-floor rhythm and a housey synth loop into a fine melange for the dance floor; the perfect stage for Jimi Jules' glimmering vocal performance and the personal message of the track.

Jimi Jules is an international multi-Instrumentalist and producer, dedicating his successful career and education to the House and Techno scene. Devoted to club culture and having played over the world for 20 years, Jimi Jules is currently signed to renowned Berlin-based label Innervisions and collaborative booking agency TS.

In addition to his solo endeavors, Jules has been actively collaborating with a diverse array of esteemed labels, including Innervisions, Zukunft, Defected Records, Life And Death, Watergate, Rumpelmusig, Hive Audio, and Rebirth. Notably, Jules recently achieved a milestone with the track "Pushin On," released on Defected, garnering over 200,000 record sales and earning him silver disk recognition in in the UK.

DUBVISION RELEASES DEBUT ALBUM "ANOTHER WORLD" WITH EXCLUSIVE DOLBY ATMOS EVENT AND GLOBAL TOUR

DubVision are here with the release of their debut album, "Another World." The album, which has been years in the making, beautifully encapsulates the essence of their live shows, combining stunning visuals with progressive house melodies to take audiences on a journey. 

"Another World" is the culmination of over three years of dedicated studio work, with a significant creative boost during the pandemic. This period allowed DubVision to refine their sound and align their music with the evolving needs of fans. Featuring collaborations with industry heavyweights Martin Garrix (appearing on two tracks), AFROJACK, and the soulful Jem Cooke, the album promises a rich, immersive auditory experience. The lead single, "Home," showcases the powerful vocals of Shaun Farrugia, setting a compelling tone for the album.

To celebrate the release, DubVision is hosting an exclusive Dolby Atmos event at STMPD Studios. This special event will provide fans and press a unique opportunity to experience the album's soundscapes and meet the artists in person.
